Exactly, the Lions are same team except thier weakness is now a strength. Might take a while to gel but they will be a juggernaut come December. That being said, they could go 14-3 reg season even with their tough schedule.

Agreed on the Jags. I was pounding the table for Arnold in the first round and was BEGGING for them to take Rakestraw in the 2nd. They did not. Was very frustrated with such a big need going mostly unadressed. Darby won't start more than a few games before he goes on IR again, guaranteed.
Get your frustration and while I did want a corner, by the time they selected in the second round, the best were gone.
Not sure if a consolidation prize or not but Jarrian Jones was graded top 3 in man coverage. I really hate when the national media leaves out context when talking about players but do you know who was Jones’ defensive back coach at FSU during 2020, 2021, and 2022? None…..taken from FSU’s website itself. For 2023, they finally hired a defensive back coach, guess who. Patrick Suitan Senior and then somehow Jones technique got so much better.
As for Price, I think on Hecker after dark podcast, he was graded 9th overall in the country as the best man coverage cornerback.
Not completely confident but am not at the point thinking they didn’t address the cornerback position.

Nope, they didn't. Huge mistake taking 2 zone cover corners and not added an elite edge that doesn't get pushed back by TEs like Hutchinson does

I'm not entirely sold on Cooper DeJean, his biggest weakness was his ability to spot the ball. Which I think for a corner is pretty important. Probably why he had so few interceptions. I could see him being a really good safety though if he can make the adjustment.
Quinyon Mitchell played at a lower level of football, and like most guys from division II you never truly know if they can compete at the higher level. Lions and Philly both drafted well, but Philly went with the risky picks leaving the more reliable ones for Detroit
