@@kevinsmithgaming naah i am talking about the one in the video, pixel sound speaker or whatever its called.Should probably work like front firing speaker i guess
I think 32" on 1080p looks better just because of the pixel fidelity, you get weird aliasing on the 27" and 24" modes that you don't get on the full screen. It's easy to see why : If you keep the same size, switching from 4k to 1080p is just coloring a 2x2 grid of pixels instead of a single one. With 27" or 24" modes you need do interpolate, which I don't think looks that good even with a simple bilinear to avoid Runge's phenomenon.
@@hungerxhungerI doubt that they can fix that. This is just how it works mathematically. I didn’t know asus and aorus were dropping a version of this monitor. Could you link me to it? Also I have this monitor with a wall mount and if I just push it further from me the 1080p looks beautiful w 32 inches. I would never use the smaller modes that turn it non-native.
@@AbirBelly 1. Then it couldn’t be 4k since it needs 32” for 4k. 2. If it’s downsized to 1440p or 1080p there would be the same problem with the pixels not aligning correctly. 3. what’s the point of that if you’re not getting extra HZ anyway?
@@504Trey uhh, the matte screen here isnt actually a typical matte screen you'll find on most ips or va panels, its actually got a bit of glossiness to it and looks more like a plain glass finish then anything, so its not really a problem.
Monitors should be better then what they are in the OLED space. Compared to a LG OLED tv they are beginner / mid level. Peak brightness isnt there, Colors dont punch, Matte screen, No remote, So many issues and samsungs monitors on the same quality. If your going to pay 1199+ for a monitor that thing should be a beast
I currently run a 2 monitor setup, a 34 inch ultrawide for work and a 24" TN 360Hz for gaming (I play both casual but a lot of competitive CS). I wanted a single monitor setup that could do all 3 things so I could reduce a lot of clutter on my desk, and I also prefer a matte coating. This LG I can use for work and casual gaming at 4K resolutions, then pop it to 1080p480 and scale it to 27 or 24 for competitive. The Asus doesn't tick all of the boxes, this one does for me. Which is why I ordered it today.
What do you want to say what we think ? What is input lag at 480hz total system lag with that monitor, refresh at max rate With msec results? This is more important than anything else.
lg is has sale that is working on the monitor you addd the monintor and 2 other items with the discounts and everything i got it for 1100 thats including 2 90 dollar usb c hubs that ill sell on ebay to get some money back
@@Kirkaig plus their oled panel is much better (its a gen 3 qd oled from samsung) its got less input lag as well but the blacks arent as deep as LG ones (you would only notice this difference in extremely heavy lighting) so for me the positives far outweigh the negatives, plus alienware one has VERY little motion blur it almost looks like a still image (idk about this lg one tho)
Nuts how the screen is the speaker. They should add those on midrange monitors too
There's plenty midrange monitors with speakers brother, even my $300 had one.

Been on Sony oled for years but pretty sure it’s an oled thing only

the screen size adjustment is great, 24-27 for gaming, full 32" for anything and non competitive gaming
They are saying sizing down makes it look blurry

Who the fuck getting 240 fps in 4k 😂
the monitor can not do 2k in 240 HZ. once you switch your game to 1440p the monitor locks at 144hz. i returned mine. LG confirmed this with my on X

If that's USD then the one by dell is significantly cheaper
