Right now it’s only steam vr but there is a lot of potential, this is a very early version. I guess they had to cut a lot off the usual PlutoSphere client to make it eligible for app lab.

Great video and it seems a great solution for playing PCVR games for those who don´t have a gaming pc... I have entered the pluto sphere web, and I am afraid there is a problem.... if you don´t pay an additional serviceo called pluto drive, your machone will be erased 30 minutes after you turn it off... this makes the service unusable for me, what a pity... I am now thinking about shadow pc or paper space, but shadow has a monthly payment subscription, that I don´t like, because I need to test it first, naybe my wifi or internet are not good enough to play... Papespace seems great but I don´t know it the machines are removed everytime you turn it off..

Hopefully this is better than Shadow VR (monthly subscription rather than hourly) - which worked ok in Beta, but stopped working for me altogether when they rushed the full release out

Yes but make sure to follow the updated guide here: ruclips.net/video/fB0WNvBgAtA/видео.html Also be aware that you’ll still need a good wifi connection and a decent ping to the nearest AWS server. To test your ping go here: aws-latency-test.com and make sure there is something under 50ms
You are going to have to redownload them unless you pay an extra 10 bucks a month for persistent storage. I know its annoying but Amazon charges them so they have to pass on the cost.

@familiarfaces_official I found out how to download pretty much all the PCVR games, so it'd be great if you could download a game/games to your laptop and then save them in the Steam library. Couldn't you sign into Steam on Virtual Desktop and play PCVR that way using shadow?
You don't need a PC or Virtual Desktop to use this. If you hear me say the words "virtual desktop" it is referring to how plutosphere acts as a literal virtual desktop, not the app virtual desktop.
Because the storage isn’t persistent. They do offer persistent storage but it’s like $10 a month extra (to be fair, they have to pay extra for it from AWS) However, you do get cloud saves for most games connected to your Steam account.

Definitely way better, Shadow kind of offers Vr support as an afterthought where as it's Plutospheres main focus.
