Buying this so i can get clapped by a random kid playing at 40fps on a 60hz ancient laptop display 😎

It's not the car but the driver.
After 144hz nothing matters mate, it´s all about quality of life. 240hz/360hz/480hz will all be smoother for your eyes but that´s it, it won´t make you play any better, while 60hz objectively handicaps your skill because 16,6ms is too much
@@George_C-e4v"smoother for your eyes" translates to "easier to see and track". That objectively makes you able to play better on average over a long game session. This is considering you are already a VERY good player. Framerates >144hz is useless to some players, but can absolutely push a top 1% player to a higher rank.
@@George_C-e4vthat's just a lie
Whats crazy to me is how all really good OLED monitors look like the video was edited in when recorded from a camera.
Purchased mine yesterday and love it. I actually appreciate the low glare as a result of the matte finish and can’t wait to graduate to a high end PC from my PS5 and series X
This monitor is extremely overkill for a ps5, why not get a pc with the money first lol
@ Haha you’re absolutely right but I have a pretty decent PC build (7800X3D CPU and 4070 Super GPU) and now my PS5 Pro connected to it, so I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth.
Ps5 pro nice on it ?
@ It does. I’ve been using Game Mode 2 which seems to brighten up the picture and it looks beautiful.

I have alienware ultrawide qd oled. I had it for almost 2 years and it will have to be something revolutionising for me to switch. However, for people with lcd monitors this would be an insane upgrade. Good review!
@@strawz_gaming do you have any signs of burn in or uneven wear from playing 16:9 (as I see you have a CS profile pic) after 2 years? I got a 32 inch 4k oled but the AW 34 is now on a deep sale so I'm doubting on returning the 32 inch for a 34 inch. I've had this monitor since it came out almost, and I absolutely love it. Specially since I have a PS5 pro and a pc, it works out really well for both and I love having a bigger screen. 27" is good, but 32 make it so much better for singleplayer games and for competitive games. I recommend the 1440p 480hz monitor by Asus tho, it's $300 cheaper and is more everyone's style
How far do you sit from the screen with the 32” monitor? And do you feel its still sharp and crisp when playing first person shooter games?
i have this Monitor for my PS5 Pro and holy smokes... the image quality, the picture quality, the graphics, the sharpness, the colors and absolutely everything is incredible. i cannot say this enough. I need some help here lads… I only game on ps5. I don’t have a pc nor do I plan on getting one. My question is, is it worth getting an Oled monitor? because the ps5 only supports up to 1440p with 120 frames per second.. and I really don’t want to have 4k with 60 frames per second as I play both storymode & openworld games for the immersion aswell as warzone and fortnite and for that I need the 120fps so I am stuck with 1440p. Which to me is absolutely fine but I wonder if an Oled will be the smartest choice and if I would be able to fully utilize what an Oled monitor offers.
I’m kinda new to all this so any advice would be much appreciated!
been using this monitor for a few weeks, really good stuff
What’s been your take on productivity apps/browsing the web? I have read that the “dirty screen” effect of WOLED is notable on large swaths of static color which is my main hang up
@@HeinrichYoshio it is noticeable, mainly on solid dark gray color. other than that, it's hardly an issue. I literally use it for web design and it's been great so far. Used QD oled before but text clarity was very bad, I much prefer WOLED and it's true deep blacks. Will never suggest QD after my experience.
I do really wish LG would release this with a glossy display and USB C option. Dolby Vision would have been nice too. I Much prefer the clean designs LG offers and I really value the quality built-in speakers as I use them throughout every day on my current 4K non-Oled LG monitor
Trust me. Matte is better than glossy.

Honestly you should've left the ui and as many static elements on so people would know how long it would take to burn in. I understand why you didn't, but thats the one thing alot of OLED reviews dont cover is how long something will take to burn in and with you playing 1k+ hours it would've been the perfect test.
These modern OLED’s don’t burn in easily. You gotta be a dumbass to actually burn in the panel.
Just got this monitor. I play mostly WZ. What do you cap your 4k frames at and do you run 480 mode on unlimited or capped as well? I have a 7900xtx and 5800x3d
@panjno bump
I’ll wait for them to drop and get one instead of settling for the 360hz oled
im personally gonna buy the fo32u2p right now and wait for the asus native 480hz. these will be my end game until a 1000hz drops in ~2027-8.
is nobody asking about 1080p on a 32 inch monitor? I understand latency and fps play a big role, but clarity is just as important. What good is to have 480hz if you get twice the pixel size on 32" inch monitor? I don't get that...
Normally games to be played esports titles. I play cs2 with this monitor on fhd 480hz. I up the anti aliasing and to be honest, it's playable. Only when in desktop, yes fhd is horrible on 1080p. But in games like cs2 in fhd and u increase all video settings to high esp with anti aliasing and stuff, it looks clear as well.
@@jamesmadison3108why not use 24 inch?
@mevlutdogru489 I rather just have 1 monitor. I now kinda like 32inch size. It's not that big after using for a few days.
From someone that seems quite skilled in shooters too, what do u recommend? 27 inch 1440p 360hz or 32 inch 4k 240hz? Also with the idea of 27inch everything being in your vision, and having like 360fps probably in all shooters? Have a 7900xt and 9800x3d
Few questions. How bright does the monitor get and how good is hdr in windows
How’s the productivity experience holding up for you? I’ve read about the WOLED panel looking oily/dirty with huge blank/static areas in apps like calendar, spreadsheet, etc. Any comments on this?
Im software ingenier, oled scary me but its perfect for work (4k 32) and play cs2 (24 480hz mode).... Also for photo editing in my free time i shoot weddings
I put like 3-4k hours annually on my monitor, can I expect this to make it at least 2-3 years without burn-in? Pretty much every mmo/single player rpg has static skillbars as that is usually what I play with some fps mixed in, beautify picture
i just bought a qd oled Aorus FO32U2P and not sure what to do with it, i paid extra premium money for the dp 2.1 premium advantage where there is no GPU yet to support uhbr 80 in full. also i am more of a FPS player and found that 1440p works magically but after playing at 240hz on this beast, i got hooked. easy to upscale too with FSR as i own a AMD gpu 7900 xtx. but the only down point is that i wanted at least 360hz refresh rate. what is your advice to a gamer like me? looking to max out all FPS/Refresh rate while top perform in FPS games.
Some saying the matte coating is really bad and also dim ?
If we exclude "dual mode" feature, how would you compare it to Samsungs 32 OLED G8?
I had the G80SD for a week or more and no matter what I tried, the screen kept going on and off randomly throughout sessions. Literally tried everything. Could have been a bad unit - picked up the one he's talking about here and it's a dream.
Would considcer this if it was at least 3 years warranty :)
Do you have a guide on how u set up your rtss/msi afterburner monitoring settings? I like how you track your gpu/cpu loads etc.
Can this also do 1440p 360hz?
if only this was smaller i would buy it in an instant but 32 inches is too big for me
I was wondering what digital vibrance you are using for this monitor ?
the only thing that's stopping me from getting this as someone that would enjoy the dual mode feature massively, is the PPI at 32 inches 1080P, I feel like that would look really bad, currently on a PG27AQN, thats an IPS 1440P/360HZ so i feel like the "downgrade" to 1080P at an even bigger screen size when using the 480HZ mode would potentially bother me, any comments on that?
The Asus PG32UCDM has an aspect ratio mode you can change to 27 or 25 at whatever resolution you want. Really cool feature. The LG does fuzzy on 1080 but really good on 4k. Hard decision for sure but the feature on the Asus essentially gives you 3 monitors in one. I bought them both.
@@grimreaper1282 LG also has the 27 and 24(or 25? not sure) modes but they are more pixelated than the full 32 inch mode, are you saying that's not the case on the ASUS?

It’s here
I wonder what the input lag is for 60fps games on this monitor mostly for fighting games.
How do you feel about 2 year warranty vs 3 year warranty on the QD-OLED panels
It's not about the warranty... The WOLED's are more durable the QD-OLED's.

Will you do a review on the Predator X27U F3 sports when it releases? 26.5-inch WQHD OLED, 480hz, 0.01 ms pixel response time, 1440p
The matte coating makes it a no buy
Would you say that playing CS2 on this fast OLED is better than a fast TN panel from Zowie? From a competitive point of view.
It’s better than every other option except for the 540hz offering from Zowie with backlight strobing enabled. Without the backlight strobing, this actually still comes out on top. But if you have over a grand to spend and competitive smoothness is all you care about, the 540hz 24” tn panel is the way to go.
Slightly better than this as far as smoothness goes, and way way worse at essentially everything else.
@@Deifiableis the 24 inch 480hz mode viable? Most of the reviews mention it looks really bad.
@@rayth4386 I’ve been using the monitor for about two weeks now and also really wanted to like and be able to use the 24” mode. Unfortunately for me it was unacceptably blurry. If I had to I maybe could get used to it, but when I have the option of just pushing the monitor further back and using it as 32 inches, I don’t see a reason to suffer through it.
What resolution you end up playing apex with, with its 300 fps cap?
Is vrr Flickering not a problem on this one? Especially with locked fps?
Curious, why offering a FHD resolution and not a QHD as well
Trying to reach the full 240hz on a 4k is crazy…
It can be done on highend systems fairly easily if you don't care for ULTRA settings, I usually go medium preset, g-sync capped at 225fps :)
1000 hrs is merely a month, i used to keep my pc open 24 hours.. so its not something that you can count on after a month or so.. what happens after 6 months ?
You get burn in and learn your lesson to use a screen saver or have your monitor power off when not in use? HWUB has torture tested his oled for much longer and you really have to try to get burn in with newer models.
Has anyone been experiencing random flickering with their monitor? I see flickering when I am on youtube or random sites. Also, some games flicker on the menu screen.
I only need a 1440p 120-144hz oled panel...
Thought the thumbnail said 1000hz 💀💀
Does the LG have a fan?
Do your USB A outlets work? I tried plugging in a web cam and keyboard and it wouldn’t power.
This is a great 699$ monitor! Also you get deeper blacks than QD-OLED, because the LG crushes blacks insanely hard, while QD-OLED keeps the black level stable where only 0.0 nits is pure black.
There some reviews saying this display has the worst matte coating u can get at the moment
You really think you are going to notice it? Also what does even worst mean
awkward, because every review i have watched state it is the best matte coating you will see on any monitor. It just comes down to if you prefer matte over gloss.
I love this monitor, but when I switch between 240 and 480 in game it tends to seize my pc. Even after updating the firmware… any solutions?
Don't change it in game lol set it to what you'll want to play the game before you open it wtf
Anyone know why I can’t see a vrr option/ can’t mess with the black level because it’s greyed out
Lossless scaling should be perfect on this. 4x.
Your ping is 29ms, 29ms means that your opponent position will be updated with a frequency of 34fps even if your monitor is capable of managing 1000fps, where is the advantage?
Input latency, way better motion clarity, and amount of screen refreshes making mouse inputs feel infinitely more direct and predicable. There is various videos showing a serious competitive advantage of going up in framerate and refresh rate, but it is definitely hard to argue these small difference to non competitive players
There's no 1440p version? 😢
Hi panjino, do you use display port 1.4 or hdmi 2.1 when connecting to PC?
Where is the gsync set up guide
What speed are the USB ports? Does this monitor use a power brick/AC adaptor? Which side of the monitor does it plug into? Which side are the usb ports and DP/HDMI ports located?
he linked it for a reason you asking too much
Display 1.4 with Dsc Hdmi 2.1 yes it has power brick. All the plugs are in bottom of monitor which kind of is a pain. This monitor is beautiful though. I have Asus pg32ucdm and Lg32gs95ue past week and so far Lg32gs95ue winning on image quality. I'm assuming because of the new Mla+ tech seeing that everyone and their mother seems to think Qd oled is better with colors. Not in this case. After further review I'm not sure. I think the Asus is slightly more vibrant after you enable the peak brightness mode. It says in messes with the PQ curve but it definitely makes it alot better. That being said the colors do seem the same, just the Asus highlights pop a tiny bit more.
When you play the 24 inch 1080p mode, can you can change the refresh rate to for example 360hz instead of 480hz? I heard something about the 24 inch and 27 inch mode not suporting variable refresh rate. So i was wondering if that is just g-SYNC, or if its fixed at 480 hz

Why don't you use a PC with 7800x3D which can easily average 480+ FPS at almost all times in Valorant/OW/Siege? That way you can truly gauge the monitor's potential. Since the monitor has a 1080p @ 480Hz mode clearly for "competitive gaming" purposes, you should've compared it with other competitive monitors like BenQ Zowie XL2566K using ghosting or motion blur tests.
Also what about text clarity vs equivalent 4k LCD based panels? Could've covered that side by side in depth.
I also heard that the scaled down modes look weird.
the 1080 resolution is extremely blurry
what about eye comfortability .. for a programmer?

Is the Asus version better?
I ended up getting a Neo G8 recently and it's absolutely insane, I'm not changing the way I use my PC because I became an early adopter for tech which will drastically change in a few years.
I'm using this with my Xbox Series S and still can't get my games at 480hz?
How do I run my games that fast?
Xbox series s only goes up to 120hz. Any console does😅. You need a really powerful pc to get 480 fps at 1080p but it's more than possible in esports games

This or the rog 540hz for competitive?
Would you say it crushes blacks or exhibits banding?
If the monitor is improperly tuned, then yes, all improperly tuned oleds crush blacks and exhibits banding, like crazy.
But, with a bit of research and effort, and some fiddling with the monitor settings, you can fix that. I'd recommend looking up your monitor on a website called "RTINGS", it's got "ratings" from all manner of products, though mainly TV's and Monitors, and usually, they have a properly tuned ICC profile (colour profile) for that monitor in question you can just download and use. :)
I'm using an MSI MPG 271QRX, it had some issues with banding, but after i noticed rtings have downloadable ICC profiles, that problem was solved, lickety split! :)
Great review. I'm still trying to decide on getting a OLED or Mini led. ( I really not liking the possibility of burn in).
There's drawbacks to either tech. If you don't mind waiting a few years then microLED looks very promising paired with an IPS panel. If you're going for miniLED then make sure it's IPS and not VA otherwise if it is VA you'll have a lot of problems with making out details in darker scenes and black smearing.
I got a mini led recently and I'm replacing it in a heartbeat for an OLED. Can't stand the blooming. The HDR is fantastic, vibrant and alive but any dark content kills it and your eyes in the process.
