It was years ago but now sadly we have extra people for the Sia courses who actually come from countrys where arogance rules. Try working with soneone who literaly will not acknowledge a female...its dangerouse for all on the team. The SIA (security industry authority) are part of the home office. It's not necessarily the training that is the problem, sometimes they are contracted to sites via a security company, and the site they are contracted to tell them what the rules are that they are to enforce, then the guard is in a position where if he goes against the site instructions such as no one can film without the companies permission, and he allows them to film the company will complain to his company and tell them not to send that guard back to their site because they wouldn't enforce the rules. But on this occasion, I do question whether he skipped part of his training that states, if you have a situation you are not sure of or is unusual, then you should refer it to the site management for instructions.
to be fair he checked before getting involved and admitted he'd been told it's fine to carry on. This is one of the better responses. Nice change seeing someone choose the grown up route as default. No probs.

There was a polymer ( cellophane) factory in Bridgewater, next to the college, it stank so much you couldn't open the windows in summer, there was a sister plant in the USA and eventually they shut the Bridgewater plant, much to everyone,s relief, it was closed to boost the work load for the USA plant.
Chemical plants often smell - and often smell very, very badly. A drone is a safe bet as you REALLY do not want to go in there. As they say in the Industry: "Don't get any on you!!"

The local community surrounding this company are complaining about Berry due to the smell polluting the town. There are facebook pages, a group against them and plenty of signage. I don’t think they are popular amongst Leamington Spa
Mate im contemplating getting one of these drones just to find carparking spots in unfamiliar areas😂. Just park up, secure my vehicle, and a few mins of flying about to find the ideal parking spot!
For anyone who doesn't know Berry set this plant up about 3 years ago and to this date they have stunk out the whole area which has also been plagued by clouds of flies. For some bizarre reason the local council allowed this plant to be located less than 100m from a densely populated area. There have been numerous community meetings but again strangely the council/Environment agency can't or don't want to do anything about it.
This is all part of the issue with The Security industry in the UK. Security operatives who have no clue as to regards of the UK LAW. Unscrupulous security companies who employ anyone to fill a uniform. On the up side he was a very pleasant guy
