instead of displaying the switches being typed on you decided the text should be... the camera and the mic?
Yes and it was genius
lol I just saw this.
I thought it is more important to know which audio recording device I was using since I already showed which switch is in which keyboard in first.
Still, thank you for the suggestion and I'll improve next time!
Thanks for this video comparison, outemu lime sound nice and silent
Press the keys like you mean it
I'm not a heavy typing kinda guy 😅
Hey, I was thinking about getting new silent outemu switches for my build. At first I was going for Outemu lime's, but the switches apparently have small tactility feel. You suggested for outemu cream yellows or toms, have you tried them before, and if you have how would you describe the tactility compared to other tactiles such as akko lavenders. Sorry for bothering and thanks.
Sadly, I never tried the cream yellow nor the tom. I heard good things about them tho. I suggest watching this video for more details on these switches. ruclips.net/video/VKU1m0IFCV8/видео.html
cream yellows have more tac then akkos, and are super silent.
Thanks for posting. How do the Silent Lemon's feel? I like a tactile key and was looking at these or the Kailh Speed Copper's.
Thank you for watching! For me, the silent lemon feels like gateron brown with its pre travel and small bump. If you want bigger bump silent tactile, I would suggest looking at the Outemu TOM or cream yellow instead.
Will it stuck cherry profile keycap on north facing led hotswap?
Not sure, I will try it and let you know.
So silent than my PC Fan
Thanks!
I currently use lavender purples and wanted to switch to silent lemons due to the noisy clicks of purples although I like the weight and tactility of thay switch. Is the silent lemon as light and tactile as the lavenders?
To be honest, I can't recommend the silent lemon as a silent alternative for the lavender purple since the tactility is quite low. I would recommend you to look for other silent tactile like the outemu cream, outemu toms, or maybe the new haimu silent switch.
@@k_to_the_b Thank you. Very helpful!
No problem! Thank you for watching!
Outemu cream yellow(this is silent too), and durock shrimp.
@@k_to_the_b thank you so much for sharing! haimu is crazy good man haha!
How does outemu lemon compare to babo u4?
It's very different. Outemu Silent Lemon feels like brown to me, so more pre travel and much smaller bump compared to U4.
does the silent lemon feel "clicky"?
If you mean the feeling then yes, it has tactility but no sound
it sounded kinda squishy and scratchy, is it bcos of the keyboard?
I think it's mainly because it's so quiet, so you can only hear the scratch and the dampener 😅
All switches that uses silicone or rubber dampeners will feel swishy. And since these are tactiles, you will hear/feel the tactile event as scratchy. It's just how silent tactiles are. The linear version of these (outemu silent peach) are more quiet and feel smoother.
You could try Haimu or Skyloong glaciers for silents that doesn't use silicone dampeners to get rid of the mushy feels
@@mibcd I already bought the lime lol, its still on its way. is there any way to reduce the squishy feeling? im planning to lube before installing to my keyboard. though its my first time modding so any suggestions are much appreciated. Hi from Indonesia wkwk land
I mean you can cut off the dampener, but not only is it time-consuming, it will also remove the 'silent' part of the switch. 😅
@@k_to_the_b yup its so quiet, no clicks or clacks, just dabs hahaha, haven't lube them yet. Oh yeah, I didn't realize the the top housing is not the clear type, so the rgb from the case is so muffled. Im planning to change the top housing with some good ol' blue switch i have laying around. I hope they will fit.
