Wait so as a new person to 40k, I heard Orks do actually grow bigger and stronger the longer they're alive. Will Ghaz then still grow if these aren't his body parts?
Well they grow bigger, tougher, stronger and smarter the more rhey fight and win. The bigger and more fearsome the enemy, the faster they grow. So they won't grow much by just killing weak oponents. Plus if great numbers of orks believe that a particular ork is the biggest and strongest being in the galaxy then the growth will accelerate even more. Also, when an ork feels that he should be a boss then he will gain a few extra pounds of muscle in the few days before he fights his superior. So by fighting orks you are litterally making the survivors even bigger and stronger, as well as creating huge gusts of fungal spores from the orks that you kill, which will grow into fungal mushrooms, which creates snotlings, squigs, gretchin and eventually orks within cacoons under the ground.
