Great video. I have considered a solar panel but Skyline and others say they only last 5 years so my concern would be removing the panel when it’s time to replace. The set up you have uses a bond to the roof will that be removable in future?

The Solar panel looks like a much better then the semi flexible panels that you can get. I really don't like the idea of having the two cables sat on the top on the panel which are exposed to possible damage. Saw one of them come of a van a few years ago. Plus I would like to try and replace on as they tend to be covered in adhesive that would be a mare to get off, I would imagine.
The Chair Pod is a great idea for tailgate vans, not seen them before.

Hey Dan big thanks for doing a midweek video with some great content as always, the T5 is looking good and progressing but a conversion like this takes time and there is no point rushing it as mistakes will happen, the solar panel fitted a treat on the roof and doesn't look out of place due to the nice design of the wire coming out of the back, looking forward to the next one👏👍

Great progress Dan, I agree that the solar panel looks a lot better then having the cables exposed on the roof, I’ve got the same style although only 160w ( it fitted better on the standard metal roof ridges)but a great bit of kit, loving the chair pod as well, so much more convenient and never needing to make sure you’ve packed chairs also easier to access after a long drive👍🏻I’ve got the California version that is also a great bit of kit but a lot more bulky that the VS one, are you adding the door card with the built in table for even more versatility.loving the midweek video, it breaks the week up 👌🏻
