- You think you have a "Standard Sliding Glass Door", Wrong, there is no such thing. There are 289 Different Roller Assemblies used in sliding glass doors. We will go over most of the different types you could have. slidingglassdoo... for more parts.
Glass Dr in PSL, FL is getting $240.00 per door and that is pre-paid. I watched this guy's video and spent $18.00 per door. Granted, I am not a professional and I had to make a couple of trips to the store... $36.00 vs $480.00 is worth some "sweat equity."

not THAT WAS a complete guide to sliding door rollers! I watched the whole thing & will use this as a guide when i remove my door today in order to replace the roller assembly! I will now know what to look for in order to get an exact replacement.

My rollers don't have an obvious adjustment!!! No holes on the inside or outside.
Down below the handle there is something that looks like a large round aluminum pop rivet, with a dead-end round hole in it big enough to insert a #2 Phillips screwdriver; and it is in a vertical slot so maybe it indicates the roller height? Below and to the left, near the edge of the frame, is a small retaining screw.
On the lower corner away from the handle there is a single hole - that I can insert a bamboo probe several inches into without encountering anything resembling a screw. Maybe there was once a large screw there, but it fell out?
I suspect I might be able to adjust away my problems if only I could find an adjustment. Also, I anticipate problems removing the door if I cannot withdraw the rollers.
Hopefully one of your 289 different roller assemblies resembles the ones that are now vexing me.
Please, can you make any helpful suggestions?

How possible is to adapt a different roller and make it work? assuming size is not that different! !
Hi have an 8ft door and can’t find the rollers. How can I adapt a roller to fit. Most of the ones I see have a bottom adjustment screw. My door has a top screw and 2 wheels. Help
They made so many different rollers good luck finding them needle in a hay stack

My roller is 2nd row 3rd from the top. In your video you never explained how to install it. Can you help? Having alot of trouble. Came out really easy now having trouble putting it back in. NEED HELP PLEASE!!
You need to go to slidingglassdoorparts.com and click on the RED HELP BOX and fill out the web form and submit pictures so I can see what you actually have. I have a hundred people a month tell me they see their roller assembly and about 5% are actually right. Just take the time to send us pictures of what you have so we can assist you in figuring out what you have.
Do u sell the various door gaskets found in aluminum slideding door like the felt vein. That go vertical on sided of door and tje sanfwich type that is hold in a triangle track. Vertical too but sits on front and bk of the door dandwich by a vertical piece about 2 inches that hold it up. Thx let me know.

Hi, i am in need of your help to tell me which sliding glass door rollers i need to purchase for my sliding glass doors. They are approx. 1975' installed, metal wheels that are 1 1/4",, 4' wide glass doors (each door x 2 doors = an 8' opening). The glass has a stamp on it saying Arm-R-Clad, can you please tell me the proper replacement wheels to buy?. Thank you i advance, Duke

Do the rollers on top need to be adjusted?
There are NO Rollers to adjust on top of ANY Sliding Glass Patio Door..... Peachtree Citation and Carvel have Horz. Nylon Guide Wheels None Are Adjustable. Patio Doors only has wheels on bottom of door. Some 1990's Capital doors did have wheel assemblies on both ends, that was so you could flip door direction without flipping wheels. The doors weigh 85lb. and up. What would be a need to have wheels on top, NONE whatsoever. ALL SLIDING GLASS PATIO DOORS wheels sit on a 1/4" BOTTOM RAIL in the Sill Plate, one set on each end of bottom rail of door, that's it. We also would like to let you know, due to China Virus Plague, China Screwing with Taiwan and Hong Kong (where most of this stuff is made) and Socialist Riots and burning down major U.S. cities, many wheel assemblies are in short or no supply and unavailable currently from manufactures and may never come back. You may thank the Socialist Marxist for the non availability of these products and toilet paper.Good luck with fixing your door. As far as being OVER TAXED, if the Socialist win 2020 election, you have no idea of what overTAXED is. This business is Closing and Retiring Nov. 3rd. 2020 no matter the outcome (what better fitting day to do it) and will no longer provide Sliding Glass Door Parts and Actual Help Repairing Your Door as I have done for many, many 1000's since 2007.

Pretty worthless. Need help on REMOVING the darned door. Will Not go above the bottom rail to remove. Once I get it off, I can figure out what part is needed (once I can see the type roller). thanks for the effort, but online I can see your products.
You have to remove the glass panel that dosn't slide. Only a couple screws holding it in. Remove that and then open the slider all the way and pull it out that way
@@Highnz57 somehow we got the door over that rail. Now having trouble putting it back on. I am trying to replace the roller which is the second row third from top. They came out really easy but not going back in easy. Can you help me??
@@jennifernuss78 maybe. There should be a low spot on the track, where the rollers can get over. On one of mine, it was towards the back of the track (all the way open) and on another it was towards the front (almost all the way closed) . If I can get one roller over the track, I can finagle the rest of it over. There might be about half inch of play at the top also. I used a couple screwdrivers and pieces of wood to wedge the door up as far as I could.

@@onou81also I have a southern draw also. That's not the problem, the sound that this video produced sucks. I have watched several in the last 1 1/2 hours. This sucks, you need to try to get it fixed. I promise it is not your southern draw.
