  • I often read people on the internet asking about toning their hair, so I thought since I recently coloured my hair a disgusting colour and wanted to correct it, I'd use the opportunity to demonstrate toning bleached hair to help remove the unwanted orange or brass and gold tones.
    I hope you find it helpful, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me, I'm always happy to help!

      Looked through piles of useless videos on hair toning and this is the least subscribed but was the most helpful. I was looking for tips on how to fix my orangey brassy hair which was ash blonde A few weeks, natural color is black. I usually go to a hair colorist but since I'm doing it every 2 months I thought this time Ill choose the cheaper option and do it myself.thank you for the help.

    Hey. I just wonder why you chose a level 10 toner, and not a 9A or 8A? Also-did you apply the toner on dry or wet hair?

    What toner do you recommend for bleached highlights that matches close to the #18 hair extensions? Dirty blonde. Many thanks. Come back with more videos!

    I really appreciate the in depth explanation. I just watched your « How to mix toner » video and I was wondering what the difference is between mixing up a toner solution like that and the little bottles of liquid we see for sale in pro hair shops called « toner. » Are they just more concentrated? Thanks!

    I used a 3% peroxide and colour to tone it, had to leave it on for 45 minutes the maximum time as not much was happening but I still have yellow bits in it? Helped a lot to tone it down but the yellow patches are still there. Any advice please should I tone again? Getting very frustrated now!! Just want it all over white!
    Got a mixture of white bits/yellow bits. The yellow bits seem to be near the top of my head

    If my hair is almost a shade of white and I bleached my roots and they are yellowish, can I use a permanent hair dye for toning from Alfaparf in the shade violet?

    • @LemonSodaHair
      @LemonSodaHair  6 лет назад +1

      You could, but I would be very careful with a pure violet as it will grip the white blonde quickly and it's going to get a soft purplish vibe, which could be really awesome tbh, but it might not be what you're after. What is the end result you're trying to achieve, just a flat tone all over?

    Would a silver ash-blonde hair color neutralize brassy orange bleach hair to a more ashy color?

    • @sundaskhan6025
      @sundaskhan6025 6 лет назад

      Instead of using blue dye

    • @LemonSodaHair
      @LemonSodaHair  6 лет назад +1

      It would, but you have to be a little careful with Ash because it has a tendency to turn bleached hair a khaki colour. If you're using Silver-ash, it will contain blue (silver is blue based) so that will help pull it around from the green that will be deposited in the Ash. If you can be more specific I can give you some more tailored advice no problem :)

      Im going to use a color called Kallos 90.01, its called "silver blonde" after bleaching it. So i was just wondering if i would end up with a good result, i have darker hair, so i know i will def not end up with yellow hair after bleaching it, probably just end up with a brassy organge if not orange-yellow :) I currently have light brown balayaged hair (warm undertone)
      thank u so much for ur reply!!!! :)

    Where do can you purchase the toners?

    • @LemonSodaHair
      @LemonSodaHair  7 лет назад

      Apologies for the late reply.. You'll want to find a salon supplies store. In the UK there's a place called Sallys that I think sells to the general public as well as most online stores who really don't do any checks. I think there's a place called Sallys in America too, though I'm not sure if they're related.
