I bought 250g of zero and my elegoo Mars is having print failures ! Can’t print pass the first layer. I’ve tried PTFE lube, tape under the vat and sanding the bed. It’ll print the first layer but nothing past that. Bottom exposure time 220s, layer exposure time 32s. Someone please help 😭😭
I really appreciate your work. Can't wait to see the casting resoults. I couldn't find a resin yet that burns out perfectly. Far to be as easy as burning wax.
What printer did you use? I'm trying to print with Dark on Elegoo Mars but so far all fails, it just sticks to FEP. Used their preferred settings of 25 bottom layers, 21 sec per layer and 130 sec per botton layer. Tried to level again, put PTFE on FEP and nothing, fail after fail. Should I check for something else?
We use the Prusa SL1. It peels on an angle which is a little more gentle. Are you cleaning your FEP with a solvent? It may be a factor, we just use mild soap and water. We don't apply any prep solutions etc. It's our opinion that if you need a bunch of other products to get a quality print the resin maker isn't putting in enough effort. We haven't had any issues with any of the Power Resins sticking to the FEP. It's really hard to diagnose issues like this without model info, cleaning procedures, basically the whole process.
@@ClearMindJewellery Got it, had a two days long journey through all the procedures possible, and finally found a soultion. Turns out I had to print the prime coat first and then immediately after print the model. Worked like a charm!
currently in the same position as you. just got the elegoo mars pro with powerresins dark and every print has failed. used 21 sex per layer and 130 per bottom layer and it still fails as well. i reseted the bed before each print and still nothing. can you speak more about the prime coat. i’m just tryna get my first print out

Try creating a raft like attached to the small beads in the the video.
Hey buddy, did you manage to find a solution? I'm having the same problems
Which printer did you use? I use the DARK with my Solus and love this resin for it's reliability, clarity of print and castability.
Prusa SL1

On their website, they advised not to use isopropyl to wash it, what is your take on that?
We've tried both Methyl Hydrate and ISP with no adverse effects to the prints.
Just purchased a 250g bottle of Dark. Hope the cast looks as good as the molds. Thanks for the video.
The models all printed excellently. The cast was pretty perfect as well, video for that is up tomorrow.
did you cast those resin? how did they turn out?

I have had the best results with the wax resin since I started 8 months ago and worst one was the dark.
The wax isn't the worst rated one on our overall resin list. But the Dark is the top so far, it does have the longest exposure time though.
wax is the best by far...the rest of all these resins are hit or miss junk
Time stamps would be great!
