Doctor Strange has to forcefully take the Darkhold guarded by Sinister Strange in this alternate universe. - Кино
Im still sad they removed the "Things just got out of Hand" from the Trailer...
Same here
yeah, because in the earlier scene jim halpert has a line where he says that quoting the other strange. it would have tied together all nice
@@RadicalRegice “Jim Halpert”? Don’t you mean Reed Richards?
This is my favorite scene from the movie. I loved their dialogue, and their battle is one of the most creative fight sequences in the MCU, just when I thought I've seen everything a curve-ball is thrown at me.
Donna Strange died in an accident when she and her brother, Stephen, were playing over a frozen lake. The ice cracked causing Strange to fall and drown. Stephen was unable to save her, and this prompted him to become a doctor in order to save lives.
When Dr. Strange meets "Sinister Strange" from a fallen dimension, Sinister warns his counterpart that reading the book not only affects reality, but also the reader, revealing that he has a third eye in the forehead. This foreshadows the mid-credits scene where Dr. Strange develops a third eye in the middle of his forehead. In the comics, every time Dr. Strange uses the Eye of Agamotto, it reveals a third eye in his forehead which gives him clairvoyance.
1:10 When you discover something dark and shocking and scary
Who else thinks sinister strange should’ve been the villain
That's a very underwhelming way for such a powerful character to go out
Not at all, dr strange is powerful and intelligent, while sinister strange was corrupted by power and ego, not thinking clearly. Makes a huge difference.
@@TheBaBaTV 616 Strange can pop supernovae like pez. I know MCU characters are as a rule weaker, but still.
He was potentially the most interesting thing in the film next to Zombie Strange and they waste him after one fight scene and a cheap jump scare. 😒
Slight change that would have made this scene better imo would have been to have both of them struggle to take the Darkhold telekinetically at first, but then to have 616 Strange let go in order to play the harp. This would have clarified that the reason why Sinister Strange lost was because he was too obsessed with the Darkhold’s power. It’s a small change, but I think it would have made big difference.
It literally already shows that. Sinister strange reaches for the dark hold and strange uses that distraction to hit him with the harp? Do you just want like zero subtlety?
@@MyName-Jeff Mmm I disagree, I think that it just shows that he was distracted and not much else. As it is, Sinister Strange was simply reaching for his best chance for victory in a very logical way. It doesn’t depict 616 Strange as being in any position to stop him hence why he was *forced* to look for another option - as opposed to having the clarity of mind to *choose* it. The interpretation of Sinister Strange being obsessed with the Darkhold in this scene as it is now relies heavily on preexisting tropes and the viewer reading into it their own familiarity of how cursed objects are supposed to work. Which is not necessarily bad, but if we are going to say that 616 Strange is somehow different from the others corrupted by the Darkhold, this *would* have actually been a subtle way to show it.
@@victorebell7383 I mean to me it seems the sorcerer supreme could do literally a thousand things with a free hand that would be more efficient than "reach for a book and stop paying attention to your opponent" so the only reasonable answer is the darkhold became an obsession for him (also evidenced by him clutching it like a teddy bear for most of his screen time) but yeah I guess we each take our own meaning from that scene.
@@MyName-Jeff Well, by that logic then 616 Strange must have been even more “obsessed” with the Machina de Kadavus in Spiderman: No Way Home, since he used *both* hands to get into a tug-o-war with Peter over it rather than the “literally thousands of other things” you allude to. It’s consistent with Strange’s character that he has a tendency to “go for the gold” in these sorts of situations. So I think that him exhibiting the same sort of behavior here says just as little about his level of “obsession” with this other magical object that he needs to acquire. What I think would definitely show it is a different version of himself being in the exact same situation and then choosing a different course of action.
@@victorebell7383 That is a pretty good point, but theres a huge difference between these two situations. In that case he had manipulated portals keeping peter parker busy (and by pulling on the machina he brought the portals together and sent peter flying, so he was doing two things at once while pulling), the machina de kadavus was the win condition vs his goal in this case was to kill his opponent, and he didn't want to hurt peter so he wouldn't use his magic to attack him. In that case Dr. Strange only wanted to do exactly what was necessary to get the machina and leave parker trapped. So the second he had the machina and portaled away he won, whereas sinister strange literally had the darkhold at the beginning of the fight and it wasn't an instawin.
Many people say this battle is not good but remember they showed a little bit of strange's power in this scene he took the music notes from a just a normal paper he can magically use a drawing as a weapon imagine there is sword or any other weapon on the papers
I love Strange vs Sinister Strange it's gotta be one of my favorite Deltarune boss fights
🐽🐽
Some of us expected Strange Supreme in this movie....
would have loved that but he is WAY stronger that our dr strange. he went toe to toe with infinity ultron and ultron before that fight slapped around the watcher like his name was freeza in the new broly movie.
There wouldn't even be a movie if Strange Supreme was here. The guy literally ate a universe ending explosion for breakfast. 😅
I was thinking Sinister Strange as Strange Supreme lol
I’m guessing the Nexus Event for Sinister Strange’s universe is that America Chavez never came to his universe.
I thought for this was gonna be doctor strange from what if?
Same
Bro dr strange wouldn't stand a chance against SUPREME strange.
Why the hell would you think that? Do you think that Dr. Strange from What if is evil, specially after the final episode? Are you stupid?

Back when the first Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness teaser trailer was released, it was widely speculated among fans that Sinister Strange was Strange Supreme, the alternate Doctor Strange seen in What If...?. However, when the film's official trailer was released, this theory was proven wrong when the character was confirmed to be named Sinister Strange. Even Benedict Cumberbatch disproved this theory some days ahead of the film's premiere.
Sinister Strange was originally thought by many to be the film's main antagonist, and was advertised as such. However he has only a few minutes of screen time. This was likely done to draw attention away from Wanda, who was the villain of the film.
Interestingly enough, both Sinister Strange and Strange Supreme shares some similarities such as the fact they descended into villainy by using dark magic due to their love for Christine Palmer. However, Sinister Strange is a grim representation of what Supreme Strange could become had he not redeem himself.
Ironically, Sinister Strange says the line "Things just got out of hand", which Charles Xavier claims was what the Supreme Strange of his universe said in terms of the incursion he had caused.
I'd probably snap too if I found out I was miserable in every universe
He's literally The Necromancer from The Hobbit...
I hated this movie but this scene was honestly one of the things I liked. Because 1) they canonly reference Donna Strange, who was one of the reasons why Dr Strange because a doctor. and 2) it shows that the What If Dr Strange episode is canon to the timeline of the film. And bonus that Benedict was fantastic in this scene.
welcome to the bullyverse
Modified Line (1:19-1:23)
Dr. Strange: I don't think she's going for that
Sinister Strange: Then things just got out of hand.
Brilliant scene
"Bringer of death! Destroyer of worlds! And wrecker if your shit!"
It skipped over the line that don’t talk about Donna it like we don’t talk about Bruno.
Now that is the real Fake Messiah follower at 1:11.The only thing missing is the word Deceiver
Dude imagine in a story
you got kidnapped by sinister strange and brought to his world would you stay there?
Everything in the movie happens very fast. There's a lot of things going on.

This is star trek reference right?!?
Speaking of Star Trek references, in the Illuminati scenes we basically got Khan, Picard and Pike in the same room.
@@vincenzomarino9206 is Black Bolt supposed to be Pike?

Are you kidding?
No, its not a star trek reference- he was talking about a _different_ Mr. Spock and Cres. 😑 like wtf
