In this video, I will show you how to transfer files from your Samsung smartphone to your windows 10 pc computer or laptop. With this powerful and fast method you can transfer to the computer or from the computer to your Samsung galaxy smartphone.

Thanks Saki for this. One question: Did you find this wireless transfer faster than the wired transfer, even with tbe Quick Share built-in app in Samsung, and the Samsung Dex too? Please share your findings on the speed of these different file transfer options. Thank you.

can i just turn the hotspot on my mobile on and let the computer to connect my mobile by its wifi..then also it will work na....
but does it use my data from my carrier or does it work like shareit where it creates a dummy network and consumes zero data?Also is it limited to the speed of my carrier provider ?

We can transfer the whole files to the laptop like we do in samsung smart switch ? And this copies the files right not moving there ?

I bought my mom a S21+ 2years ago, and couldn’t transfer files to my PC devices since then.
The S21+ couldn’t connect to pc whether via USB cable or wifi or Bluetooth, I even bought 2 USB cable form Samsung online store, none of them worked.

Holy Crap! It worked. I am old and hate these smart phones. Whenever I try to look up how to do something on the phone, the info I find is never right! This video was totally correct. It worked perfectly for my wife's A13. Solved the problem of accessing her amazon music on her phone and adding songs to her ringtones. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a lifesaver as my android device was not allowing me to control my device from my pc using USB even after watching countless videos of how to enable it. I literally spent maybe an hour and a half trying to figure it out. Went under developer settings and tried to debug USB and selected the correct USB configuration for transferring files and nothing was working and when trying to do it from the android system, it said it couldn't switch and failed to allow me to control from my PC. Thus not giving me access to my phones files. This was a great work around and now I won't even need a cable in the future, thanks again so much!

This app is AMAZING! Your instructions were clear and simple - everything worked exactly as you stated first time. I immediately downloaded a few video files from my phone to laptop - only took a few seconds per video using wi-fi connection. Each video was about 30 seconds long and high res. Now I'm lamenting the time and hassle I expended using my usb cord and doing it the old-school way. And the connectivity problems & error messages I had trying to upload to Google Drive. Again, thank you SO MUCH for this video.
For 6 years I use Samsung phone. I use shareme, send anywhere..but this video opened a new way to transfer to laptop from my Samsung device.

Thank you! It didn't work right away but eventually I got it. This was helpful to get the initial setup.
Initially I kept getting a 'Receiving Failed' error on all file transfer attempts - no matter whether I selected Bluetooth, Wifi or LAN. For others having this problem .... if your on a desktop PC and you have both Wifi and LAN (ethernet) connected at the same time, it required me to disconnect one and use only that one when making transfers. The PC app should be intelligent enough to distinguish that if the app is connected via Wifi it should use Wifi, or Bluetooth for Bluetooth, etc. But that wasn't so in my case. It will only work for me on Wifi, for example, if I physically unplug the Ethernet cable so the only connection is Wifi. In my case it needs that manual adjustment to work.
But it now works with those caveats.

Thank you so much for the simplified breakdown! Thank goodness for fast wireless transfer! The files I've been transferring are far larger 1GB+ and it far easier than constantly having to find a usb c cable and deal with all that.

I wish all instructional videos were like this - concise, no fluff, enthusiastic, and well done! I noticed you were able to select more than one file. Once I choose a file, it immediately transfers w/o letting me pick more files.
Same however, I just downloaded the latest update and that issue is now fixed.

Thats just great, I tried every setting to do cable transfer and the phone just sat there laughing, I didnt know they do that. This really saved me.
@sakitech In my point of view this app is not necessary, if you have latest version of galaxy file manager. You can transfer files instantly via network storage. If you use file manager's network storage, there is no need to install any software on PC
In my opinion is always good to know another way to transfer files.

damn, bro, you saved my life I was upload a 6gb video to my drive and it was taking ages and sometimes it would crash.. With samsung flow I did it in less than 20 minutes
Worked perfectly with your directions. The only thing is it will only let me select 1 file at a time. I don't have the little circle in the upper corner of my jpg files to select several when I goes to select image. Do you know why it is not letting me select several? Do they have to be in a folder to be able to do this?
While nothing else worked for me, this saved my day :)
wow...finally someone who knows what they're doing. By the way, once you have transferred the photos, etc. is the "flow history" supposed to keep those photos listed or is there a way to clear the history without deleting the transfers?

Why not just use the "link to windows" feature that's already installed on all Samsung devices?
Then you can use all your phone apps on your pc as well as transfer stuff

After you link your phone , you can access all your apps from your computer. So for instance you could open DropBox or myFiles app and then save your desired file to whatever storage drive you point to.
This is legit big big help. I just bought Samsung A72 and was having a hard time transferring videos to my laptop. I tried this and worked wonders! Thank you so much 😊 happy new year!

Surprised that app is still alive and kicking. I think I last used it around 2013. I now use the WiFi server feature within X-Plore file manager.
The Samsung Flow app is garbage. Flow limits selecting over 500 files and the clunky interface is terrible. I would just like to access the DCIM folder on my phone from my PC and be able to copy or sync files or folders through Windows Explorer. Is that much to ask Samsung?

@saitamafps4528 I need to take a lot of pics for work and other things. Why make an app that's limited? I figured out how to allow access in Windows Explorer and sync my pics.

I wish there was a way to transfer the entire folder on my phone with photos versus having to click each one. Other than that, I am loving this.
