You forgot to say 6oh’s are the best trucks in the United States ☺️☺️ 6.0s are the my favorite though forsure! that’s why I have a 03 and a 07. Play truck/nice truck

I previously had a super low mileage 7.3 and it had ZERO pressure in the coolant bottle but thn I bought a 12 6.7 powerstroke and it has pressure in the coolant bottle, I always thought no pressure in the bottle was good? So if there's pressure in the coolant bottle it's good? Serious question

Thanks for the video!! It cleared up a lot of questions!!
hey man, what gauges you runnin on the 6.0? love the videos man
The oil doesnt need to be changed every 3000 miles, 6000 is even kindve a stretch especially if youre running additives like hotshot secret, oil cooler is a common issue, bulletproof egr is a good permanent fix, or delete and a tune, all the fuel side bs is a problem including oil rails, headstuds with oring’d heads are a big plus. 6.4 rockers are another plus.
6.0 definitely isnt the best diesel by any stretch but when they run great they are nice.
I had my oil tested at 7k and they said it could have gone 9k. That being said, I wish I could change it every 3000 because it looks so thin and spent. I don't have the motivation to do it though lol
You should have produced Corvair commercials..if you can convince anybody that the 6.0 PSD is anything but the most unreliable engine Ford every made your a superstar!
6.0 Powerstroke’s are junk even if you maintain them you are lucky if you even get 200,000 miles out of one. VERY LUCKY
If your upper rad hose is still hard/ has pressure after sitting overnight head gaskets are bad
Yes do a part 2, what year is your truck? Is 6.0 your favorite? You should do a video on the difference between the 6.0 and 6.7 and why 6.0 is better keep it up bud
Mines an 07
@freed diesel beautiful truck bud hope to have one some day right now just got the ol f150 haha
Heck ya thanks man
The 6.0 is better than the he 6.7 because you can work on a 6.0, good luck on the 6.7
Trick to my 6.0 is I never bothered resealing the bed plate, Haven't pulled drain plug in years lol I just gotta add fresh oil while I keep my undercarriage greased and lubed I also can tell how much juice the batteries have by the size of the puddle if she sat for a while lol. I brought home a brand new F-350 my first 6.7 last week not gonna lie its fast, clean, and reliable, but think i like my 6.0s shit-stained cloth seats better
I have chevy 6.0 GAS engine and I don’t haf to do none of this stuff 😂
The problem with the 6.0 is that the truck doesn't have a 7.3 in it.
I love the fact he’s trolling yall cause he’s basically saying any truck will last if you take care of it and actually monitor ur shit lmfao
I work at a shop where we bullet proof them .......and we still think there junk
The only way to bullet proof those trucks is to put a cummins in them!
Driving down the street in my 6.0. Cracking a piston.... Needing a tow.......

6.0 go cart ?
When you have to over maintain/additives and you have to constantly monitor the gauges, it’s not a reliable truck lol
And every 3,000 miles? Get a better engine man. This thing sucks
Title should be “every reason why you don’t get a ford”
Studs aren't even a necessity if you take care of all the other things mentioned and maintain it. I'm well over 250k on stock head bolts in my 04. Knock on wood
Can you list the parts you have put into the black 6.0?
Like performance wise?
Just a turbo lol
@@freeddiesel anything that's not stock that you no of, performance, maintenance, looks, etc.
I had a CLEAN 04 F450 with the 6.0, sucker ripped, sold it and a week later it was blown up and for sale again. The idiot put gas in it and tried to run it home lol
How did you get yours to smoke without a smoke switch?
Blessed performance tunes
Yes sir thank you
I found a local 2006 f250 6.0 xlt loaded completely bone stock just like it came out of the dealership, I'm guessing it was owned by an older gentleman, it has 133k miles for $16k runs great on the other side I'm also finding king ranch trims with everything done to the motor with a lot of aftermarket cosmetics but they usually have more miles on the motor like 180-200k plus. being sold for $16k-$20k my question is I'm I better going with the stock truck and build it over the span of 2-3 years or go for one that's has had most of the things done to it. what would my best bet be to have a reliable 6.0
Depends really how well it was built and if it was taken care of
That moment you have so much knowledge about it you just want to be sarcastic in your video
LIKE THE POLICE TOLD YOU
YOU CAN RUN... BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE FROM THE MECHANICS... 😂
UNTIL YOU GET $$$ FOR BAIL OR BULLET PROOF
If you think a 6.0 is the best diesel ever made WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SMOKING!!!
You forgot to say 6oh’s are the best trucks in the United States ☺️☺️ 6.0s are the my favorite though forsure! that’s why I have a 03 and a 07. Play truck/nice truck
Bruh I've had pairs of underwear longer than you have had that truck already and you act like you know everything about it 😂
love the vids bro!
If your apending under 600 bucks on head studs you kight as well stick with factory bolts
you should probably know what bulletproofing a 6.0 is before putting it on video.... im sure you have done your research since but know what you are talking about before putting it out to the public because these people will believe you. so know what your putting out before telling everyone..
What are you talking bout
I previously had a super low mileage 7.3 and it had ZERO pressure in the coolant bottle but thn I bought a 12 6.7 powerstroke and it has pressure in the coolant bottle, I always thought no pressure in the bottle was good? So if there's pressure in the coolant bottle it's good? Serious question
Yes a Lil pressure is good it only holds 16psi
Hi
I got a 6.0 got a Leakey injectors runs great except for launching
PowerStroke Specialty in Buford Georgia, sells Proofed 6.0’s or bring your truck to them and they’ll fix yours. Lifetime warranty on the head gasket. Great Place to get your truck fixed
I had a brand new 7.3 installed there $$$$$. But they did great job.
@@jasonpatterson947 That’s Cool 😎.. It’s a great investment. Long story short, I went from a truck that I couldn’t drive, to one that I can get my money back if I sell it
What’s your opinion on the 6.4 I seen one for sell for 14 k has a new long block in it is it worth the cash just plan on making it a mud truck
They aren't to bad if it's built good with a single turbo it's a good truck
That's a lot you have to deal with on a 6.0 I have a 7.3l it's oil water and drive
Idk man If you have to “bulletproof” an engine just to make it a reliable daily is it really “the best diesel ever” ?
If you have to buy a $5k trans every 50k miles it's not worth it
add ATF to the 6.0 to keep it running lol
#1 truck you'll see on the side of the road with hazards on the 6.0 I laugh every time
I haven't seen any lol
I would just put an old Yanmar L100 in there
Also a good test is make sure the engine is cold when looking at it and the wire by the passenger battery will crank over the engine but not start it so you can listen if a rod or rocker I’s screwed
290th!
Makes me appreciate my Tesla lol so much maintenance on that guy
But it's fun haha
I have an 05 6.0 I love it I just had to replace my FICM that’s been the only issue I have had
Ya same here really
I totaled my 6.0 Monday I'm very glad it kept me alive but it is sad to see her go
Damn glad u good
What kind of glow plugs do you have in it?
Motorcraft only all the others are junk
@FREED DIESEL Thanks I tried ACDelco once and never do that again! I want to get a truck like that or something with a lift, treated nice, and with BIG tires and rims what do you think I should get?
What size life do you have on the 6.0. And what are the most reliable years for a 6.0 ?
05-07
4.5in lift and 05-07
I watched about 30 seconds of this and that was 30 seconds too long
Do a snowmobile vid
Dude if you’re running the good hotshots oil and the stiction eliminator there’s absolutely no reason why you can’t go 7,500 miles on the oil, changing it every 3k you are just wasting money and oil that is still good
It’s more personal preference to change it that early. I’d rather lose a couple bucks out of “wasting” oil than ruining injectors and or a motor. I run my oil changes every 5k. These trucks are picky on oil do to the heui systems
Not necessarily if you have a truck with the heui injection system I'd do it 5k miles max I do 3k bc I do alot of towing an beat on it a Lil
You gotta love a Ford🇺🇸
Love the content man!
