    Do you never go off-roading? Are you slowly rolling over speed bumps at the Mall and proudly taking up 2 parking lot spots at your local Walmart? Then this my friend, is the Raptor of your dreams.

    HP and Torque numbers stated in this video are to the wheels numbers. Ford's stated numbers of 450 HP/510 FT/LBS Torque are Flywheel numbers.

    If that’s a Raptor then you got your horsepower and torque numbers wrong. The 3.5 liter EcoBoost in the Raptor has 450 horsepower and 510 lbs ft of torque. The standard 3.5 liter EcoBoost in the regular F-150 has the power figures you stated.

  • @ChrisWatchesYourMom
    @ChrisWatchesYourMom 6 лет назад

    So... your saying if I put that fabtec lift kit on a regular f150 it will preform better than a raptor suspension wise? Nah. Looks like a regular lift kit.. ford designed the shocks certain ways to get the dampening just right, good luck jumping something with that lift kit.

  • @RAFModified
    @RAFModified 6 лет назад +11

    A block in the rear, 4" at that? that's the biggest no no in suspension unless you keep it on the pavement.

    • @xTheJmanChannel
      @xTheJmanChannel 6 лет назад +4

      I was thinking the exact same thing lol. They just took an off-road engineered suspension and literally threw a brick at it. Blocks are OK for moderate off roading if they're smaller (2 or so inches), but a 4 inch block.... yeah they did nothing but ruin the trucks integrity and reliability.

    • @rustyshacklefort3715
      @rustyshacklefort3715 6 лет назад

      He said that it gives the Raptor a full 4’’ suspension. Which means its only a 1’’ block, the Raptor has 3’’ suspension. Not that I’m supporting this but making it clear. Besides the fact that they put larger wheels ruined it you want more tire and less wheel in an off-road truck. SO they lost me with that for sure.

    • @charleshenson4183
      @charleshenson4183 6 лет назад +2

      My SCA raptor has a 4.5” block and rear 4” shock extensions so it retains the factory ride quality. Right now I’m only adding an add-a-leaf to each side to give it extra strength in the back

    Puting even bigger rear block under those weak stock leaf springs that after a year of regular offroading go flat anyways is dumbest thing I ever seen. First thing what I did after getting my Raptor was getting rid off the weakest point in it which are stock leafs and leaf block. Replacement was Icon 8 Leaf Pack without any blocks. You just made offroad truck into I have no clue what by lifting it. This crap of lift especially on front shocks would fall apart after my second outing with it.

    I'd be curious who covers the warranty on the suspension once you actually try and drive this the way Ford meant originally. Fabtech clearly states on their website that it will more than likely void the the Factory warranty. This lift was meant for looks more than function as many people stated. Blocks are the wrong way to go when it comes to desert running. To hard on original components. www.fabtechmotorsports.com/policies.php Unless policies changed after new ownership SCA doesn't cover this under warranty either. It would be way to high of a liability.

    Drop brackets and 4 inch lift blocks....... Perfect example of how NOT do build a truck. Sorry dude but you just screwed up $70K worth of truck there. But hey... This will look killer sitting in the mall parking lot, which is about all it's good for after your "upgrades"...
    My advise. Take all that crap off the truck. 37's will fit with a shock swap with a perch adjustment.

    Truck looks great but I'm in agreement with these other commenters. Truck already has a 3" lift already from the factory and you're putting blocks on it! Another thing, this guy is annoying as he'll. He's in other SCA videos as well and he's annoying there too, so much so that I can't watch the whole videos. I want to see the truck not some guy whose face takes up half the screen.
