gotta say i love that you usually show the uv light uniformity and power. i don't know why most reviewers (and product descriptions) seem to ignore that, it's good information to have.
As always spot on! Thank you! :) Seems like this is an amazing machine. Of course additional features could be better but let's be honest, this is a 3d printer and if it prints well, other things don't matter too much.
I bought revo and very important for me was the heating of the cabin, unfortunately it does not work as it should, it heats to 40 degrees, I contacted dozens of emails but my opinion is that they know about the problem but do not want to solve it
Another fantastic review, thanks. If you had the chance and spare time. Would you ever consider reviewing the anycubic photon mono series e.g. 2 , 6ks or m7?
I have one of the pre order Revos and I agree with your assessment. It prints very well, but does feel like it's not yet a finished product, especially the Phrozen Go app. The best feature of the app is the notification to your phone when the print is complete or has a failure. In my experience, the print failure detection feature only detects when something has broken off the build plate and fell into the vat. It doesn't detect if the print is not adhering to the build plate. One other thing, compared to my Mini 8Ks with the same layer height and resin, I need a much longer exposure time on the Revo. Have you noticed that?
Can I ask a dumb question? I got a printer recently and I’m curious about whether I should be printing at 50 or 30um? Your prints generally look great; how much of that is down to layer height (once you have exposure locked in)?
Dumb question perhaps. But have you noticed any correlation between how filled up is the build plate and how likely are printing errors to appear? Would you recommend to fill the plate as much as possible or to keep it around 70% or so? Thanks for the wisdom
@@davidc3150 yes more full plate, means more suction force/peeling force. Hence you need to adjust print setting accordingly. It could be raise exposure a bit, raise lift distance, slower speed or more rest time. Or combination of all.
@@wangdennysThat's good to hear. It seems like a very sturdy machine, that's built well with no wobble or flex anywhere, even if the camera is impossible to use.
FauxHammer reviiew was like this printers is junk but he wouldn't say whats good or bad, maybe if he said bad things they wont send him 3d resin printers, and the 3d resin printer he does review and said he paid for it out of his pocket is bogus because he buys them then does a review then sends them back getting his money back. because if every one else is getting a free resin printer view and he does not he cry and whine like a little baby.

Excellent review and absolutely spot on in regards to the features.
Thanks for watching!

Great review as usual, all the details someone needs if they were considering this printer 🙂

sorry, no chance at the moment.
been like 2 years i try to stay away from anycubic product. antialiasing never works on most of their product.

most of my print setting pretty much the same with mini8ks.
maybe your speed setting and lift distance could be the issue

i print at 25um
and calibrate exposure to that layer height

If you can wait buy the GK3. Same price but the uniformation seems to be a much better machine.

How much does the screen uniformity affect your prints on the revo? Have you noticed anything negative with the ‘okish’ light uniformity.
