these suits are sold by shepperton design and they claim to be the most authentic replicas.... that's a big claim The only real fact is they ARE NOT using real molds from the movies... these costumes are not even close as the real movie suits SDS costumes ARE NOT getting you allowed to join the 501st legion
All you have to do is LOOK at his Stormtrooper armor/helmets and then LOOK at the movie. Very simple. If you aren't blind and just plain stupid, you can clearly see that Ainsworth's suits aren't even close. Rubies Costumes makes a more accurate suit/helmet than this guy. And furthermore, even if he DID have the "original moulds" - what a complete piece of garbage he is to steal his client's designs and sell them as his own. That's like someone who works at Kinko's printing up a bunch of Mona Lisa posters and claiming they painted them. I feel bad for anyone who falls for Ainsworth's lies and buys his garbage suits/helmets.
Have you seen a rubies stormtrooper armour set there not even close to the movies proof of that is the 501st will not approve one. Yes I can see Andrew lied and used other people's work to sell but saying there not movie accurate is bull, there made from replica modules and not the original modules as the og modules fell apart after ESB

He didn't translate himself Ralph's drawings into 3D shapes (as he claims), somebody else came with the design, he just had to vacform it. He is not even making helmets nowdays with the same tools/molds than back in 76 (as he claims), the overall shapes are "there", but the details are off, and the assembly is hideous. Do your research before giving your money to him for a piece of crap (made from lies).
How much BS can come out of one person's mouth. Derek Mendings did the superman work. The space 1999 creatures were done at Paramount . This guy owned a pond making business and all he did was vac form the helmets NOT the armour which he was paid by the prop department.
