You're awesome, I'm glad I found you
Thank you very much! I've just started learning Maya, but these are the best lessons I've found!
FINALLY!!! I'm so happy you put this up thank you!!!
So glad you like it Raul! :)
Love your channel. You always begin with a clean hypershade graph network. Easy for me to follow
Sometimes you have to start with a simple hypershade! :) Glad it was helpful, Ken, and thank you for your comment!
I'm so love your channel like your videos
Thank you Jayseelan. I really appreciate your comment and support!
I got a clear view of ai standard material,
thankyou.
Once you start understanding aiStandard material, you start to understand how powerful it is. :)
Love your tutorials!
Thank you so much Katerine! I hope it helps you become a stronger artist. :)

Hey, Stumbled across this tut, brilliant, I have one question, in the isolate selected it just turns black when i click on the mix or AO node ? any ideas many thanks in advance
how to handle a huge scene?
is it using reference editor is fine to keep up with the performance of you system? or some other method
Referencing your items will help. If it gets really extensive, you'll probably want to render in layers. So characters in one, background in another, so on. It'll render faster that way.
@@AcademicPhoenixPlus Thank you...
Can u explain how open an exr file in photoshop, Is there anyway around it without using a plugin?
Hi,
Can you make a tutorial on how to isolate a refection of an object from the floor (similar to shadow isolation) so you can easily composite the object on a different background/floor in PS or AE
Hi John, Thank you for your comment. I think that's a great suggestion! Separating elements like reflections definitely help with compositing. I'll add it to my list. Thank you for the suggestion!
Can you make some videos on procedural texturing ? please
Hi Muhammad, thank you for your comment. I have a lot of tutorials for precedural texturing. Check out my playlist!

Always Pleasure :)
Can you make a tutorial about how to solve the rampshader problem? It's not supported anymore since Arnold were implemented. I could figure out how to do it, but I still see a lot of people having trouble with it.
That's a good suggestion. Thank you! I'll add it to my list. :)
Wow! This is awesome. Thank you. I want to ask. Do you show how to render AOV's as I haven't seen all your vids. Thanks again.
Hi Domenico, Thank you for your comment and support! I have been meaning to do an AOV tutorial, so keep an eye on that soon!

Thanks Monica :-)
How do you preview the node you're working on? I click on ambient occlusion node and still see the end result of the mix instead of just the ambient occlusion (Nvm, Isolate selected in Arnold Render view)
Nice job troubleshooting, James! :)
Thank you! I'm going to use this technique on my next project (:
I would love to see your project, Pine!
hello
We can only use aiAmbientOcclusion with mixshaders or we can apply it to all our scene?
Im asking because i used the classic texture AO for every object (and now i don't understand if i must use textures or aiAO) and that is something new for me
Hi JS Powers, thank you for your comment. You can definitely apply AO to your whole scene if you want to. Do you mean, rendering out just an occlusion scene? Here is a video on how to do it: ruclips.net/video/1ZyGqhpw4XY/видео.html around the 2:20 mark. Just ignore the render layers, and apply to the whole model instead... Hopefully that's what you are looking for!
Exporting AO textures are great if you want to add them into your textures, or use them as reference to add detail in your model.
I hope that helped!
Thanks Ad...
Thank you Hung!

Thanks for a really friendly tutorial! How did you manage to dock the Arnold render window like that? I cant seem to do that. thanks!
Thanks again, Itia. As for docking the Arnold render window, I made a tutorial for just that: ruclips.net/video/1clOGFbRo5Q/видео.html
I hope this helps your work flow. (it helps me) :)
