I really like the video, because every switch has different sound. I found that Cherry Silent Red switches are too scratchy for me. Gateron Silent Yellows are a bit too loud. And Haimu switches have the least intrusive sound, the most pleasant sound for me, so I would probably buy them. I already own Haimu Heartbeats and they are great, both the feel and the sound is so good.
I’m glad it helped😊 I tried to record each switches typing sounds by their own characteristics and it seems it worked. Cherry silent red does has more scratchy sound than others, and other switches you said are just as I heard and felt👍 Thank you for watching my video!
I did raised little bit of volumes because their sounds are very silent compared to normal switches. If you want almost mute switches, then I recommend Boba Gum or silent peach.
@@geekey i bought the pegasus switches today. 35pcs for 14$ and 70pcs for 26$. Now i need keycaps and a barebone kit. Have 3 options , keychron q1 pro-160€, gmmk pro-120€, monsgeek m1-120€. We are very limited here in germany^^. Its my first custom keyboard. There is kdbfans but too expensive. All the other options are ansi us layout but i need iso.
after watching all of your silent switches comparison videos here what i found: silent switches that have a lighter spring tent to be a little bit more noisy than the medium range, and for tactile the larger the bump the more noisy. and the board 60% where the sound came frome and switch are 30% and the keycaps are 10% so the board are the most important part to make a quite keyboard. thanks for your works pls do more in 2024 since the new wave of switch is crazy
Good inspect! Thanks for watching my video carefully. I prepared many other switches which were famous in 2023, but I didn't have some chance to make a video. I will work hard, so please wait a little🥹 Thanks
Yeah I think the board this is in and the mic setup make it a very noisy test. I think it would be best to test silent switches in a board that’s also heavily dampened with all possible layers of foam and silicone in it, cuz that’s what anyone would do for a silent build with silent switches. And focus more on how the switches sound and remove as much board/case and key cap sound as possible. I have the Cherry MX Red Silent and they don’t sound like this even in my Ducky One 2 mini. But at least I can do an imaginative relative comparison to if other switches sound more muffled or dampened or softer compared to this setup.
@@bananasandbass I kinda see where you comming from as an enthusiast but I kinda diss agree on this because alot of board are purposefully built to be clacky and many people just want to have a silent switch that could help with the noise. And if you do make silent switch on an padded board then you are also leaving out the biggest market: the non enthusiast board people, who might use this video as a bench mark to wonder what switch is best for them in the test because their prebuilt keyboard that sound like the one in this channel
this is a great video! i was hoping to find a haimu / outemu silent linear comparison. these are all stock, right? i would be curious to hear your thoughts (or see numbers, though that's a lot more work!) on how they compare when lubricated, as the silents i have tried all respond really well to lubrication.
Only complaint is no inclusion of the akko fairy's. I personally went with them since every comparison video they where by far the quietest of any I saw (besides the wild Hamui Heartbeats)
Fantastic sound demo. Man I need these peaches.
The best silent switch comparison on RUclips, thank you.

I think those are the Outemu ocean Clicky switches
Idk, maybe its just me but none of these are near silent. Want to build a silent keyboard but cant find switches that are really silent. Great Video.

@@geekey 👌, thanks i give it a try. Do u know the new gamakay pegasus switches? Found them yesterday, they seem to be very silent.
@Pago88 oh I’ve never heard of it. If I have chance to get it, I’ll try!
@@geekey i watch that video for sure^^

매우 유익한 영상이다
Thank you.
Me : * Enjoying the comparison as an ASMR video 😪*
Actually I think I prefer silent switches to other linear and tactile switches these days 😂
@GeeKey Which among they switch has a soft bottom out with the least scratch feel?
hmm it could be different for each person, but I recommend Outemu peach or Boba Gum.
@@geekey thank you 😊
