Hey just a tip if you wanna avoid heat use at all you should look into African hair threading I would recommend doing this at night for when you wanna get that natural blowout look ready for the morning before your beading period

PLEASE HELP ! We have similar hair textures and I happen to be severely tenderheaded.and get frustrated cus of pain and slap a relaxer in it to ease the pain any advice cus I love my natural naps but the pain is horrendous!!
Keep your natural hair stretched and/or in gentle plaits. Look up healthy stretching methods.

Moisture, and braiding it up with the rest of your hair. Also, be careful of the wraps/covers you put on your hair....they can and will snatch your hair out. Your nape is just like the rest of your edges

Weekly deep conditioning with heat and lock in moisture with oil/butter/cream should help

@@annariley4048 may I add I am over 50 and I started my Natural journey nearly 8yrs ago own my own but only began to involve and ask The Holy Spirit, who knows all for help, after year 4, who is Our Helper. And He has since then been leading and guiding me and my hair have soooo flourished! Yes, I began to pray to God about my hair in Jesus Name. The Spirit brought to my mind, if God knows the number of hairs on our head then He cares about them as well. My scripture references are 1st Corthinians 11:15, Psalms 55:22 and Luke 12:7. I heard that it’s not a good idea to use the blow dryer without the attachment. The medal part directly touching your hair isn’t healthy for your hair. This is just what I heard lol just wanted to pass it along.
