Get a meat thermometer to test the meat for doneness 160° & if possible do your side dishes the day before so you don't spend all day cooking. Good luck!

Good job young lady. I had bought a butterball turkey roast for the first time. Looked at your tutorial /realized from the beginning you knew what you are doing. My roast is in the oven now for dinner. I liked how we removed that awful netting and seasoned the roast. I also liked how you informed us about the fast cooking time. Thank you so much!

I love the way you explain everything as you go and leave in the “error”, if you will, so we can learn too. Looks delish!

As a young adult looking to try new things and get out of cooking the same 3 or 4 meals, I really appreciate that you went over the whole experience from freezer to table. Never cooked any bird by myself and when my mom would cook one, I was the one to help set up and washing dishes, so I've never even helped with the cooking process, but I saw bone in turkey breast on sale at the grocery store and decided to learn how to cook something new while it was cheap. It's in the oven now, I'll let you know how it comes out!

Look if your Dollar Tree carries Tony Chacere's Creole seasoning. It make the best oven roasted potato wedges ever. The vinegar wash works on any poultry, whole or cut up. Just be sure to use a light massaging technique then rinse really well. I flavor the gravy packet with a splash of Marsala and add a cup of water then pour it around the breast piece but not on top. It wll reduce a bit and cook out the alcohol. Do not add salt.
