Get a meat thermometer to test the meat for doneness 160° & if possible do your side dishes the day before so you don't spend all day cooking. Good luck!
Good job young lady. I had bought a butterball turkey roast for the first time. Looked at your tutorial /realized from the beginning you knew what you are doing. My roast is in the oven now for dinner. I liked how we removed that awful netting and seasoned the roast. I also liked how you informed us about the fast cooking time. Thank you so much!
I love the way you explain everything as you go and leave in the “error”, if you will, so we can learn too. Looks delish! You should, if you can, edit it to reference your gravy video from these drippings. Gotta have Gravy!
Thank you, you saved my Thanksgiving! I work midnights and got off this morning. I really didn't want to fool with a whole turkey, your recipe saved the day and time! It was delicious!
As a young adult looking to try new things and get out of cooking the same 3 or 4 meals, I really appreciate that you went over the whole experience from freezer to table. Never cooked any bird by myself and when my mom would cook one, I was the one to help set up and washing dishes, so I've never even helped with the cooking process, but I saw bone in turkey breast on sale at the grocery store and decided to learn how to cook something new while it was cheap. It's in the oven now, I'll let you know how it comes out!
Yum! What a delicious-looking piece of meat. Oh, my, I can't wait to eat mine; it's 2021, and I'm cooking one now, on Thanksgiving Day. Unfortunately, my family relationship is strained, but I'm peacefully enjoying myself. Thanks for the review.
Since I found your video, I follow the recipe and the results always its so delicious!!! the only I make different is I mix the species with the butter 👌👌👌👌👌really we thank you for share the idea!!!! have a good and great thanksgiving and holidays
First video I've seen someone washing it Thank u 😊 I don't know why they don't wash meat but I quess it's there thing not where I come from but thank u
Very nice.. tySm! Home alone today and was looking to do something a little easier than the whole bird, since I did get a breast last week. This was very nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked! Nice & tender. I added a little cayenne too.. Girrrrrl.. Thanks again, and Happy Thanksgiving 😊 💕
You don't have to rinse your turkey, it won't make any difference contamination of any bacteria is just cooking it well done 👏 is well 👌 serve. Those seasons are awesome 👌
What she is saying is that the cooking process kills all the bacteria if cooked to the correct temperature. Cleaning you meat is just an added step. You actually put all the bacteria in your sink and drain so be sure to clean your sink after as well if you do.
Look if your Dollar Tree carries Tony Chacere's Creole seasoning. It make the best oven roasted potato wedges ever. The vinegar wash works on any poultry, whole or cut up. Just be sure to use a light massaging technique then rinse really well. I flavor the gravy packet with a splash of Marsala and add a cup of water then pour it around the breast piece but not on top. It wll reduce a bit and cook out the alcohol. Do not add salt.
I got the Jenni-o 1. So I can season it to my liking ??? It says it’s ready to go & seasoned.. & I just don’t know lol I was in a hurry didnt realize which 1 I grabbed. But this looks good ! Asf
I was in the midst of an anxiety attack, cooking my first Thanksgiving dinner for 12 people until I found this video. Thank you!
I'm so glad it helped you. Deep breaths. You got this. It'll be ready when it's ready. Lol

I have never seen a recipe for a well cleaned and disinfected turkey! I like! it😂!
Beginners should use a thermometer to test if meat is done. A pro like you and me can judge by touch. Great tut! 😊
Lol
Thank you!
Those Reynolds oven bags work too.
OMG, I love all your technical talk about cooking like seeing how it feels for being done .... Thank you for being REAL.... YOU ROCK!
Thanks!
Made this tonight, my fiancè was so impressed and said it was cooked perfectly 🤪🙌🏾🙌🏾
Yay!!! 🥰
I'm impressed with your turkey cleaning skills
You got my mouth watering over here🤤 That looks so flame🔥

Thank you for this. I'm now on keto and your video is perfect for me. ❤️

Great tutorial I swear by using a meat thermometer turkey cooks perfect every time.
Thanks for the tip! I don't own a meat thermometer, although I probably should.
@DanielleLaShawn from the looks of that turkey you don't need one ! 😋😆

I’m happy it helped. Enjoy your holiday!
Good job, Danielle; You are a real queen in the kitchen.
Thank you so much!
That's what Puerto Ricans do, we use vinegar or lemon juice to clean meat but mainly vinegar.
Acid definitely helps!
Thank you I brought a turkey breast for thanksgiving. 👍🏾
I recommend it for smaller crowds. It’s so much easier to cook.
Thank you Danielle! I love spicy food. Looks dee-licious! I'm going to to try a Butterball turkey breast.👍
Hope you like it!
It looks delish. Why didn’t you baste it with the beautiful juices? Great job. I’m going yo make this.
It's tender without basting, so I just never do. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to, though!
This is perfect if you don't wanna make a whole turkey for Thanksgiving 💙💙🐔🐓🦃🍁🍂
Yes! I haven't made a whole turkey in years. We can't ever eat it all.
Yes you use stickbutter let it soften up
All those spices on the meat looks so delicious
😋🤤
Delicious...thank you explaining how to cut the meat😊
You're welcome!
This is my come to turkey vid lol thanks girl! Happy Holidays 😊
Happy holidays!
I bet it would be sooooo juicy and tender if I put it in a cooking Reylonds bag? What do you think?
Oh, for sure!
You don't have to rinse your turkey, it won't make any difference contamination of any bacteria is just cooking it well done 👏 is well 👌 serve. Those seasons are awesome 👌

@@DanielleLaShawn rinse ALL meats
What?!? Yes it does! Lol you should always rinse meat before cooking

I've never had cream of wheat but I'm getting tired of oat meal I'll have to try this
It's so good. Lol
@@DanielleLaShawn finally somebody besides my siblings and I that eat cream of wheat!

I'm already hip. Lol I put it on everything I can bc I love it. My kids think it's spicy though. 🙄
@@DanielleLaShawn ....I've read that kids have super sensitive taste buds and the reason why they dislike so many things.
Am I the only one who likes Turkey breast more than chicken breast 🤔
When done well, they're both delicious 😋
Thank you
May I ask where did you get the gravy that goes on top at the end of the video? From the juice of the turkey?
Yes. The video for the gravy is also on my channel.
Thanks!! I will cook mine now
Hope it turned out good!
Thanks I love this.
You're welcome 😊
Thanks for sharing! This was a wonderful tutorial. Would the cooking time/temp be the same if roasting the turkey breast in a dutch oven?
I would think so... I've never used a dutch oven so I'm guessing. Lol
I got the Jenni-o 1. So I can season it to my liking ??? It says it’s ready to go & seasoned.. & I just don’t know lol I was in a hurry didnt realize which 1 I grabbed. But this looks good ! Asf
Yes, you can definitely still season it. Maybe just go lighter on the saltier seasonings. They probably added mostly salt.
I got mine from the Aldi also!
I love ALDI. It's my fav
That’s a juicy looking turkey 😍
Thanks!
I’m trying this Thanksgiving it’s look so good
Hope you love it!!
That looks really good.
Thank you!
That look delicious 😋 I’m do this for Thanksgiving 🦃
I'm sure you'll love it! So much easier than making a while turkey.
@@DanielleLaShawn yes indeed
Did you cooked it covered or uncovered?
Uncovered
Thank you.
You're welcome!
👍🏻
After you seasoning you should have let it rest at least 12 hours bottom of yo fridge
I have a question ı got skinless breast shall ı cover ıt wıth foıl when ı cook it
I would probably cover it for some if the time sonthat it doesn't dry out on top
@@DanielleLaShawn thankyou
You should get a meat thermometer. That way no second guessing ☺️
True
You sterilize the meat and then put the seasoning on with your bare hands?
Is that a rhetorical question??
@@DanielleLaShawn 😂😂
She very clearly stated that she washed her hands...
Mayonnaise will work just as well as butter
I didn’t hear you say the temp
Most likely I cooked it at 350.
Do you have Caribbean background?
I don't. Would be cool if I did though. Lol
I was wondering the same thing, based on how you cleaned the meat.
@@grandslam0183 same
@@DanielleLaShawn I followed your recipe for Christmas and it came out tasty..did it today for Easter as well.
@@DanielleLaShawn did you use the gravy pack?
Never knew that tip about cutting against the grain. Thanks. That looks amazing by the way.
