Wow I just made it and it's awesome...thank you so much ....only tedious task in all this was washing the processor jars and the blade..god it took me like so much time to remove a,l the stains from it
Just add a tbsp or two of vim liquid in warm water in the blender and turn on the blender for 2 minutes! Leave it for twenty minutes on the kitchen counter Wash after 20 mins with a sponge or bottle brush!
thanks for teaching us the basics of kitchen. We sometimes keep malai for many days in fridge and not in fridger. also we used to keep home made makhan for several days. thanks for guiding us
i kept malai out of refrigerator for 1-2 hours today (during summers) and then started blending with electric hand blender and added cold water after 3 min mins. of blending and did same after next 3 mins. but it became paste or whipped cream type & butter didn't came out of the malai then finally after many tries i had to cook the thing directly on gas to for 45 long mins. to make ghee... what i did wrong i dont know but my attempt was a total failure... today was the 3rd time i failed using hand blender.....

just an experiment i have done i would like to share. the same procedure of collecting malai in the fridge but to keep it for longer period i have added some amount of curd after every 2-5 days gap then adding malai to it. to my observation, it lasts for more than 15-20 days and it was good theoretically, there is a reason good lactic acid bacteria culture etc. i used it to prepare ghee and it smells really nice

Use hot water... It removes all the oilyness and then you can normally wash the vessels with dish soap
