He isn’t REQUIRED to speak to anyone. He’s a security guard. Anyone suspicious, he doesn’t have to be polite or courteous. He isn’t expecting to ever speak to anyone and if he is, he’s well within his job spec to be hostile

Had he spoke to either of my two like that they'd reverse the lorries up and company would not get the goods or pick up and a complaint would go in. Believe me first point of contact if everything they represent the company be it hired security or employee. Politeness is everything

I loved the way you bounced it back to the guy who approached you around 13:22 . He is making demands on a member of public. He needs to identify himself if he has any form of authority. Totally put him on the back foot.

As a public video maker myself, i get this kind of thing also. However, when i visit one of the biggest black markets in the world, everyone is welcoming when a camera comes.

Great Audit.8/10 and should have been a 10 all round. Security needs more training on how to speak to people and should perhaps take lessons from the second person. Guys that turned up were a bit hostile to start but soon turned very professional so well done them.
The yellow blocks in front of the trailers are there to stop tractor units from backing up/preventing them hooking the trailer up, these are normally used when the trailer is being loaded, in case a driver misreads the trailer and attempts to take the wrong one, as these trailers could contain workers or forklifts, it could cause some injury etc, the company I used to work for used them, as a foreign driver had done the exact thing I had just said might go wrong, luckily though there was no workers inside at the time. 3:28 you mention you did not see the security guards SIA licence at 2:08 he has it in his hand, where he had picked it up from the counter facing away from the road, when you was at the window talking to him, while he was calling for back up

I am originally from Ireland now based in UK and was in the Security Industry for almost 35yrs (including managerial posts and owning my own company, I am now a retired Security Consultant) in Ireland during the worst of 'The War' known as 'The Troubles' from 1969 til 1998 and never have I seen such a panicky reaction to a man with a camera asking polite, questions, I have noticed that in many of your vids, what way are these men and women being trained,? I woulda sacked the lot of them, especially calling for backup, or their manager and even worse the Police don't they think the Girls and Boys in Blue have more important things to do. its a parcel sorting hub. i live down the road from there and it operates 24hrs a day. those blocks are so no unit can hook up if the blocks are moved then the driver can hook up its all H/S

In all fairness if he had a medical emergency, would he be able to do CPR for even 4 minutes? I would hope so but very much doubt it. I would hope there is some fitness to work test for such occasions and if first aid is part of the SIA licencing.
