This was probably one of the most awkward moments in the entire Seinfeld series. When I first saw this episode I was both surprised and laughing at the same time. George and Jerry's quick exit was probably the most comical I had ever seen.
I know Heid Swedberg's portrayal of Susan was widely criticized (even by Jason Alexander!). But I thought her playing it perfectly straight was a good apposition to everyone else.
@@spenser9908 he apologized already. He said that her straight acting make things more difficult for him on their scenes together, but it was unfair to expect her to be funny with what she was given. I feel they should've made her character be Mr Kruger's wife. For some reason, I think those two should go together. Maybe it's that evil-funny smile, or being half-oblivious to the conversation while making sarcastic remarks 😅
Susan's parents were played by truly magnificent actors- Warren Frost and Grace Zabriskie. True character actors in the best sense of the word. SO WEIRD to see them both in Twin Peaks!!!!
This is a parody of Home Before Dark, a book describing Cheever's bisexual lifestyle based on letters found after his death published by his daughter Susan.
"Who's John? Who's John?? I want to know who John is!!!" She didn't get this upset when her teenage daughter Laura was killed and found wrapped in plastic.
2:35 Susan’s hairband & bob-length cut looks cute on her 😘 especially with her dangling earrings sitting nicely just below her bob. This would still look good worn today.
Does George really believe he can escape all responsiblity in life by saying, "I had bad parents!" At some point you would think he couldn't blame Frank and Estelle Costanza forever.
funny how he was cherishing the cabin for 45 years since his dad died in 1958 which would mean that convo took place in 2003, after the show was off the air🤣
The way Mrs. Ross takes such delight in the cabin's destruction. And when Aunt Sarah says "I KNEW it!".
Yes those two parts. 😆
What about them?
I loved when she said that too😁
@@violamateo she probably knew he was on the down-low too and just didn't care.

An underrated moment when Mrs. Ross mimicks her husband.
Didn't care for that, really. I would have told her to cut it and done another take.
I love how quick her dad just comes clean and opens himself with such an appasionate sincerity, even in front of his wife.
