Some of the animals would have been bread in captivity or aren't able to survive in the wild due to health, it's not always a case of just locking them up in cages. I don't like seeing them in zoos either but some times there is a genuine reason
i met her at dudley zoo when i tried to get concessions for my disability and my mother as a carer all above board as site suggests i had all paperwork she would have any of it i asked to deal with somebody else all sorted she may have been sacked recently not good for dudley i live 8 mins from zoo and can see whole zoo and castle from my kitchen window

As drones become more popular, such service employees will need to learn some more. They are not familiar with drones it seems. They assume (or presume) too much about how loud a drone is, how low it flies, and so on. Based on that their standard response about animal welfare was right.

The meerkats in Melbourne Australia at the children’s hospital died of heart attacks when the flight path of helicopters changed and went overhead . I suspect drones might scare animals too. Thanks for keeping the drone high.

Having visited the place myself earlier this year, Animal Welfare isn't exactly at the top of their priorities. I wouldn't go back on principle, there are plenty of other zoo's and wildlife parks with far better facilities for their resident's than this place.

Yes the extended battery will go above 249g. The standard battery can do around 30 mins.
