Smart bottle Inc.com are 5 gallon collapsible water bottles that are friggin awesome,,,, you gotta try them,, we have 2 and fill them and keep them in the shower when we travel ...they are amazing and don’t take up any room at all,,,,
Such a great video:-) You guys are the best. And it’s so fun to see TJ really enjoy something! I mean he seems to enjoy a lot but that dredge thing really seemed impress him!! Fun to watch:-)
Stanley ID. is earthquake central of Idaho, Did you feel it? All the wildland fire smoke, There is a big fire burning in the Hells Canyon area just after you left. You all have some serious guts to be in that area with all thats going on Fires and quakes, covid, civil unrest. I love how you just do your own thing and are so positive
Go back and look at the beginning portion of this video. TJ is talking, and then slowly, from behind him into the frame walks one of the most beautiful young ladies of RUclips. Such great production value. If you planned that scene, congratulations. If it was done by accident, you are much better than you will ever realize. Thank you for another great episode of Embracing Dump Stations.😂😂😂
We enjoy your videos , We are across the 49th in creston BC . We travel in Idaho , Washington and Montana , You have very good information , we are thinking of yuma one winter and you gave the information we needed. We have a allegro diesel pusher and also a truck and kodiak camper. Seems like we like the kodiak on many shorter stays :) Idaho is a beautiful state with very friendly folk .
We watch your videos on our Smart TV. I finally realized that I should be making notes of all the places that you are showing us so we can add them to a future trip. Do you keep a running log somewhere? If not, I'll start reviewing the RUclips notes again on my laptop and start my own list. We hope to resume our travels in 2021, assuming this COVID-19 stuff clears up by then.
We use Bal wheel chocks which allow us to lock them between the tires, we have a very unique hitch that requires a special receiver and we pull any fuses related to the tongue jack. The solar panels we lock with a cable bike lock to the tongue of the trailer when we leave. All this is to keep the honest people honest or possibly create too much work for a potential thief. Hope this helps 🙂
several yrs ago the fly shop was for sale, I thought about buying but then the price was a little high. Thinking we should have,, would have got us out of So Ca
You need to watch TV show Gold Rush. one of the biggest gold miners Tony Beats buys and rebuilds a dredge machine.. he spends a couple million on one to tear it apart relocate it, puts it back together and then has to update it.. I do believe a lot of the episodes are on RUclips but it's a Discovery Channel show
Another wonderful video, Y'all knocked it out of the park, Beautiful area. Its on our 55 gallon bucket list of places to see, Thank you for showing us the area.
Enjoying your videos. We’ve been to Idaho and the same areas you’ve been. I attended Boise State in the ‘70’s and was able to ride my motorcycle in many of those areas. By the way, if you really enjoyed those Dots Pretzels you should try GiGi’s Seasoned Gourmet pretzels. Gigi’s gourmet can be found under the Allgoodprovisions.com website. It’s a Utah based company. It does state that they cannot be shipped outside of the state of Utah but they are able to through there only distributor at this time. Thanks again for some awe inspiring video. The west is a lot different than Florida.
We fell in love with Idaho when we drove through last on our way to Colorado from Glacier. We, too, found a free dump station; loved the convenience. Be well and safe.
I was at the Stanley dump station this morning and you could not see the Sawtooth Mountains at all. The smoke is pretty bad here right now. You guys were lucky to be here a few weeks earlier. Another great video!
Man that dredge was cool. Seeing the trommel and the sluice boxes were cool! 600 gallons a day is impressive. I wonder what their running costs were back then and where did they get 600 gallons from? Impressive 🤙. Wish I knew how to fly fish, seems like a level of talent that I’ve yet to acquire 🙌🏼. “Views from the dump” sounds like a great pictorial book of campground dump stations 😂.
keep in mind there's quite a negative environmental cost to such endeavors. harms fish and other aquatic life forms, damages hydrology of streams, some waterways don't recover.
What a neat experience to be able to walk around inside the dredge! Also very neat that you could take the dogs in there with you. We visited Stanley many years ago with two of my Aunts and Uncles. It was a very fun time. Loved the reference to Robert Redford! 😂 😆 That was funny. That was a huge line for the dump!
My in-laws have taken several photos from that exact location!!! Sadly, I have never made it there.....YET!! My Mother In-Law was a part-time tour guide at the Yankee Fork Gold Dredge.
That dredging machine was very interesting. We stayed in Stanley on our way to Joseph Oregon. then the next night we stayed at Mccall Lake. The next morning we headed to Joseph and stayed 3 nights. Thank you for that very informative and interesting video.
RE: the dredge--always better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission--RE: the dump station--this one is now on our bucket list as Dave is a former utilities (water/sewer line worker) and he is in his glory at the dump LOL! Awesome video!! We always learn from y'all! hugs!
I was up there probably a week or so before you. I live in Idaho so, it wasn't my first trip. If you go back, make sure to see Stanley Lake, it is beautiful. Redfish Lake is too, but, really crowded, especially this year.
If your interested, the show “Goldrush” on the discovery channel has three or four gold mining operations and what they go thru up in the Yukon every summer. Well one of the men Tony Beets bought a dredge that had not run for 30 years for a million dollars. And he dismantled it and moved it over to his land and put it back together and used it! In fact he was so happy with the productivity of the first one that he bought another one he found laying around in the Yukon.
First off, love the videos and the historical information you provide on each journey...so thank you for that! Secondly on a funny note, I just noticed your steering wheel cover on the van. I just bought an identical one 3 weeks ago for my pickup and had never noticed one on your van.
Another great vlog!! I love the fly fishing content! A few weeks ago y’all were going fishing but had to cancel because of slow upload speeds for a video. I commented that you had my hopes up to see some fly fishing. Thanks for coming through for me!!
Looks like you guys are doing good having fun I'm glad you told TJ he was being recorded we wood had too turn this video into a x-rated video the dogs look great you guys take care of yourself see you next week
There was such a long line there when I went to dump there after the July 4th weekend. I did get a good pit tire though. 😀. Another great dump station view is at the upper pines campground in Yosemite. Amazing views of the river and Half Dome.
I heard a song by Reckless Kelly I thought y'all might like it. The Braun family is from Idaho. Home is where your heart is. I know how TJ feels when I hand the keys over to my old Bronco even if my wife's just moving it from one side of the property to the other. Y'all take care I hope you enjoy that song when I heard it I thought about people like y'all
What a fun video! You captured my three favorite elements of the RV life: Fishing, cool mechanical things... and a DUMP STATION! jk 😂 Beautiful country and amazing amenities that surround the free dispersed camping. Thanks so much guys - appreciate your informative and beautifully edited vlogs 👌🏻👍
Bri, you are a beautiful young lady. You have reminded us of our daughter Karen. My husband was in tears when he saw this video. Thank you for posting these video's. We both will be watching more of them over time....
Your videos just keep getting better. Many thanks.
Smart bottle Inc.com are 5 gallon collapsible water bottles that are friggin awesome,,,, you gotta try them,, we have 2 and fill them and keep them in the shower when we travel ...they are amazing and don’t take up any room at all,,,,
Thanks for the heads up on the containers. Our blue jugs work great, but they’re a pain to store. 🙂
You can hang them upside down to dry then store them for future use
Another awesome video! I'm looking forward to your next one!
Love the fly fishing stuff.
Great vid guys.
Absolutely love the Stanley area! Hiked in the Sawtooths for a week back in August before the smoke, luckily 😬. The fishing is amazing up higher😉
One of our favorite places since we live in Idaho.
The bug scene was hilarious in slow mo...you are getting more creative ❣🤟
You so inspire me to try boondocking soon.
Funny. I have a photo of my first truck and RV at that very dump station from almost 30 years ago
Nice picture of saw tooth mts.
Sunbeam area is beautiful huh
Such a great video:-) You guys are the best. And it’s so fun to see TJ really enjoy something! I mean he seems to enjoy a lot but that dredge thing really seemed impress him!! Fun to watch:-)

Fly shop, yeah, get a Hobe I11s inflatable or a i14 inflatable tanden
IMHO I think Stanley Idaho, The Sawtooths and the surrounding areas are the most beautiful place on earth. 😎🌴
Potable water as in can cook with. Just think cooking pot :)

How do you lock camper when boondocking? Also solar panels?

👋🏻Florida ☀️🌴🇺🇸

What did you guys do for work before this, and what do you do now?
Hey TJ what sunglass strap do your use?
My son has lived near Sandpoint ID since 1994. Sweitzer Mountain & Lake Ponderay are Soo Beautiful! Head north & you won’t be sorry 😘
Why do you fill the Berky water filter from jugs rather than your fresh water tank?
Did the mechanic in Caldwell get your van fixed and everything still ok?
The scenery is definitely breathtaking. Great video guys!!
How do you deal with persistent haters?
Thanks you two. We have a new location to search out. Sounds funny, beautiful dump station! LOL THANKS SAFE TRAVELS
Loved this episode ❤
Love Robert Redford!! Good choice ❤️
Really cool info in this one!! You guys learned a lot and are good teachers!

Awesome! We’ve been in some long dump station lines but never any that we could shower while waiting. Great video as always.
Your videos are the most relaxing videos I watch, both of you are so laid back and inviting. And YES!, those are the best pretzels ever.
another awesome video, yes DOTS pretzels ,amazing ,we order them on line
Another wonderful video, Y'all knocked it out of the park, Beautiful area. Its on our 55 gallon bucket list of places to see, Thank you for showing us the area.
What are you talking about? You already got your Robert Redford? Poor TJ. :) safe travels.
Such a stunning place. I don't know if I could ever leave! Thanks for bringing us along for the adventure.
If your interested in Gold Mining see Gold Rush series. Crazy money!
Enjoyed this, love watching you guys. I would love it if you could do a video on your water filter set up.
Awesome place!
Great video! What was the line of rigs waiting for? You guys rock! Thanks for sharing! 🤙

Just found your channel. I'm also a changing lanes fan. Hope to see more fly fishing.

Fun video! Good to see you guys wearing masks and still being careful out there!
Another wonderful video. Y'all knocked it out of the park. Beautiful area. Our nephew lives in Boise. This is his favorite place in Idaho.

poe-ta-bull... my country btw...
It would be great to have RR ride up!
yes, the dogs need the AC when its 100 degrees outside right?
Think I could spend some time there. Beautiful and peaceful fishing spot.
My in-laws have taken several photos from that exact location!!! Sadly, I have never made it there.....YET!! My Mother In-Law was a part-time tour guide at the Yankee Fork Gold Dredge.

Awesome review of the gold dredge... you should include reference to it in your video title for a ton more hits. Love you guys and your travels!
Beautiful area. Travel safe.
Did any of those plaques talk about all the people that either contracted cancer, or died of mercury poisoning? True fact!!
Love those Dot's Pretzels!
The cooler weather really suits all of you. Could see the extra jump in your steps! And the pups obviously love it too. Keep em coming.
Great video guys. We are heading to GA in October with AlliChuck Adventures. It would be cool if you guys could make it also.
RE: the dredge--always better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission--RE: the dump station--this one is now on our bucket list as Dave is a former utilities (water/sewer line worker) and he is in his glory at the dump LOL! Awesome video!! We always learn from y'all! hugs!
What are you guys coming back to Texas Billy the goat misses you

How do you figure out if you can fit when boondocking I have a big 5th wheel and I would love to boondocks but I'm worried I might not fit.
There was such a long line there when I went to dump there after the July 4th weekend. I did get a good pit tire though. 😀. Another great dump station view is at the upper pines campground in Yosemite. Amazing views of the river and Half Dome.

Stanley is one of my favorite places. I have traveled and tent camped on my motorcycle for years. Such an outstanding video. Thanks for sharing
Love Stanley, one of my favorite boondocking locations. Glad to see you could enjoy the area.
Its, "potable", not "potable". Does that help? :)
Nice looking
What a fun video! You captured my three favorite elements of the RV life: Fishing, cool mechanical things... and a DUMP STATION! jk 😂 Beautiful country and amazing amenities that surround the free dispersed camping. Thanks so much guys - appreciate your informative and beautifully edited vlogs 👌🏻👍
Love the video. If you're still in Idaho, Downey idaho is beautiful. Sadly, the town's super small but there is a cool war memorial there.
look's like you know how to handle a fly stick
TJ, you missed your opportunity. If it were me, as soon as Bri said "You're on camera", I would have jumped out. But then, that is me.
That place was creepy. It would make an excellent haunted house!!
Beautiful dogs, I've had Brits for over 50 years, sometime as many as 3 at once.
Redford for you, I'd prefer a younger Sam Elliott! Looks like Maddly is doing well!
Bri, you are a beautiful young lady. You have reminded us of our daughter Karen. My husband was in tears when he saw this video. Thank you for posting these video's. We both will be watching more of them over time....
It's actually POTE-able. Not that anyone cares.
Judge dredge....... : )
You were not too far from where "The Horse Whisperer" was filmed (Big Timber, Montana). Visited there a couple years ago.
