i don't think the new great weapon fighting style is as bad as it's made out. if you're using a maul or a greatsword, one of the weapons with a 2d6 dmg die, the minimum damage you can do is 6.
Exactly, and that’s not including your Strength modifier. Like I said in the video, it’ll speed up combat, which I think was the main reason for the change.
I’m so sad because I wanted to make a barbarian who uses the unarmed fighting style… back to the drawing board I guess
You’d have to multiclass to get a Fighting Style. One level of Fighter should do it!
