In this video, I embark on the SECOND trip down to Southern California and load up another 26' Uhaul of items for us to sell. There's a ton of work involved in moving this much stuff, and unlike the first trip, this one did NOT go smooth and I was faced with a very dangerous situation.

I bet Jim is relieved to have this stuff gone. Having that much inventory in the house must of been overwhelming and stressful for him. Those sterility containers are junk. We used them in our big move, and they just folded into themselves. Just junk. Glad you are ok and made it home safe.
Yeah, not made for too much weight. I prefer the black/yellow totes but I’ve even had those collapse too, with heavy boxes above them in stacks.

Ahhh the grapevine I have driven that route many times 5 to the 99 then 198 home to Visalia not home anymore, San Diego is now my home for the last 37 yrs.

PS: icy/snowy back roads and a big ol' truck aren't ideal, so sorry you had to go through that. We have some treacherous roads like that in NZ country, so I get it.

Our son was allergic to furry animals, so he had a pet snake that got away in our house and ended up in his sister’s bedroom. We heard a scream and we knew where the snake had slithered off to! Thankfully, he out grew the allergy and no more snakes!

Mountain driving can be mentally exhausting, especially when you add in icy roads and a big U-Haul truck! Eeek! Not sure about a pet snake….it could make for interesting Monday night auctions though! 😅
My arms were literally weak by the end, but not from physical work. I think the adrenaline and stress shot my nervous system and arms went limp. It was a really crazy experience.

Im surprised you don't buy yourself a warehouse to store your inventory.
2,000 sq ft warehouse starts at $750,000 in this part of the country. Not economically feasible for me.
Locker nuts I have a garden in Wales UK and it's over four thousand square feet. With my house and the land it would cost you to buy,265000,pounds UK . So that warehouse cost is really expensive.

How about using the plastic wrap you have on the Christmas story box, and wrap it like a present? The box is rough, but if you can get the wrap tight enough, it might support it well.
