I had no idea that the Samsung Flow app existed. Thanks for the video. I can't wait to see your Galaxy Z Fold 3 review. I'm picking mine up in 2 weeks.
Thanks, Dominick. Also, Samsung has not yet announced the pricing of the Z Fold 3 in my country, I am hoping for it will be around 1800 USD otherwise, for small channels like ours, it will be difficult to afford one. Fingers crossed.
@@TechGuyCharlie Are Samsung devices more expensive in your country? Even though $1800 isn't cheap it's still better than the initial price of the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Samsung has some major discounts with a trade in through their website. I like to keep my old device as a backup so I'm so going to purchase it from my carrier.
Thank you so much for your easy to understand explanation. This is a perfect solution for transferring photos from my Samsung. Now I do not have to fight with MS Photo App anymore.
To be honest I think you are best RUclipsr I have never seen when I seen all most of your video videos I have to subscribe to your RUclips channel immediately cuz everything you are doing it's perfect you explained you show how to do it that's what I love you deserve it I recommend all my family my friends to subscribe to your RUclips channel I have all of them told about your RUclips channel
I've been lax in downloading photos from my phone with the result that I have now a massive collection of thousands of photos that I'd like to transfer to my external hard drive through my laptop. First question: can I designate that drive as the location for file transfer or do I have to first transfer files to my laptop and then use the old drag and drop method to transfer them to my EHD? Second question: is there a recommended maximum number of files or MB/GB to transfer in one pass? If you have to transfer images one by one, SF won't be a good solution for me.
Hi bro..is there a way to mirror my Note20 Ultra to my PC without turning off mobile hotspot on my phone? I have my data sim inserted on my Note, and I turn on mobile hotspot so my PC can have internet connection. But if run Samsung flow (or Dex), it asks me to turn of mobile hotspot first..I can do that but my PC will lose internet connection. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks in advance..
I have noticed strange issue. In the smart view, Full Screen mode, touch interaction-vibration on the phone got disabled it self and when switch back to normal screen size, it enabled again. But if you close the app on windows during Full Screen mode, vibration not enabled and need to be enabled in Settings/Sound & vibration menu. It seems small bug.
Thank you so much for this! Glad I can do this with my Note 20 Ultra, I just ordered the iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB; is there anything that does this for the iPhone? Thanks again!
I found samsung flow to be incredibly slow. Over 30 minutes for one file. Then, when its finished it tells me there was a problem, the file transfer was not completed.. What could be causing that
It's Samsung 55" Q80t QLED TV (120hz). The room is small, so this serves dual purpose, as a TV and as well as a computer monitor, saves a lot of space. I've done a review of this TV on the channel. 😊
Mine was working great but for some reason has stopped. I have restarted everything, reinstalled flow on my laptop and phone several times but can't get them to pair up no matter what I do. any suggestions ?
I might suggest rebooting your wireless router, this has happened once and the only way I could fix was by just restarting my wireless router! I hope this helps, looking forward to hearing back.
There is a huge difference when it comes to file transfer, Your Phone app doesn't allow you to send and receive music and videos and photo transfer is also quite limited. With Flow you can send and receive 500 files in bulk no matter what the size. So, basically Your Phone is a cut down version of Samsung Flow.
Thank you, Sadesh and no, it does not work on Windows 7 since it doesn't have the Microsoft Store, by the way, Windows 10 is a free upgrade from Windows 7 why not upgrade?
@@TechGuyCharlie i did try to upgrade and it worked, but i guess the integration wasn't great as my laptop is about ten years old, and i ended up downgrading. Its sold on windows 7 though, anyway its ok, I think the wifi providers here take into account the number of GB transferred even in a transfer that actually uses no data and doesn't download a thing from the internet, and they factor it into our monthly quota, which is gonna be a waste for me. Till we get stable unlimited internet, I'm going to have to use a cable to transfer stuff 😅😅😅
Nice video but how to copy ALL the photos and videos from the phone? I have hundreds and it is way too much to tick each one, why is there no "all" select button? Oh there is one... ok but I have over 500 snaps which is says is the limit... so what now? Unimpressed Samsung!
@@TechGuyCharlie Good idea... am too impatient to tick even 100! I ended up extracting the SD card after having copied the pix over... seems some phones lack an SDC slot... progress? Hmm.
Superb content, step-by-step, easy-to-understand explanation. Solved a longstanding problem for me👍👍
Great to hear! 😊
Is there auto sync ? whenever i take new photos those must be copied to computer when it connected to wifi

Thanks for a great instructional video. I got up to speed quickly!
Thank you. Your video only just popped up in my feed. Works perfectly. Saved.

Wow! Did not know one could do this with my Samsung phone! Thank you.
can you tell us the model of PC and monitor you are using and the pricing ?
Thank you. You made it easy to understand. 😃
Glad it was helpful! 😉😊
Ty so much amazing tips .I saw this app long time ago. Had no clue how it works, thank you
Glad the video was helpful, Alex 😊
WOW!! AWESOME JOB!! THANK YOU!! THIS HEPLED ME OUT SO MUCH!! DID NOT EVEN KNOW ABOUT THIS FEATURE!! LOL
Thank you and I didn't know about it either, just came across the Flow app while browsing Samsung apps in the play store, decided to try it out. 😁
Does it reduce the quality of the photo or compress it??
Hey, It transfers over the original photo and video. So it does not reduce the quality or compress it. 😊
Great video Uncle🤗💪
Thank you! 😃

How is samsung flow differ from samsung dex ? Also phone companion ?
I have tried this on my m32 and It works

Pretty awesome, right? 😉
@@TechGuyCharlie Yes, this is such a useful app. Plus your video shows all the cool stuff that can be done with it. Thanks again:)
thanks! saved me alot of effort
Great video had know idea that you could even do this.
Thank you!! and did you try it out? I use this almost every day to transfer files between the phone and my PC. 😊
@Tech Guy Charlie Not yet, but will be trying it out in the next few days.
Great video, extremely helpful. Thanks a lot.
Glad to hear! 😊
So it's the same as windows link? Can't view and transfer files?
The app doesn't work for me. It keeps saying re send. Is there another app you suggest?
Great video! Thanks man!
can laptop windows 8.1 install this app??

Interesting!! seems like a bug indeed!
i got a message Samsung gallery is shutting down. do you have video how to switch to onedrive?
Nice video. I have a 3 years old entry level phone (galaxy j6) but Samsung Flow work on it
Thank you so much for this! Glad I can do this with my Note 20 Ultra, I just ordered the iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB; is there anything that does this for the iPhone? Thanks again!
No problem, glad the video was helpful, Apple also has a similar feature, I think Its called Airdrop.
@@TechGuyCharlie Airdop doesn't work with PC it only works with Macs. Found a few apps that do it though, thanks.
I just subscribed and if you could do a video on how to wirelessly send android photos to ipad that would be an accomplishment!🍒🍒🍒
Thanks it works great
Very informative
Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for everything you are doing we are really appreciate

Does this convert hevc to a compatible format?
Nope! This transfers files as they are! Should not be an issue, i've been recording in HEVC for a couple of years now.
Is there a similar way to do this on a Mac?
Sorry, Kim, not that I am aware of, there is no Samsung Flow app for Mac OS.
@@TechGuyCharlie thanks for responding to me.
Which monitor are you using and whats the size ? Looks good ..

The phone and my lap top are paired but they will not connect. Please let me know if something else comes to mind. Thank you very much.
The problem is with the app on my laptop, I actually got it to connect on another laptop.
I reset my computer and all is well. Thank you very much for your help.
Will it use my Wifi Data?
so what's the difference between flow and your phone

Does transfering a video from my phone to computer actually remove the video from the phone?
Nope! The files stay on the phone as well until you delete them yourself.

As a Samsung fan, I am just crying at the fact that Samsung is losing to Xaiomi😒😔❤
Hope they bounce back as number 1 again! 😊 I would start by bringing back the sd card slot and start including chargers with the flagships 😁
@@TechGuyCharlie and bringing back Note series and they are back to top 😍❤
I agree 💯 %
Its great but it has a 500 files restriction. :(

Annoying limit, probably artificial too, I usually select around 200-ish that I can keep a track.. takes a couple of tries but works for me.

bollshit, i downloaded pictures from my samsung phone tp pc via samsung flow and i cant see any pictures!
