I connect the electrical supplies to these on jobs all over the UK and Portakabin are by far the best! Pir lights, soundproof rooms, aircon, waterless urinals the list goes on. Top notch product
Very wise words that a company's reputation lies in the hands of bellends! Many managing directors would be wells advised to give thought to them and ensure that ANYONE who MIGHT be the first to respond to any sort of visitor treats them with respect and not aggression. Keep up the good work DJ.
At the extreme end of the scale it is but I think in most cases on these videos it is a mixture of a bit of a power trip and ignorance of the law as opposed to anything more sinister .
I bloody loved Brian. Solid guy. A real asset to the company. I've walked away significantly more informed about the company and it just proves that you get your bad apples in the company but you shouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water. Brian undid alot of the initial damage the first guy and security did to the company/ brand.

Brian , Thankyou for the information , that was really very interesting , explainable of information of how the productivity of cabins ect your character i/we find very charming & gentleman of complete integrity , Thankyou 🙏 brilliant report DJ A 👌
The fellow you were speaking with represented the company well and gave out some very good information. Regarding the first guy (store manager) at the gate - it just proves that even stupid people can find employment. 👍🏼
Stores is a vital part of Logistics. He may be be very competent within his remit and might benefit from this interaction, if he goes home and contemplates how he can develop his public relations facet.
What a fantastic audit. Brian was the perfect employee. What I love about DJ is sharing the positive videos such as this just not the confrontational ones
Every business you visit needs a Brian! We now know much more about the excellent product they produce. He turned a good video into a great video. Well done Brian!
As stated in the video i also thought this was going down hill, The last member of staff "Brian" was doing a job well done! Great video DJ, As always it is appriciated
OK people. Learn from Brian. What a great ambassador for Portakabin. I think her deserves to be promoted and receive a healthy pay rise. Well done sir.
What a fantastic advert for Portakabin Brian was...I have used their kit for years on site, top quality product. Brian should get a raise for being friendly and informative..
Thanks Brian for sharing about Portakabins; thanks DJ! 👍 Seen many planning applications to place a Portakabin on a site as a temporary structure. Unique one was a police station in Kent installed a portakabin for community policing offices. The temporary structure installed on a flat roof of a one storey extension and external stairs. Still in use many years later. In the US, Atco is popular temporary structure supplier.
@@bashpr0mpt719 It depends how it operates .When done properly local Beat Officers and Neighbourhood Teams build up intel about local criminals . It isnt all about racing around in cars once the crime has been committed ( although that is important too ) .
It makes me wonder how many of the thousands of viewers of this video who are in a position that will now consider using Portakabin after listening to the explanations and passion of Brian. Far better than any advertising campaign if companies embraced this kind of coverage. If I was still working as a chief engineer I would certainly consider them for temporary or permanent installations. Looking back I have had multiple buildings constructed with far less facilities than these buildings. People still look on them as site cabins, temporary rooms or toilets.
This is a very interesting company. The guy who was there for 38yrs talking all about it is awesome, i just love this kind of stuff, flat-pack houses or whatever, tiny houses, all cool stuff, big fan of it.
It’s called a bump cap. Not as substantial or protective as a hard hat. You will see them in a lot of places where workers can bump their head, rather than for falling items. Good job Brian 👍
What a pleasant chap Brian was, it’s a pity not more companies are so accommodating and forthcoming with the information, I found it really interesting!! Thanks DJ, good video!!
It still shocks me how people don't know the law of the land. Why don't they just check before making themselves look stupid! Well done Dj for doing what you do!
I think Brian deserves a pay rise. He is an asset to that company. Well informed, talkative, pleasant, erudite. You did your company proud mate. The guys at the gate didn’t do the company any favours tho. But I focus on the positive and Brian deserves a gold star ⭐️ Well done D.J as always. 😀👍
Employees work for the company and the company owns the property. The employee should be working and mind his own business. I like the older employee who more reasonable and willing to talk about his company and their products 👍👏👏. I think he was a supervisor.
I agree and he also tried to explain Simon's initial reactions without throwing a colleague under the bus . That is the sort of colleague you want . I also suspect he had a word with Simon to explain exactly what it was DJ was doing . Simon could have done this himself he hadnt have adopted the immediate suspicion and confrontational narrative .
Fantastic video and Brian was Awesome!!! Now they have the opportunity to get some positive promotion and well done to Brian for being a fantastic representative for the company
"You're not allowed to video record!" he keeps saying repeatedly. These people are unbelievable. Why can't they just mind their own business like DJ is minding his?
Been in a few portacabins onsite .when it's raining and snowing you don't want to leave the cabins very nicely set out with heaters and cooking and toilet facilities
FINALLY a boss that's proud of his company, Bryan was great
I connect the electrical supplies to these on jobs all over the UK and Portakabin are by far the best! Pir lights, soundproof rooms, aircon, waterless urinals the list goes on. Top notch product
What a great guy Brian was who completely understood the situation, If I was younger and looking for a job I’d like to work for Brian.
The "yer not allowed to video" line is where the employee mixes up internal policy, with external photography rights.
The result of five generations of sibling parents
@@ianpennington5856 😀😀😀
Brian at the end knew his onions. Its rare that companies keep staff more than a few years.
Hats off to him he was passionate and interesting.
The reputation of a good company is in the hands of some idiots at the gate
Lol lol lol lol
Well said, imagine how much trade that company has lost with them ignorant things representing at first point of contact!
The reputation of this company is know as no good . the idiots at the gate can not change that .

Telling someone they’re “not allowed” to record private property is not curiosity it’s authoritarian.

thanks for stating the obvious

Well done Brian. A credit to Portakabin ..... that man deserves a bonus 👍
I think that cap is what they wear post lobotomy to prevent what’s left of their brain falling out
Great content again man
I was going to say exactly the same thing.
These idiots can't comprehend they have no jurisdiction off their own property.
I would rather a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
Hats off to Brian, top bloke!
Big respect to Brian, store boy was a plonker though and let the side down.

Stores is a vital part of Logistics. He may be be very competent within his remit and might benefit from this interaction, if he goes home and contemplates how he can develop his public relations facet.
This was saved from a PR disaster by a friendly and professional company manager.
Agreed 💯👍
Even if the company manager explains it to the storeman I bet he still wouldn't get it! It is a mindset!

the manager was a credit to his company . Very calm and informative.
I think the issuing of the hard hat is too late , the brain damage has been done 😢
.. I know i shouldn't laugh but 😂
He’s only wearing the hard hat to hold in the slush in
Marvelous ! Imagine that as an armed MOD cop. Nae humour, not like the old cops, they had nothing to prove.
They were mostly vets.

Community policing is as much a white elephant to waste taxpayers money as those 'mobility' ramps that no one ever uses.

He had to up his valium intake, hes still in the bar cafe.

Brian, of Portakabin, was a total credit to this great company!
Saved by the lovely representative at the end wiling to chat and educate us. He deserves a pat on the back from his managers.
What a top man brain is! That’s how staff should engage with members of the public! Class 👏
Brian has shone his company in a great light. Value employee.
