*important* it's been brought to my attention that people are confused on how to access sidequest once it's is installed.
Here's how to do it.
Click library>search and up the top you'll see a box with ALL*
Click that and select UNKNOWN SOURCES. Sidequest will be there.
the link that you tell me to go to just brings me to a sign up page with email and password

edit: I thought the numbers we're supposed to go in a meta browser instead of a computer/phone. that was my issue
@@matulko5ysign up on ur phone or on the quest it will request the numbers right after u get signed in went thru the same process
PIN THIS!!!! To download the apps once you have side quest you need to go to the 9 dots in the right corner it will say app library click on it and then on the search button and go to all then click on unknown sources and click side quest then download, and go back to unknown sources and click on the game you want to play. Hope this helps :)

Quest 2 is the same folder as long as it leads to downloads.

just fixed it, you have to wait until the code is different and then try again, at least, that's what worked for me

That's strange. It might be worth reinstalling and if that doesn't work set yourself up as a developer, you can see how to do this by searching on RUclips. Outside of that you may need to go to Sidequest.

You can’t go directly to download you have to go to standalone HMD or oculus quest to scroll down until you see the word download and go on it

when i do this the "data" part 1:02 doesn't work it says to make a new folder
It's because of a new android update. Modding is impossible now due to it. There's no workaround currently.

@@fatwaffleboy8947 As long as they're not games you don't have to mod your headset for, you can download stuff off of the store, or from side quest if you already have it installed on your headset.
Unfortunately until Meta changes the new feature, no one can mod their headset anymore

How do you actually play the games
Basically there are 3 types of game listed on there. Applab games, SideQuest games & itch.io Games
If you go to a game on sidequest and see Install on headset. When you click it you'll install the game onto headset and you just have to go to Library, click all and unknown sources and the game will be there.
If it says 'Applab' then it wil link to applab & the same with itch.io
The code doesn’t pop up anymore so this no longer works
when the screen goes black, the whole thing is vertical for me so where do I click? or how do I make it horizontal?

On the gray control panel there is a little icon that looks like a window. Click it and it will allow you it select the resolution.
This video did help until the pard where in mobile version station you click on downloads it did not appear in my downloads

you may need to use a phone to turn developer mode on you can do this by going on your phone to “headset” then to “headset settings” and it should be there it says you need a company just make one uo
The files menu is tiny, and when you attempt to expand it to possibly see permissions, it crashes everything.
