Olympic divers and professional cliff jumpers could probably do some of the lower water jumps from the games (none present in this video). Any of the haystack attempts would pretty much be instant requiescat in pace. I wonder how many aspiring assassins died over the years when trying to perform their first leap of faith.

I hope AC Shadows does not change this franchise signature feature too much. Criticize AC games all you want, but there is no denying finding all the synchronize points and doing leap of faiths was always addictive, and often breathtaking.

I think camera shake does great action play here, it simulates wind resistance and adds depth to the feeling of falling, making it more memorable, like some of the jumps in the video don't have camera shake and it feels bland and so regular you don't realize the height you're jumping from. And in contrast there is Asgard that adds too much camera shake that it feels cinematic and almost as a cutscene, fits great for that jump but the same effect would be too much for all the leaps in the game, somewhere in between would fit the best.
The leap of faith in the forgotten saga for ac valhalla is much higher than the asgard jump as the time it takes to reach the water is like a good 7 seconds
the fact that all 9 from the highest ones are from Odyssey and Valhalla tells you how far gone the AC series in being too fantastical when they were making the RPG trilogy. I'm glad they're pulling it back nowadays with Mirage and Shadows.
I think at these heights the winds are strong as there's also sound of wind howling but their hair and cloaks are just lying there as if there's no gravity. This will look so much better if they just add some animations to the cloaks.

AC Odyssey is by far my top-favourite game in the whole franchise. The story, the gameplay, the whole GFX design of ancient Greece...maláka, even the size of the map and all the stuff you can explore...it's nothing but EPIC

I tried comparing the 3. And 1. Jumps One jumps from 177m and reaches the ground in 8 seconds Other is 194 and reaches the ground in 5 sec. Oversimplified math tells me that Valhalla has 4.3g and odyssey is at 15.5g Looks like these assassins can do much more than just be stealthy.
1:15 doesn’t count as that’s a DLC that not everyone has. Technically, if we’re going off of facts, the first three high points aren’t high enough, especially if we’re basing it off of tallest viewpoint or highest viewpoint. For Origins, it would be the Ra-Horakhty Mountain Top in the Black Desert Nome, for Valhalla it would be Manstone Rock in Sciropescire, for Odyssey it would be Taygetos Overlook in Sparta.

A good representation of how bad this series went off the rails. A clever story blending fiction into realistic history converted in to a straight god of war fantasy. Never thought I would say this but as Much as I hated Origins at least it wasn’t a complete fantasy game until its last dlc. Note I will say the gameplay and combat of odyssey was pretty satisfying. If they would have just made it a complete stand alone game With nothing to do with assassins creed I would probably not judge it as harsh as I do.
Actually it didn't went of the rails. It just evolved. Games evolved, adapting to the theme of every title and what nowadays gamers want. AC Odyssey & Valhalla are one of best selling AC games.

I don't see Shadows cracking the 200 meter mark, and nor should it. AC fans did not deserve The Fate of Atlantis. They complain so much about everything and yet forget about such beautiful worlds.
It gets higher and higher. I hear the next game will have a jump out of the ISS. Takes a bout 10 minutes to plummet to the ground and land in a hay stack.
Early games like AC1 & AC2 you can not mark a specific area to measure distance. The Duomo in AC2 is only 115 meters (according to wikipedia) so it was not included in the list.
I am planning to do it. But its a bit difficult to measure distance in older games (starting from syndicate and before) as they don't have eagles to mark specific area for measurement.

All ac games are good imo from Altair to Ezio, Connor, Edward, Bayek Kassandra ect I had a good time through the years playing their stories. That’s all I’m saying. Can’t wait for Shadows even with all the controversy it’s being hit with it’s still gonna be awesome

Early games like AC1 & AC2 you can not mark a specific area to measure distance. The Duomo in AC2 is only 115 meters (according to wikipedia) so it was not included in the list.
Valhalla and Odyssey are the biggest games.

I am planning to do it. But its a bit difficult to measure distance in older games (starting from syndicate and before) as they don't have eagles to mark specific area for measurement.
