I thought it would be something different, but the only difference is how the size of everything has been scaled up: big bobber, big hook, big weight, big line, and so on. Well done video.

When you buy the packs like I have in this video. You’ll get small red beads and the bobber stop knot on a black peg. Step 1)Put your main line through the hole on the peg where the bobber stop knot is. Step 2) Slide the bobber stop knot off of the peg. Step 3) pull both of the excess strings(tightens knot) Step 4) cut off the excess string from the knot and the peg. I hope this helps. If you’re still having trouble, let me know and I’ll make a video on how to do it! Fish on my friend.

I've always used light monofilament and tie a prusik knot.

What size bobber are you using to float an ounce?

      10” to 12” is what I use!

@quickcatchandrelease I bought a couple 8" the other day and have ordered a few packs of very EVA foam ones on temu, hoping the biggest they have will float an ounce. I found a HUGE one a year or more ago in a pond. Took me an hour to fish it out using a Devil's Horse topwater lol. It is 10-12 inches long and huge diameter. I thought whoever was using was dumb, but now I am learning the true magic of slip floats from crappie fishing and your channel for cats!

8” bobbers should work! I used to think the same thing about big floats until I tried it and learned! Thanks for sharing and commenting my friend!
