What a great review ! Loved the comparison from G 425 to G 430. I actually have them both in my bag. Adjusted the lofts so I have the 3, 4, 5, and 7 Woods. ( I added the G 430 Max 3 Wood and the G 430 Max 5 Wood. Then I took the G 425 Max 5 wood and dropped the loft down to 4 Wood land. Already had the 7 Wood in G 425 Max. So I have the best of both worlds. I do have the G 425 Max 9 Wood too :) What can I say. Love my Ping Woods. :). I absolutely loved your review. You had so much excitement and energy in delivering it and you really hit on some things that I noticed too such as the face not being quite as compressed. I was a little concerned with that because the compressed face has always been my salvation . Forgiveness and ability to sweep the ball off the turf are important and being a senior golfer my swing speed is the lower end of the spectrum. So far though I have not noticed an issue. Difference in sound believe it or not I have not even noticed. Sound from the G 425 world never has bothered me at all. I will also mention though being a senior golfer I play with senior flex shafts. This year the Ping senior flex shafts are a little lighter than last years. The G 430 Max wood at least to me appear to have a different feel to them. Could be the difference in senior flex shafts . That being said I like the way both generations feel. So its not a negative. I do however like the feel of the way the ball comes off of the G 430 Max a little better. I play golf almost every day so the test will continue as I have only had the two G 430s a few days now. .The new G 430 Max 3 Wood has been a lot of fun the last few days. Coming off of the fairway like a rocket when I hit it. I am actually stunned by the power of it. Its great to have a 3 wood in the bag thats easy to hit.

I love my G430 Max-7 wood. Oban purple shaft..it goes 220 to 224 yards , Brilliant...and I,m well over 60..
also using the Hybrids 4 and 5.. 430 g. max. also stunningly good . Thank you PING !!!

Great review. I have a natural cut and sometimes slice. I bought the G430 SFT and it has worked wonders. I can put a slice swing on it and it turns into a baby fade. These clubs are unbelievably forgiving.
They are too draw equipment
@@thegolfsupply Indeed. I’m hitting them straight and also hitting draws. But on the occasional out to in swing with an open face will minimize that slice into a fade. Iv never hit anything like it.

Personally I love my G425 woods (Driver, 3 wood, and hybrid) I also prefer the looks of them. Won’t be changing this year!
Must admit I had a sharp intake of breath, when you let one of the new drivers bounce off the tarmac pathway, and then said that they look beautiful, well if you keep letting them hit tarmac/ concrete, then they won’t look good for long.

Your hitting G430 higher because it’s a 16 degree head vs the G425 you have is a 14.5 head show at the 9:23 min mark in your video.
Actually, the max in the G430 is 15, not 16.
@@Robert-sg9nr No it is clearly a 16 take a look at the video at 9:23 minute mark it is set at Neutral. But thanks for the reply.
16 degree is the SFT, 14.5 is the max in g425 and g430

Can you tell me if the G430 Max 5 Wood has scoring lines on the face or is the face flat smooth? I see there’s two versions online when I google.
I just received my G430 3 wood, is it adjustable with the torque wrench? I can't seem to adjust it
