The mini lollipop sucker ‘Mr Manager’ took a phone call off no one. Check the point he claims he got the call (as soon as DJ started quoting GDPR) he went from recording to a phone call on a locked screen. 😅
9:30 It doesn't matter if he on his break and being paid or not. Nor does it matter if he is working or not. What matters is how he uses the recording. If he does nothing but puts on his private facebook page for his family to see then he is exempt from GDPR. But the moment he shows or shares it with anyone in the company he is caught by GDPR. Now I can tell just from his demands for answers about what DJ is doing around the business that he is recording for evidential purposes for the business in the hope that he can get something that will incriminate DJ. So it's very unlikely that he is recording for personal use. He is therefore caught by GDPR. He fails to inform DJ what the recording will be used for and he failed to get DJ's permission. He also fails the ICO requirements that security footage should be kept to the property and not include places used by the public.

Interesting video, recycling centres are fascinating from an industrial process point of view.
First manager was a bit of a douche, second guy much more professional. Good feedback for the site too!
Another vid where DJ don't disappoint 👍🏽😎
That wiring on the fence looked like data cabling, possibly connecting into the IT equipment in the cabins. It is so low voltage that it wouldn't register on the volt-stick. So it may actually be in use.
I saw the far right of the fence where the cables had been cut.
@@DJAUDITS Lol, that changes that.
They are old Data Cables. They look like they were used on a temporary basis. They should be housed in containment not lashed to a fence 😂 the cables should be of external grade running outside ideally. If you wanted a warranted system. Those weren’t.
@@martingetliffe I've done some sketchy cabling in my time but that was nuts. If I tried that some landscaper would come along and mangle it all up with a string trimmer or something. Bare cable under a brick path with not even rated cable. Even for temp use I would have got some pipe of some sort.
What a load of rubbish. Lol
The "Air conditioning" is probably Air Sourced heat pumps, ha ha like he's gonna spend his break tackling DJ Audits that's really funny probably be better having a Pastie, and he didn't seem like Management Material.
Looks like they have fixed the roof themselves in the building with open front, different colour and sized sheeting, probably put the fork lift through it
I'm not saying you don't have line of sight, but you must have bloody good eyesight to see that drone from where your standing.
The requirement is to have visual line of sight. It doesn't say that you have to actually see it.
@@TheSadButMadLad then what's the point of having visual line of sight
@@richardbosson774 To be able to check that there aren't any obstacles in the way and to check that nothing else flying would interfere with the drone.
The manager certainly was a very strange individual and the ear ring just made him look ridiculous. Oh well different strokes for different folk. The second guy was more approachable and how it should be handled. Another enjoyable audit DJ
That was hilarious when he "answered the phone and told the person he's on his break". What a clown.
😆 "did I mention I was on my break!". 👍
I’m suspecting he didn’t even get a call. Probably just pretended to get a call.
He had enough sense to realise that he had to continue the lie about being on a break since he knew he was being recorded.
Biffa 45yrs ago used to illegally burn prohibited materials at night in their industrial incinerators until they were caught inflago delecto and heavily fined!
I expect the fines were cheaper than the costs to get rid of the waste properly, which Im sure they knew and took into consideration before they burnt the stuff in the first place!
@@spencerh2860 I know who stuck them in and they were taking bribes to burn the stuff,in effect local people became suspicious when clusters of birth defects appeared close to the incinerators but it took the politicians nearly 10yrs to close them down via H&SE,numerous tests were made over that time but since several of the staff died youngish from cancer!
bloody sidewalk monitors get everywhere........you've been polite everywhere you've been and still they insist on pushing it....just where do they get their justification for accosting the public?.......beats me Jim..............
Looking at it I would say that those where networking cables, keep up the amazing work D.J 😁👍
I was on hols recently and popped into a gadget store and they were selling DJ Minis. It felt like I was seeing a celebrity 😄
Had dealings with Biffa before awful company to use this video
Sums the company up
DJ - that first idiot was NOT A MANAGER🙄
Smoking on SITE, IS AGAINST POLICY, and COMPANY RULES.
He lied too You, about His POSITION, so He could FEEL IMPORTANT, so You would FEEL INTIMIDATED, He HOPED, and THAT FAILED MISERABLY, Just like His, Ridiculous attempts at Calling the Police, for a LEGAL Action.
3:45 HAHAHA! Walks up so he's being filmed, doesn't wanna be filmed, says he'll call the cops. For what? XD
7:45 What the hell is going on!?
Bl00dy Hell! - The Google Car went down this road the following month (Nov 2022) and the signs have been replaced and the cables are gone - he was listening to DJ who was actually in full-on H&S mode.
Creepy guy
Those cables might be being used. The look like phone or alarm cables. You see external movement detectors on poles. These trigger inputs on the cctv controllers which in turn will swing the PTZ cameras to that zone. They'll like be 12 volts dc and not enough to light up your tester.
What a weird bloke that manager was. Not exactly a glowing representation of the company.
21:55 is not just pure gold, no, not even platinum...it is titanium. Imagine how many people have had their employment unlawfully terminated based on a CCTV stitch up. 😮 Blah blah... You were seen on CCTV doing or not doing said work or not doing your work, whatever.... Yadda Yadda... Hey presto on the dole. Imagine the scene in HR.... "You can't fire me based on the illegally obtained and utilized footage because it contravenes gdpr. You have now put me in the position where I can no longer remain in this hostile work environment. You'll be hearing from my solicitors."
Pop round JCB Headquarters Uttoxeter.... they are producing a large amount of noise pollution all round the factory 24/7 upsetting local residents and they are doing nothing about it even ignoring the council which are involved.
22:24 Network cables don't carry high voltages so they are not dead. Ethernet cables only have to handle about 2-3 volts. The voltage detector will only work on high voltages.
you know the great thing about DJ audits is 🤔 yes he has to poke The fire to get a response for his RUclips channel, and I get that, however what I would say is now in his professional manner he never actually pokes the bear. so well done sir.
If there data cables which they look like your voltage detector won’t indicate because them being low voltage.. Usually 24v.. your device will indicate 110v to 230v
The big guy was a gentleman. Very professional.
The mini lollipop sucker ‘Mr Manager’ took a phone call off no one. Check the point he claims he got the call (as soon as DJ started quoting GDPR) he went from recording to a phone call on a locked screen. 😅
why not do an audit of your own workplace?
Water tower is a part of Tata steel property
Tata video out soon 👍
9minutes in and this is gonna be a banger
At 6:26 when you mentioned they gave another company money as they were using a viridor bin, its because biffa owns viridor.
The cables look like cat 5 or cat 6 Ethernet cables…not great to link buildings to the network that way, fibre is much better
