Damage dealt 99% the only thing that the others did was to atack ultron from multiple directions to distract him, the only one that truly did damage were strange and zola.
Strange was limited to his actions of the future, just like how he seen his fight with Thanos was a losing fight Strange had no choice but do what he seen, if he did anything different the defeat of Thanos would've changed, hence he told Tony "If I tell you what happens, it won't happen!"

This goes to show that even if he’s all powerful,Ultron is still a computer. He “thinks” by running algorithms. The more they gave him to “think” about (using team work and weird moves) they essentially made him lag which is why I think he didn’t kill them all like he would one on one
This would work on a human, a machine's sense of time is different than ours. Our brain can only process information at a set speed making us see time at this speed, reason being is that our neural network only transfers information at a max speed of 230 mph. So it takes a little while for information to get processed, for example your vision takes about 50 milliseconds. Ultron's brain doesn't have this issue, it can process millions of times more information than our brain at a rate so much faster that by the time we throw something at him he has already thought of many different ways on how to handle us. That is what scary about AI, is the fact that it would see us moving slowly, very slowly. And while we slowly move towards it, it sits there and processes information and can basically predict every move you are about to make because it can see your movements before you're even halfway through what you're doing. I think Ultron in this situation would have just blown up the planet like he did with captain Marvel. Doctor strange is strong, but he is still a human and as a human he is restricted at how fast he can process information. It wouldn't be hard for Ultron to zap a beam of energy straight through Doctor Strange's head the instant he sees him.

He also didn't absorb the magical beings in mcu. The actual strange who didn't go rouge, isn't this powerful. Also Strange actually held his ground against Thanos with 5 stones in the movies, while he wasn't even trying to defeat him. So Strange is powerful in movies too.
This is him absorbing loads of demons and otherworldly demons and then he absorbed himself from.amother time line till he was string e ough to permanently erase a fixed mome t in time which was supposed to be impossible

I just noticed when black panther(starlord)(can't remember the guy's name) had the infinity stone the protection spell was active so it makes sense that he can hold it. Nice little detail

to be precise they didn't say "the stones won't work outside of THEIR universe" but "the stones won't work outside of THE universe" as at this point there was only one universe in the MCU.
that differentiation doesn't matter though cause ultron did use the stones outside of any universe vs. the watcher so the rules set up by loki should apply and stones therefore not work.
