  • Check out my one of a kind Child Inner Drive Assessment at WendyGossett.com or buy my book Your Child's Inner Drive: Parenting by Personality from Toddlers to Teens. You can find it on my website or on Amazon.
According to Parents Magazine the number one way to prevent at-risk behavior in your children is CONNECTION. One way to stay connected to your child is to UNDERSTAND them! Through temperament you can understand how your child's brain works, you can know what to expect from them through all stages of life. It is a necessary tool for your parenting tool kit! My daughter and I are complete opposites. I am an ENFJ and she is an ISTP. Your relationship was really struggling until I learned all about how to parent her based on her temperament!
I use Myers Briggs, Carl Jung, Keirsey, Montgomery and eeg mapping research. By using many respected methods, the results become more objective and accurate. I work with families and only charge $249 for a two hour virtual session that will map the entire family and help them understand how to grow.
    TESTIMONIALS
"Wendy Gossett has completely changed my life and my relationship with my sons! I had no idea I wasn’t allowing them to be their true selves and wasn’t understanding them or relating to them in the way they needed. I can’t thank her enough!" Natalie Gold, parent
"This knowledge takes the guesswork out of parenting and will give you and your kids the freedom to be who you were designed to be. Wendy’s Temperament Testing and Family Mapping can open up the world of understanding for all the people in your life!" Ryan and Laura Dobson, Hosts of REBEL Parenting
I have used a number of specialists in my 17 years of practice and there is no specialist I hold in higher esteem than Wendy Gossett. The feedback I receive from my patients is almost unbelievable. She is a proven resource and when I refer a family for a Temperament Mapping Session I often end up with a tearful parent thanking me for the referral! Dr. Brandon Davison Tracy, Pediatrician

Thank you for this video! I as an INFJ was finding it difficult to "get through to" my wonderful ESTP son and I was feeling like a crappy mom. But since learning about my type and his as well as about compassion parenting, things have been much better and I am now better able to understand him and I appreciate our differences even more! I used to question everything and rebel against the status quo so like you said, being one step ahead of him really helps. He is helping me see the world in a whole new way. And I can actually see him for who he is rather than wondering if I am doing something wrong as we weren't seeing eye to eye. Sorry for the long comment but thank you for your video and have a great day!

Would! This really encourages me! Thanks for taking the time to share! It is very interesting because you guys really are opposites! Your number 1 function of Introverted Intuition is his most inferior function. This means that you search for deep meaning in the intangible world and he searches for experiences in the physical world. He feels most comfortable using his 5 senses, whereas you are somewhat disconnected from that. So amazing that you are realizing this! My daughter and I have the same opposite thing going on with our feelings. Something you two have in common is that you both get stressed by choices. Some types are stressed by relationship issues, whereas some types are stressed by options. INFJ's can be stressed by having too many options and ESTP's can be stressed by having too few. They need freedom to explore and get tied up in knots when they think about choosing one path for their future calling. Does this resonate with you?

Thank you so much for creating this video. This describes my child exactly! As if you know him personally. My other 3 children are all I N types and I'm infj. It has been a challenge. I'm working on appreciating his strengths and trying to see the world from his perspective to understand his responses to the people and world around him. In regards to your description of their alter egos, he wants to be the family police officer hero and the family rebel.

Wow Gabriella your comment is a gift to me and encouragement to "keep on keeping on" as my late Grandmother Ethel would say. The RUclips world is a crowded space and sometimes I wonder if making these videos is worth the effort, but comments like yours are the fuel in my tank! If you aren't familiar with the Jungian Psychological functions, they are literally The User Manual for your "rebel".Since it sounds like you already have a base knowledge, we could do a 1 hour virtual session (or if you are in Colorado, we could do it live) that would map out all your family functions. It is really amazing and powerful! Thanks again for taking the time to comment! Would you mind if I used your kind words to market my channel?

Perfect description! My nephew is ESTP and you described him to a tee.
"But I was not playing with the toys on the floor. I was playing with them on the teddy bear!" (Teddy bear was on the floor that had just been sprayed.) 🦁
