Those can sing and play. The harmonies are unbelievable. You will, like everyone, love all of their songs. They are arguably the most talented all around band in rock history.
Every single member of The Eagles was also a singer. These guys really didn't slack off when it came to their vocal work! Take a listen to Seven Bridges Road if you want a sample of all of them singing and harmonizing perfectly. And then when you want to be absolutely blown away by a single vocalist, watch Queensryche - Take Hold of the Flame, live. I mean it... Queensryche. Your ears will never forget that vocalist once you hear him!
The guitarist wearing the bandanna is JOE WALSH. He started his career by replacing TWO guitarists for the JAMES GANG (Funk #49, The Bomber, Walk Away), then he started BARNSTORM (Turn To Stone, Help Me Through the Night; Rocky Mountain Way) and then he joined THE EAGLES, along with the other lead guitarist, Don Felder, to give them a more rock feel. Joe has also done a lot of solo work (LIfe's Been Good, A Life of Illusion, The Confessor). If you want to hear the singer's voice again, I recommend an early song of theirs, WITCHY WOMAN... as his voice matches the lyrics perfectly. "Raven hair, and ruby lips, sparks fly from her fingertips...." AND Joe met the sister of Ringo Starr's wife (Marjorie Bach, sister to actress Barbara Bach) and so Joe and Ringo are now brothers in law. They did a good song for Ringo called POSTCARDS FROM PARADISE, which includes a lot of Beatles song titles in the lyrics: ruclips.net/video/keOVBQXZdtU/видео.html

The dueling guitars between Joe and Don is probably the most iconic match made in heaven guitar solo battle ever. The Eagles and their harmonies is what keeps me coming back over and over and over!!!🤘🤘🤘🇨🇦. This video is from a live concert in 1977 from DC. It takes a special kind of musician to be a lead singer/drummer like Don Henley. The guitarists are Don Felder with the dual-neck guitar, Joe Walsh with the red bandana, Glenn Frey on the acoustic guitar, and Randy Meisner on bass. Each one can be lead singers on any given day of the week which makes the Eagles a special kind of band, and one of the greatest.
This is the music I grew up on. The Eagles were a great 70's band with so many hit songs. They were known for their great harmonies. "Take It Easy", "Lyin' Eyes", "Witchy Woman", "Desperado", "Already Gone", "Best of My Love", "One Of These Nights", "Take It To The Limit", "New Kid In Town" etc. Before they went solo they were the back up band for Linda Ronstadt.
Ah, The Eagles. ALL of them are incredibly talented, and while this song is iconic, they have much more goodness in their catalog. If you're up for a deep dive, you'll end up in heaven several times !
New Kid In Town called one of the best songs ever made , Bob Dylan. So much great songs like Best Of My Love, One Of These Nights and Take it Easy etc.
First time hearing this song was when I lived in Santa Cruz California riding my skate board from house party to house party everyone was playing it, what a time it was for a teenager, long hair smokin doobies getting tail it was 76 or early 77.
