Watching your pups enjoying life on the road came at the right time. We just had to send our best friend of sixteen years across the Rainbow Bridge. She spent most of her life exploring great places all across the US in the RV and Colorado was right at the top of the list of favorite places. Thanks for bringing a little peace to my soul.
I really like the style of the pullover - and the color. We’ll have to stop in Leadville sometime and pick one up for me. Bonus, TJ can feel like he got something new to wear since he hasn’t worn that flannel shirt in awhile ;) Have fun out there you two.
Thanks for the tour. I stayed at the Delaware Hotel there a couple years ago. Had a nice steak at a saloon there that night. Hard to breath just walking the streets at that altitude. Never heard of a Earthroamer but now I know enough to look at them unimpressed.
Oh!, how I loved our visit to Leadville many years ago! Such history! Yea, unfortunately, I now have COPD and am having a great deal of trouble breathing over 5000 ft in altitude. Really sucks, as Colorado has so many lovely places to visit, all above 5000 feet, AND we love, love, LOVE Colorado. We, in fact, planned on moving there in retirement...glad we didn’t! Your videos are such great quality....great composition, “cutting”, and perfect music to accompany them. Thank you for allowing me come along with you! 🌲🏜🐶🏞🐻
So glad to see your solar suitcase. I copied your construction video earlier this year. We are hitting the road at the turn of the year and can’t wait to get it set up. Thank you! Travel safe.
I found your channel when doing research on Yuma, AZ. Checking out the other videos I came across Leadville, CO. Great job on this video & happy you were able to get into Melazona. Love the color on you. I've lived in Leadville for over 16 years. I have a 40 ft Class A DP, in fact, I was just up the road from your camp site about a week before you arrived judging by the Aspens colors. Eventhogh I live in the area I still get out to that location evey year to drycamp for a few weeks. An interesting note about Melazona, early in the pandimic when PPE were in short supple and everyone other company was laying off people they stayed open, and started making mask and giving them away to the local 1st responders, hospitals and Dr offices.
Chili sounds good! It is getting colder here in KY. I was raised in Louisville, KY, here to Cincy, OH they put spaghetti in the chili. It is a german thing I think. My wife and I lived in KC KS, for 14 years and we got used to southwestern style chili, no spaghetti, with green and red peppers and multiple types of beans. One thing I still do from my elementary school days and being raised in Louisville, we always dunk a peanut butter sandwich in the chili. My sister in law puts spoon dollops of it in hers. If you don't di it. I recommend you try it. My wife has got her recipe down pat. Just enough juice to dunk a thick peanut butter sandwich. Yum Yum. Great video.
I love your sweater 😍 I lived I buena vista for a couple years and Leadville was my favorite place to go shopping. Love going on trips with you both lovely people. Colorado my favorite place in the world 🗺
So glad to see you got a Melanzana hoodie, they weren't allowing customers in during our visit this summer (end of August). Still liking the hoodie? Leadville was definitely one of our favorite stops in Colorado, and OMG the pizza there was incredible! 👍
That’s a cool hoodie, love the color and we actually love those collars (though they aren’t for everyone 😉!). We used to be enamored with Leadville because of Leadville 100 mountain bike race. Great area🤙. Agree with the security system, in our minds you’re “keeping honest people honest”. Sharing is hard but apparently “borrowing forever” is easy 😂🤣. Good stuff y’all 👍
OMG CHILI!!!!!!!!❤ You're definitely a KEEPER!!!!! The most perfect source next to pizza🍕, pasta and BEER🍺. I love it when my wife cooks up her spicy chili, our kids and my 86yr mom also love it. The best is later on when she and I are laying in bed together, watching your videos, the chili beans kick in and it sounds like the battle of Trafalga, LMAO..... Btw, I love the hoodie🍈🍏🍐🥝🥒green is my favorite color too...
i always said that i missed that class in kinder garden on sharing!!LOL i dont like to share either!! thanks for sharing with us!! that was just beautiful fall colors there!!! i love that green hoody!!
Anyone notice when you said “that beast behind me”, the woman you passed turned, stared, stopped at the corner and may have offered a “greeting” sort of?
Glad you stopped in Leadville, Turquoise Lake water level looked to be way down. So I grew up in Leadville in the 60's, 70's, and the area. Lake County is vastly different. When Climax Molybdenum mine shut down, early 80's, The town almost died and the EPA, Superfund cleanup started. Now it is a tourist town and bedroom community for Summit, Eagle counties and ski resorts. No exploring old mines for gold and valuables, trekking through the old mines and mill sites like Oro City. One last thing during my time in Leadville the elevation was 10,200 feet, before GPS. Looking forward to your next post.
So cool your hoodie wasn't made in China..looks really good on you too. Have u guys camped at Salt Springs Ocala. I love that part of Florida with all the beautiful springs. Probably your old stopping grounds .
Love the hoodie! Leadville was one of my old stomping grounds 20 years ago I’m so excited to see this film you don’t know how good of a good job you did. Really makes me miss my old home in Vail! Thomyt
Hey great town to visit. I was there years ago - worked in the small hospital for several months. Had a small dirt bike and had fun riding the mountain roads. Great pictures of the downtown. It’s grown lots since I spent time there. Is fish hatchery there also that’s worth visiting. Great time of year to visit . Trees are looking gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. Aspen also great to visit as it’s pretty close
U did a lot of exploring in just one day, good show.😊 My old stomping ground. More trivia, Leadville was almost capital of Colorado, some residents have to go lower elevation get blood drained/thinned periodically due to altitude/oxygen mixture. Stay safe. Thanks for sharing.🤗
Love the Melanzana! I have one and it’s super warm just don’t put it in the dryer. It will get real short on you. Great town, thanks for all your great content!
Are your dogs Springer Spaniels? Also, I look forward to your videos every week. I don't want an Airstream or a big souped-up Van BUT I don't go a week without watching you two. You are so precious and I love the historical pieces you include. You inspire me for our future travel videos.
Love your green sweater! Think you skipped the pizza place. Have heard more than one RUclipsr say it’s the best pizza they’ve ever had. You’ll have to try it out next time.
I live in Pagosa Springs, CO. in the past when I have been camping over 8,000 feet my fridge had trouble running off from propane. I was completely off grid with a generator and the fridge was 8.5 Cubic feet. Have you experienced any issues please?
What a cool town - and the color of the aspens! 😳😎 Love the history lessons and the stories you shared - thank you! Question: At that elevation what impact is there on cooking with propane or the engine’s power in the van? Safe travels!! 👍
How do you secure the Airstream with the Hensley Hitch? We also have an AS and Hensley Hitch and haven't decided how we will be securing her when we go full-time next year while away from the AS exploring.
Really well, Shane 👍 We're not winning any races up the climbs but the van got us safely over some very big grades while we were in Colorado. No complaints.
Will first off want did TJ think we ware going to get the code and chase you guys down to steal the solo panels TJ's a trip man I bet that's a good place to fish I love those little towns like that you guys take care of yourselves enjoy the video like normal the dogs look good Brie me and you must be on the same brain length every time I start thinking about time for a video it pops up on my phone the video s are like my coffee cant make it through the week without it okay guys see you next week
Driving up Mt Evans is a hoot, the parking lot at the top is 14,125', but yes it's usually closed after Labor Day for the winter. Here's my aerial flight of the area last year. ruclips.net/video/2S-iaYKr0Xs/видео.html
Hey! TJ let me "Mansplain" this to you. When your Wife asks do you like my shirt ,dress, hair, cooking, etc. the answer is always YES!
@Chief Chiefn ???

Historically, you barely scratched the surface of a very interesting town. The story of HAW and Baby Doe Tabor should not be overlooked. Haunting!
...it's weird but interesting...
Love how you take us “off the beaten path “ and tell the history of the area! Beautiful scenery! Thanks!
I grew up in Leadville, moved to Los Angeles after high school in my 50s now and boy do I miss Mother Nature and living in a small town.
Thanks, now I want some chili. Boy that looked good. By the way, Bri, you look great in that new hoodie.
Love the video. We love listening to how much you two laugh and giggle. It just makes me happy.
Fabulous views of the mountains! Many thanks.

beatiful !!! very nice video !! some great pictures of the dogs as well. :)
The EarthRoamer was pretty cool but so was that Airstream B190 at 4:38 ...
Thanks for the tour. I stayed at the Delaware Hotel there a couple years ago. Had a nice steak at a saloon there that night. Hard to breath just walking the streets at that altitude. Never heard of a Earthroamer but now I know enough to look at them unimpressed.
We were there this summer in our RV. Our son lives in Divide Colorado
Love the sweater and the color is gorgeous!

Bri, Kim says she loves the hoodie and especially the color. What does TJ know anyway haha.
Bri, u look GREAT in the Hoodie. That is a good color on u!
Mt. Whitney is the highest mountain in the lower 48. It sits Only 85 miles from the lowest point in the US on Death Valley NP.
your new hoodie is beautiful and looks good on you!
So glad to see you got a Melanzana hoodie, they weren't allowing customers in during our visit this summer (end of August). Still liking the hoodie? Leadville was definitely one of our favorite stops in Colorado, and OMG the pizza there was incredible! 👍
We in Summit County, CO & boondock often below the Dam.
What a cute little town!! You should have got TJ a matching hoodie lol I’m glad to see the red sauce was contained this week too 😂

11 years of living in Colorado and being in the back country I’ve never had an issue with leaving anything out when I leave my camping area.
Route of the Silver Kings is AWESOME! The mining and mineral museum there is really cool too.
Anyone notice when you said “that beast behind me”, the woman you passed turned, stared, stopped at the corner and may have offered a “greeting” sort of?
Lol, she did look like she was trying to get their attention. Maybe she recognized them?
I thought she was trying to decide if she should call the mask police, she sure did stare for a long time before moving on.
Wow. 11k views in 30 minutes. You guys are doing awesome. Keep up the great content.
Love the sweatshirt , love that you have a built in neck gaiters and/or hoodie
video quality is amazing! enjoy all your videos
Thank you so much for the compliments, Cathy 🥰

I hope you're planning to travel down the million dollar Highway. By the way. We like your new sweatshirt.
Cutting down that flimsy tree you hook the lock to is quicker to cut than the chain. LOL

We lived there for a year, beautiful area great video guys, enjoy watching.

Tj, Tj, Tj. I agree with others. Your wife looks beautiful in that pullover.... I do like the colour as well.

Have you ever poured your chili over cooked rice? it will give you more bulk and stick to your belly longer.

One springer and brown one is a Brittany spaniel
Had to be hard to buy your hoodie without touching it - but good on that company! Beautifully done - love your constant laughter.
TJ, you're like me I don't like sharing my clothes either. I got a favorite shirt also and I don't share that with any one lol.
Just started following you guys. You find the coolest locations to stay. Love the video. Safe Travels!
@ 3:35 - A lock just helps honest people stay honest.
I love the ride up to Leadville from Denver, I get breakfast at The Golden Burro , beautiful country there!!
Nice video and I love your new sweater! That looked like a cool town! Thanks for sharing! 🤙
Check out high mountain pie next time!
Love your green sweater! Think you skipped the pizza place. Have heard more than one RUclipsr say it’s the best pizza they’ve ever had. You’ll have to try it out next time.
Curious, do you see the dogs affected by being that high up.? It doesn't appear in the video they are much affected.
Love your videos. How much was that cute handmade hoody cost?

Nice
Those hoodies are super popular. And expensive.
Nice hoodie but don’t wash in hot water it might end up being too small for you

thanks for letting us enjoy with you ,..p .s ,change your music ,lol
I sure enjoy your adventures! Do you have a map maybe on-line that shows your journeys?
Thinking that Mrs Grinch has come to visit
Love your new hoodie! Looks good! What was the name of the shop?
TJ, How did the van do with the lower gear ratio?
Really well, Shane 👍 We're not winning any races up the climbs but the van got us safely over some very big grades while we were in Colorado. No complaints.
Do you watch for signs of your dogs having trouble at 10k ft.?
We didn't notice any changes in them at all, just the humans struggled 🤷♀️👍
