- Jameson Williams is an NFL wide receiver who plays for the Detroit Lions. When playing for The Alabama Crimson Tide, he tore his ACL in the college National Championship game against The Georgia Bulldogs. Despite recovering from his injury, the Detroit Lions drafted him in the 2022 NFL Draft at pick number 12 overall.
Jameson Williams' time with the Detroit Lions has been a roller coaster ride. He didn't see the field much during his rookie season due to recovering from his injury. He was slowly getting worked into the offense during that season.
Things were looking good leading into his second season, however, he was given a suspension for gambling on Detroit Lion's property. The suspension was originally for 6 games, however after the NFL reviewed their policy, they reduced his suspension in time for their Week 5 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
The Detroit Lions slowly worked Jameson Williams into their offense, and after showing maturity and playing for the team, he started to get more reps. By the end of last season, Jameson Williams really showed why he was drafted 12th overall.
Coming into this 2024 season, all signs are pointing to Jameson Williams having a breakout season. Enjoy The video. Cheers

Love that every single time Jamo gets asked about his goals, he says he doesn’t have any individual goals, he just wants to win. Been rooting for him since we got him, because he is a very unique player. Flat out burner with zero prima donna in him, which shows in his blocking both near the line and downfield.
I expect the proverbial 3rd year breakout season for this young man.

I got him as just a thrown in in a trade in a Dynasty league by somebody who had given up on him. I traded this years 5th pick in the draft for him and got the 10th pick where I picked up Brian Thomas Jr. So Basically I got Jamo and Brian Thomas Jr. for the 5th pick where I was going to pick Xavier Worthy but honestly after looking at tape I think I might like both Thomas and Jamo as much or more than Worthy, but both together for sure.
He went off tonight a bit! It’s definitely his season!

Each season of his career has been bad, training camp is going bad, why would anyone believe that is going to change? This is the first lapse of judgment by Brad Holmes. Glaring issue at the receiver spot when your 2nd best wr is inconsistent, performs poorly, and can't even improve in practice. Jamo is a bust. He drops half of his targets. This might be the most anticipating season we all been dreaming of. And really its because of him. The suspension was such bull, especially looking at the chiefs rashee rice committed an actual crime and has yet to face any consequences. (Not to mention the first sponsor you see every nfl game is draft kings 🙄) but I am really looking forward to Jamo to kill it for us this year!
