What's your favorite prismatic hunter build so far?

a little something I've discovered works terrifyingly well in PvP: Khepri's Sting can cast your improved snare bomb from a grapple melee. I haven't been able to damage test in a controlled environment yet, but it seems to oneshot most guardians or leave them weak for a super easy cleanup, and can even get collateral kills on groups pretty easily.
another PvP synergy that I love is using Mask of Bakris in conjunction with blink, grapple, threaded specter, winter's shroud, and snare bomb. good radar manipulation and literally unrivaled movement. I went on so many killstreaks with that build because it's incredibly hard for enemies to pin you down. as an added bonus I was using Rat King, which is even better now that they changed the recoil animation, for health and invis after kills, letting me escape situations where I would otherwise get hunted down and teamshot, letting me flank around groups and pick off 1v3s with relative ease. and I'm not a particularly high-skill player, but what I lack in aim the build more than makes up for in allowing me to make the most of my game sense and movement ability while denying the enemy's game sense or ability to predict my movement.

If you use silkstrike super with the melee build, you can use renewal grasps for the exotic and you get frozen armor and woven mail.
I love using shroud aspect with combination blow and liars hand shake.its so fun.

@@DJ665G but ascension is terrible in difficult content. It's the last thing anyone should pick.
@@FlashesSoccer011 Depends I think. It immediately jolts things nearby which is great to deal with quick adds, I believe slightly staggers most majors, can deal with a champ, and grants you and allies Amplified. I see it less as a damage option and more as an "Oh shit" button where dodging might not get you out of whatever situation you're in.
You can also pair it with the new exotic chest that gives you damage resistance when enemies are jolted for more survivability.
Plus it's a sudo 4th jump for Hunters. I will never say no to more ups lol.
To Confirm Yes facet of courage does increase golden gun shot damage if the enemy is effected by stasis or strand debuff and the still hunt's super also benefits.

Sixth Coyote with the Winter/Executioner and Combination Blow is so fun. Pair it with a Slice Primary and you are constantly invisible!
i had the same idea with the helicopter build and it has been carrying me through the legend campaign (first time through)
used it in day 1 and we got to 4th

A really fun build I always wanted to try is the mask of bakris with blink in the crucible, I won't say it's meta but sure it's a lot of fun and annoying as hell hahaha
the melee build on hunter but with renewel grasps instead on top of strand super so you get like max damage resistance from multiple sources (frost armour, woven mail, 100 res, surrounded enemies and more while transcendent, etc. sure you lose out on melee damage a bit from liars, but you can so much damage resistance
Some cool builds! I'm currently using orpheus rigs tether prismatic build. Can I ask what build setup you have for the orpheus rigs in this vid (I couldn't see a link, sorry if I'm looking in the wrong place)
I pretty much carried my team through the legend campaign using lucky pants + malfeasance. Using duskfield and shurikens to slow and just delete elites with malfeasance. Helped a lot for the long fights where ammo was scarce

in harder content 100% but in easier content i noticed alot of the time the threadling spawned from the spectre kill alot of enemies robbing me of my melee kill and i end up in shambles lol , but thread spectre is really nice
Stylish gives added melee damage coming out of invis. Stylish also gives more control over who you target to build stacks
@@sarge8205I totally agree. I see so many people hyping up spirit of caliban on the exotic cloak for hunters but I don’t really get it. How’re you supposed to build combination blow when all the red bars are dead to explosions? Kinda the same with threaded specter in at level or lower content.

Thoughts on Liars with Foetracer?
Huge damage from the combination blow/liars build
25% damage buff to arc weapons from your melee. 25% buff from Radiant when you collect the orb from the melee.
Pair it with an Arc weapon with Golden tricorn such as Eleatic Principle for a 50% buff.
Easy to proc the 3 buffs together, get 1 kill with the arc LMG, 1 charged melee kill and you’ve got Radiant, Foetracer and Tricorn all proc.

I am thinking about spirit of gyrofalcon & dance boots. invis all the time and make them volatile all the time, kaboom and jolts all the time. will be fun.

Can confirm it does. Pulled this today. Haven’t tried it in anything with a lot of enemies so I’m not sure how much super it gives back. But did have it give half my super back during the seasonal activity

These things I will try, but I'm having a real hard time putting down Graviton Lance. It carried me through legendary, I think it may be the new Polaris Lance. Also, I think Tatara Gaze has THE best report of any sniper in the game, so glad I kept a couple
It's so good! Try it with the gyrfalcon's setup - it shreds! I was using it a lot in onslaught

If I’m running a Celestial/Golden I’m having Still Hunt as my weapons 100% of the time lmao.
Also huge tip: get a kinetic with attrition orbs to help with Caydes Retribution

It's midnight coup, tri to roll it with explosive payload and one for all, it's basically the most consistent roll for pve

Do you know that volatile round kill count as ability kills? So if you use gunpowder gamble you can charge the grenade pretty fast. So use stylish and gunpowder.

Hey I just want to let you know for the Prismatic Nighthawk build you have 6 fragments in the DIM build, even though the 2 aspects only allows 5 fragments. Facet of blessing should be removed.
Aspects: Ascension + Gunpowder Gamble. Threaded Spike + Duskfield
Fragments: Balance, Dawn, Hope, Protection, Purpose, Sacrifice
Exotic: Gifted Conviction
You lead with Ascension for damage resist then you keep it up with a voltshot weapon while also throwing out your melee and grenade as you please
It's extremely mid. The new hunter exotics and the ascension aspect are pretty bad in PVE

@@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4 the survivability is overrated, in my opinion. DR has diminishing returns in destiny. If you have max resilience, the additional 25% reduction really only amounts to like an extra 10% damage reduction. It's not worth using an exotic slot for that. Plus, it doesn't activate any other aspects of using your dodge. It has massive drawbacks and a mediocre benefit.
Frankly, everything hunters have received is abysmal compared to the other classes.
As a hunter main, I've been unbelievably disappointed with the new additions to the game.
The Liar's Handshake build DIM link is the wrong build...it's currently the Nighthawk build.
The text in the link is correct but, it still opens up the Nighthawk build.
The Liar's Handshake build is absolutely my favourite so far. I've been using it before seeing the video and the fact that you get health for basically nothing is just crazy, and freezing everyone around is just the cherry on top.
For the celestial build, the dim link shows 6 facets but we can only equip 5?

the bombardiers could be way crazier in a build i just built mine if you can check it out its crazy
question for you pattycakes! howcome you prefer Withering Blades to Threaded Spike? the tracking on the former always feels jank and the latter can have near infinite uptime if you get enough hits and catch it. I want to love Withering Blades but it always feels so hit-or-miss compared to Threaded Spike and does less damage too.
So I love Threaded Spike too but the one thing I'd say Withering has over it is the ability to throw it and have it still hit an enemy. What I mean is that with the Spike if it doesn't reach an enemy, it'll just fly right back to you. Withering Blades on the other hand I believe will travel straight until it hits something.
Especially in Boss encounters when you need to debuff the boss for the damage buff off the fragment, depending on the room and add density you may have a harder time throwing your Spike at the target you want to while Withering you can throw it in a straight line.
@@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4 yeah you're not wrong, and two charges can be nicer than one in some situations. Slow has more subclass synergy than Sever too though the latter is good for survivability. Still, at least for neutral game, I feel it's hard to beat the better damage and generally higher uptime of Threaded Spike outside of during Transcendence (and even then WB is sometimes too weak to proc something like Facet of Justice without both charges, whereas TS wouldn't be).

Where is the stasis build? It's in the video, but there is no DIM link.
Personally, my favourite prismatic melee is threaded spike. With facet of dawn, you get so much radiant, especially in lower end content, with a lot of ads eith it bouncing between them.
You can also get a lot of your melee energy back with it
GOLDEN GUN IS KINETIC, so the facet of courage doesn't affect its damage.
I have my combo blow for solo stuff and I use a thread spike/combo blow for group content, higher difficulties full melee will get ya cheeks clapped if you're not careful lol.
Still hunt is literally a more op zen meteor. Went back tond1 the models are nearly identical

Like even a person who don't own final shape can use prismatic (only in the first mission) you could use the exact same fragments and all of the stuff on the first build you can use it for free

Celestial golden gun is so much better as a straight solar build. You lose 25% of your super damage because you dont have the aspect on solar that buffs its damage when radiant.
That is on the Golden Gun itself.
Go to the Prismatic screen on the Goldie super and read what it says
"Benefits from beeing Radiant".
There is no Fragment or Aspect on Solar that Increases the Damage of Golden Gun

I also damage tested the new sniper. It does significantly more damage on solar while radiant than it does on prismatic

Just go and read the Aspects and Fragments in the Solar class yourself, there's no mention whatsoever of increased super damage.
Only the one that Increases Knives thrown with Blade Barrage.
The Part that makes Goldie stronger while Radiant is part of the Super itself, it will state that under both supers (In solar and prismatic sub class)

I certainly like prismatic and it pairs well with the final shape but after the novelty of it wore off I began to see some holes in prismatic well I guess that isn't the best way of describing as it is very strong but I feel like it just gets it strength from brute force and shoving as many elemental debuffs down enemies throats while juiced up with a bunch of our own buffs .it doesn't really have the synergy as a fully catered to subclass would. and a hate having to be a cynic I really do but bungie has time ND time again given me a no reason to stop. As it really that hard to fathom a situation where bungie Just shoved all are old subclasses together and painted them w a prismatic overcoatj😮 all in order to build hype and reverse public discourse
Which in a way is understandable like this feel like if not the end to destiny then the end of era of destiny for sure so why not go all out right?
For me thou I just think about the possibilities a brand new from the bottom up subclass could have brought. And I feel like is a heavy trade off

@@bekfistwolf8248 Threaded Spike is always the go-to for me. Damage output reduction, hits tons of enemies, gives melee energy back when caught (and I believe refunds based on enemies hit/killed). On top of doing really good damage? I don't know why so many rather have damage front loaded on punching with Combination Blow. Punching things was fun when Scarlet Keep came out but after a single season of use, it's a boring playstyle.

At least it’s better than Arc hunter at what it’s supposed to do best lol. But yeah, unless I’m missing something, in a lot of cases it’s probably just better to run a normal subclass with their respective builds.
@@jaden577the problem is than at bungie they tought than only titans are allowed to use melee / close range viable build for endgame content as well. Most of the solo run were done with solar/void melee titan builds, one season of good arc melee build for the hunter and the broke the liar's handshake
I wish the grenades werent class locked, or atleast let us change what type of grenade is thrown, like a hybrid solar/stasis swarm grenade that sticks into ebemies and applies their respective debuff
@Splaffy-0- I made a similar comment after finishing the campaign. Like I hope in the future they expand on the transcendence grenades. It would be cool to have a few different options. It seems odd to lock specific damage types and debuffs to specific characters while in transcendence.
Like the hunter is the only one that gets scorch or ignition, warlock is the only one that gets suppression, and titans are the only ones that get jolt or suspend.
