The Asus PG32UCDM has an aspect ratio mode you can change to 27 or 25 at whatever resolution you want. Really cool feature. The LG does fuzzy on 1080 but really good on 4k. Hard decision for sure but the feature on the Asus essentially gives you 3 monitors in one. I bought them both.

I have Asus pg32ucdm and Lg32gs95ue past week and so far Lg32gs95ue winning on image quality. I'm assuming because of the new Mla+ tech seeing that everyone and their mother seems to think Qd oled is better with colors. Not in this case. After further review I'm not sure. I think the Asus is slightly more vibrant after you enable the peak brightness mode. It says in messes with the PQ curve but it definitely makes it alot better. That being said the colors do seem the same, just the Asus highlights pop a tiny bit more.

Your ping is 29ms, 29ms means that your opponent position will be updated with a frequency of 34fps even if your monitor is capable of managing 1000fps, where is the advantage?
Input latency, way better motion clarity, and amount of screen refreshes making mouse inputs feel infinitely more direct and predicable. There is various videos showing a serious competitive advantage of going up in framerate and refresh rate, but it is definitely hard to argue these small difference to non competitive players
i have to disagree with one thing and it has been bugging me for years People who play FPS games competetivly are saying that resolution is not important and the fps is more important however this year i have switched to the new msi oled 4k 240 hz and i have to say the switch from 120hz to 240hz while nice is not as impactfull as the resolution change to 4k the abiliti to see the enemy much sharper and clearer over long distances (even in CS) is making a huge difference. Would i go back to 120 hz or even 60hz no never but would i go back to 1080p also never.
Funny because I have one of these 4k OLED displays. I choose to play on 1080p as everything seems so small in 4k. Yes it looks crisp but I play way more consistent on 1080p (mainly CS2 and Valorant)
@@QLMTA i do play with the monitor very close to my face like really close So this maybe makes the difference when I sit very close I do see a big difference in sharpness and the size doesn’t make a difference at that distance I mostly play cs2
If the monitor is improperly tuned, then yes, all improperly tuned oleds crush blacks and exhibits banding, like crazy. But, with a bit of research and effort, and some fiddling with the monitor settings, you can fix that. I'd recommend looking up your monitor on a website called "RTINGS", it's got "ratings" from all manner of products, though mainly TV's and Monitors, and usually, they have a properly tuned ICC profile (colour profile) for that monitor in question you can just download and use. :) I'm using an MSI MPG 271QRX, it had some issues with banding, but after i noticed rtings have downloadable ICC profiles, that problem was solved, lickety split! :)
There's drawbacks to either tech. If you don't mind waiting a few years then microLED looks very promising paired with an IPS panel. If you're going for miniLED then make sure it's IPS and not VA otherwise if it is VA you'll have a lot of problems with making out details in darker scenes and black smearing.
I got a mini led recently and I'm replacing it in a heartbeat for an OLED. Can't stand the blooming. The HDR is fantastic, vibrant and alive but any dark content kills it and your eyes in the process.

This is a great 699$ monitor! Also you get deeper blacks than QD-OLED, because the LG crushes blacks insanely hard, while QD-OLED keeps the black level stable where only 0.0 nits is pure black.
awkward, because every review i have watched state it is the best matte coating you will see on any monitor. It just comes down to if you prefer matte over gloss.

Or should I wait for the new asus 480hz that normaly should come out soon? Playing shooters, solo games and here and there some youtube videos. Let me know what I should do
What I do to avoid burn-in is to have my taskbar only on my secondary LCD monitor, my OLED monitor has no taskbar or desktop icons at all. The only thing I haven't figured out is to how to hide the Chrome URL/bookmark/tabs, those things are an issue especially if you like web browsing all day.
Has anyone been experiencing random flickering with their monitor? I see flickering when I am on youtube or random sites. Also, some games flicker on the menu screen.
This video feels a lot like its only made to please LG and to make them let you keep the monitor, I just purchased this monitor and yes I do have the exact same interest as you do, am interested in high FPS competitive gaming at 480hz and great visuals for non competitive gaming at 4k 240hz, but am seriously disappointed by the color accuracy out of the box and its VERY Weak brightness in SDR. I am gaming for the first time in HDR in competitive games just because in HDR I can get a little bit more brightness out of this monitor, If I knew before buying this monitor that the colors are not great and the brightness is this weak I would have not purchased it.

Hi panjino, do you use display port 1.4 or hdmi 2.1 when connecting to PC?
I wonder what the input lag is for 60fps games on this monitor mostly for fighting games.
How stable is the stand.
if only this was smaller i would buy it in an instant but 32 inches is too big for me
Im software ingenier, oled scary me but its perfect for work (4k 32) and play cs2 (24 480hz mode).... Also for photo editing in my free time i shoot weddings
I'm using this with my Xbox Series S and still can't get my games at 480hz?
How do I run my games that fast?
Is the Asus version better?
Your ping is 29ms, 29ms means that your opponent position will be updated with a frequency of 34fps even if your monitor is capable of managing 1000fps, where is the advantage?
Input latency, way better motion clarity, and amount of screen refreshes making mouse inputs feel infinitely more direct and predicable. There is various videos showing a serious competitive advantage of going up in framerate and refresh rate, but it is definitely hard to argue these small difference to non competitive players
Do you feel any improvements in competitive shooters? Better reactions due to fluidity
I jusy wanna know is it smooth? Thats all i care
It's incredibly smooth! (Having used 1080p 360hz, 1440p 240hz)
Obviously, it's an oled
@@xalzor740 never own one that's why I'm asking
How is 1080p stretched over 32"? One woukd think it appears blurry?
Probably but on newer GPUs you can use integer scaling instead of having the bilinear blurry look
Do your USB A outlets work? I tried plugging in a web cam and keyboard and it wouldn’t power.
i have to disagree with one thing and it has been bugging me for years People who play FPS games competetivly are saying that resolution is not important and the fps is more important however this year i have switched to the new msi oled 4k 240 hz and i have to say the switch from 120hz to 240hz while nice is not as impactfull as the resolution change to 4k the abiliti to see the enemy much sharper and clearer over long distances (even in CS) is making a huge difference.
@@QLMTA i do play with the monitor very close to my face like really close
So this maybe makes the difference when I sit very close I do see a big difference in sharpness and the size doesn’t make a difference at that distance I mostly play cs2
@@QLMTA What was the point of buying a 4k monitor then. You could have just bought a 1440p oled.
@@xalzor740 I play singleplayer games in 4K obviously.
Would you say it crushes blacks or exhibits banding?
If the monitor is improperly tuned, then yes, all improperly tuned oleds crush blacks and exhibits banding, like crazy.
But, with a bit of research and effort, and some fiddling with the monitor settings, you can fix that. I'd recommend looking up your monitor on a website called "RTINGS", it's got "ratings" from all manner of products, though mainly TV's and Monitors, and usually, they have a properly tuned ICC profile (colour profile) for that monitor in question you can just download and use. :)
I'm using an MSI MPG 271QRX, it had some issues with banding, but after i noticed rtings have downloadable ICC profiles, that problem was solved, lickety split! :)
Great review. I'm still trying to decide on getting a OLED or Mini led. ( I really not liking the possibility of burn in).
@@ambientswn I just ordered the Alienware 32" 240 htz 4k OLED. It was on sale. It comes Friday.
Non issue unless you use it like a maniac. (Leaving it on, on bright elements with 100% brightness 8 hours a day for months)
how do u have dp version 2.1 (4k 240hz) or what m i missing right now i have the same monitor but i only have dp 1.4 and hdmi 2.1 but that one dosent support 4k 240hz. PS good video
there is different versions of this monitor
Trying to reach the full 240hz on a 4k is crazy…
It can be done on highend systems fairly easily if you don't care for ULTRA settings, I usually go medium preset, g-sync capped at 225fps :)
This is a great 699$ monitor! Also you get deeper blacks than QD-OLED, because the LG crushes blacks insanely hard, while QD-OLED keeps the black level stable where only 0.0 nits is pure black.
This or the rog 540hz for competitive?
Did u use g sync?
Would considcer this if it was at least 3 years warranty :)
There's no 1440p version? 😢
what about eye comfortability .. for a programmer?
The matte coating makes it a no buy
There some reviews saying this display has the worst matte coating u can get at the moment
You really think you are going to notice it? Also what does even worst mean
awkward, because every review i have watched state it is the best matte coating you will see on any monitor. It just comes down to if you prefer matte over gloss.
can u play cs2 with stretch res and its feel normal on this monitor?
I’ll wait for them to drop and get one instead of settling for the 360hz oled
I only need a 1440p 120-144hz oled panel...
Samsung heat-pipe=Gamer Over.
Lossless scaling should be perfect on this. 4x.
Didn't have a screen burn problem?
I feel like listening to a ad
because it is an ad , there has been many people covering this monitor and many had mentioned the conc , i heard none of that here.
well i guess it is simple -> send for review -> good review ? -> keep monitor.
Regardless if its an ad or not its still a top monitor with very very few downsides.
I have a question if someone can help me out a bit. Looking for a new oled monitor. Is the new Samsung odyssey g60 oled worth it. Or should I wait for the new asus 480hz that normaly should come out soon? Playing shooters, solo games and here and there some youtube videos. Let me know what I should do
$1400 let that sink in
Can u check if 480hz mode consumes more gpu power so that it drops fps (for input lag) vs 240hz
What?
lol what
@@justinstewart3248 it happened to 480hz and 720hz 1080p mode or anything higher than 4k 90hz
Base ramdac consumes more power when 1080p 360hz or higher is on, which takes away power for core boosting clock
You can think it is same as 8khz mouse polling rate takes up more cpu usage vs 500hz or 1000hz
Can you run 1440p with 120hz or more????
It only runs 1440p @ 144hz
Anyone know why I can’t see a vrr option/ can’t mess with the black level because it’s greyed out
Crazy good display, but you can clearly see that this is a sponsored video lol.
Its a over hyped monitor. The monitor is dim imo.
What I do to avoid burn-in is to have my taskbar only on my secondary LCD monitor, my OLED monitor has no taskbar or desktop icons at all.
The only thing I haven't figured out is to how to hide the Chrome URL/bookmark/tabs, those things are an issue especially if you like web browsing all day.
the 1080 resolution is extremely blurry
is there any system latency when using it at say 2k? ive heard thats a thing if you dont use a panel at its native resolution? :)
Has anyone been experiencing random flickering with their monitor? I see flickering when I am on youtube or random sites. Also, some games flicker on the menu screen.
Oled or Noled
Yeah... I'll stick with my LG 240hz monitor I got for $150. I'm not spending $1,300 on a monitor lmao
I won't buy OLED until we get 24inch 1440p 240Hz+
OLED is nice, but if I'm gonna be dumping half my life savings and 3 kidneys out, it's gonna have to last me the rest of my life
Poor
need 24 inch oleds
I don’t see vvr in my settings how come ?
