I've probably put in more hours playing Origins than any other game simply because i enjoy transversing Egypt so much that i rarely ever fast traveled and i enjoy the tour mode. If they ever remaster the other games i hope we get more tour modes where you can just chill and explore the world while getting historical information. Same with Syndicate and London. As much as Unity is one of my least favorites, i have to say i enjoyed the setting and detailed interiors of levels, especially our home base at the cafe where you can watch shows and see npcs fill it. As for AC3, i was surprised how much i enjoyed exploring the Frontier and thought it was cool aeeing the different weather. AC3 and by extension Liberation also made me want more tree parkour. And dont get me started on the modern day areas in 3. They were amazing. I'm also one of those weirdos who loved the abstrrgo areas in Rogue and Black Flag.
The Pyramids are such a good location because of how far you can see them. My Xbox Home Screen is a screenshot I took from on top of the Alexandria light house.
I love Ac Odyessey, too. Was 2 years ago in greece and an island named Santorini, there i climbed up mountain with an view i the ocean and heard Ac Music. Man, had tears in my eyes. What a feeling ❤
I really enjoyed the locations from the DLCs of both Origins and Odyssey. Just love the theme of the afterworld, or, in the case of Odyssey, even "hell". Would love a part 2!
Thank you for pointing out how beautiful the interiors are in Unity. It's one of my favorite AC games because there are so many beautiful interiors to explore and so much detail.
yeah. Lots of amazing locations in the series. I would be up for a part 2. A few of my favorites that didn't make your list are The Fields of Elysium and Atlantis from the AC Odyssey DLC. Both are breathtaking. The Round City is also very beautiful, imo the best thing about Mirage.
The White Desert and Black Desert in Assassin's Creed Origins are also stunning. Not much to do there but I stumbled upon the locations when replaying the game recently and I was pleasantly surprised with how good they looked.
Agreed the desheret desert did give off that desolate hellscape vibe along with the ambient sounds. Absolutely depressing and equally commendable by the devs!
elysium and atlantis in odyssey were quite beautiful, but I think that the afterlife regions from the pharaohs dlc in origins are the most beautiful locations we had in any ac game yet
I think the Sant-Chapelle in Unity is probably my favorite in the whole series, maybe tied with Great Inagua in BF but the stained glass of the cathedral just stuns me personally
Florence and Venice in AC 2 are so beautiful too and the Soundtrack is wonderful. And the view from the roof of the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore is Awsome. Two of my favorite AC Cities.
Great list. I think I’d add Atlantis. It’s such an amazing sci-fi Isu realm. I sometimes just let the bird fly around and watch that beautiful place… especially the night view.
Great video ! The view from the office of Abstergo in Black Flag is the skyline of Montréal. And from the angle it seems that Abstergo's office are in the tower of the Olympic Stadium. Being from there, it's a really nice touch !
That’s what I love about Assassin creed how they choose a time in history n make it come to life, with the location and the lore and history of the area into the game
19:41 this is so true i still remember back when i was younger and i went out of the villa and explored montergioni in the modern day, it really made me view the city in a new way and it was so cool seeing those big far away city lights on the rooftop of the villa
Man thank you on the Norway part of the video. Can’t explain how hyped I was on Valhalla, me being a Norwegian (from Stavanger in Rogaland / Rygjafylke as well!) only to find out that that sequence only lasted a few hours into the game. I mean England was cool and historically a lot of events took place there, but it would be so cool to see more of Norway. Like the battle of Harfsfjord (10 minutes from where I live/grew up) was the battle where King Harald Fairhair gathered Norway under one rule. That happened in 872, same year as the start of Valhalla. Man Ubisoft missed out on so much potential.
Amiens from the siege of Paris dlc was probably the most beautiful city I’ve ever seen in a videogame. And Ireland was stunning in wrath of the druids. I think these 2 places deserved a spot in the list
When playing AC Valhalla and I’m in the Wrath of the Druids dlc, I always pay a visit to The Giants Causeway. Was lucky enough to visit it in real life earlier this year and it’s like walking on a different planet.
For me, my top 5 has to be: Atlantis, Parthenon Athens, Valley of the Kings, Alexandria and the Big Ben. I am a huge history buff and even though the storyline of the newer games aren't that great, I just love to explore and see what the past world could've actually looked like.

You're not even allowed to drive a car on the historical walled area (there is no space for it).
