Would you buy the new Dacia Duster?
Definitely if I had the money. I've got a 5 year old stepway which I love and Dacia has moved on a lot since I bought that. I do a lot of camping and the stepway has been great. So I'm hoping next year I can afford the Duster.
Absolutely! 👍
Yes. The 4x4
On our 3rd Dacia can’t fault the car nor the dealer so would buy one again
Yes. I have Renault Captur 2020. With same 100hp LPG engine like this Dacia. Cheapest way to move, It can compete with EV.3 years 60oookm, Had 2 time issues With LPG sensors, fixed for free,Great car for 4 person.
Looks great, and might just be what customers want. An affordable, practical stylish car.
It looks better than the so called German premium brands. It has all the tech you really need. It's a sensible car for sensible people. It doesn't come as a surprise there is an option like the outdoor sleep pack. Really refreshing !
Entire India is waiting for launch
But no one will buy it, they will go and buy Kia Seltos instead and great cars such as this will eventually be discontinued due to poor sales
You have some point but there will be some who will go for its ride quality, handling and butch look. The hybrid engine, if launched in India, will be an added advantage
Dirty people
check world wide sales do your homework 😢

Have owned a Duster since 2015, now waiting for the new Duster in Renault showrooms in India.
Would you consider the 2024 Duster ?
@@dabdoube92 Yes of course, as a brand Renault is reliable, driven 50k kms just with Oil and filter changes.
VW - przeżywa kryzys, wydaje mi się że teraz przez Dacie będzie miała jeszcze bardziej. Jak cena będzie dobrze ustalona to będzie hit sprzedażowy w Europie.

VW and Skoda should learn from them
the hottest car of 2024, in the real world, no doubt.
Its a damn good looking little car! I want this! 🇸🇪
Looks great. Great review
Good review, held off buying last year for this nicer design.. Just hope we get some decent colours in UK!
Hey, great news! The Dacia Duster is almost here 😃
Absolutely. We all know that everyone is paying through the odds for unnecessary features and options, included and optional ones. Renault is getting better at this game and I wish other manufacturers would come to the game, whatever the brand (DAF, Sunbeam, Datsun, FSO, Stellantis could use Vauxhall for that purpose and take Opel upmarket - the marketing gurus should know better...) , as this shows a relatively simple, affordable and regulatory compliant car can be built and a lot more should be built lighter, simpler and cheaper to buy and maintain.
100%, but let me add one thing.
What captivates me (possibly others) to Dacia, is that it is right now the only brand that widely sells LPG cars, and not as some limited edition.
Good video. There’s a small audio glitch at the end needs editing out.
This looks good IMO. Nice review btw.
Top review. Unlike pretentious other channels
Glad you enjoyed!
Good detail in the review. Nicely done.
Thanks!
Will sell like hot cakes here in India.
They should make the pre orders for this car and the Bigster available. This year I am going to choose a new lease car and I am really bending to choose the Bigster if they make it available on time. Otherwise I will get the Duster, but first we need more info like price and release date/preorder date.
Will it be of road capable as the older οne?
It’s really strange when a reputed auto reviewer says that turning off driver assistance systems with a single press is one of the main highlights of the car. Makes you wonder what use these are off anyway!!
When is it coming out?
The plant is not in Pitesti (my hometown). The plant is in Mioveni a nearby city
Very impressive All round.
nice review, but unless the Dacia UK site is wrong, there are Diesel options available. In their configurator I'm seeing a 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive Diesel.
That's the older model that you can still buy today.
This new duster is coming next year, is just being unveiled now.
They are getting rid of the diesel next years model.
Yes, as Dominic says that is for the older model 👍
Wow now that is retardet. How cant u see that is the older version😂😂😂
Very nice going to wait and compare this new duster to the Bigster when side by side
starting prices with base engine :
essential only LPG starting at 18990,
expression LPG 20990 (4 engine types) ,
extreme TCE130 23990(3 engine types no lpg available),
journey 22690 (3 engine types no 4x4 available)
Eagerly waiting for the 3rd generation. Would love to get one.when will it be launch be available in india.
India is bored with all the pseudo SUVs... India misses the Renault Duster!!
Great review for a great car!
Thanks! 👍
This one looks way better than the previous. Especially the small rear window.
Hope Renault bring this one to India....
Surelly do!
Is there an auto 4X4? Or only manual? An auto 4x4 was missing from the previous gen.
No Auto 4x4. Automatic transmission is only 4x2, just like the previous model.
Yes, there is Auto 4x4. The new 4x4 system will have 5 modes: Snow Mode / Mud-Sand Mode / Offroad Mode / Eco Mode / Auto Mode.
@@Indimenticabil "The optional 4×4 version has five selectable driving modes (Auto, Snow, Mud / Sand, Off-Road, and Eco)..." Those are driving modes but the 4x4 is manual only. They keep the 4x4 Automatic transmission for more expensive Renault models.
@@Indimenticabil The only 4x4 version will be with TCe 130 with the 6-speed manual
It s not like they could not launch more variants
It looks amazing..
Sorry, why is there a verdict when you haven't yet driven it?
Will it have adaptive cruise in the UK ?
Why do we want crap like that?!
@@royfontaine5526 You have obviously never used adaptive cruise but it has heated seats, why would you want them ?
@@IslaSprollie I don’t want them either. Feels like you’ve pissed yourself and I have my own metabolism to keep me warm anyway.
@@royfontaine5526 That’s true and central locking, I find it much easier to open each door separately
@@IslaSprollie that’s a bit of a stupid argument, as central locking is useful. Adaptive cruise is for ‘tards who can’t drive. Heated seats are for weak and infirm people with no metabolism.
LPG option, means there are chances that In India it will come with CNG option..
Dacia 🇫🇷🗽
Looks great, biggest hurdle will be price.
impressive
Looks premium
love it!
Wish a version without a touch screen and with a cd player was available, not all drivers are nerds, guess I'll stick with an older car which suits my needs. Like the styling though.
If I'm not mistaken the entry level car coms without the touch screen and you just get a mobile phone holder instead.
good news
The exterior is a stunner but the interior is not so good relatively to the competition. It's a budget friendly car but still could have been little more premium at the Top end version.
Then buy a BMW or Mercedes’ 😊
Super
Please launch early in indian market
I will purchase this vehicle if meets the specifications minimum ground clearance 220mm, strong hybrid, torque above 250NM,best road presence, manual transmission with 4x4 option, tyre size around 235/60/R18.
You want it to be both a hybrid and a manual 4x4?
$33k AUD??? do they sell in Australia?
I believe so but as Renault Duster
Fine car for the money
I hope they bring it to latam
Price in Europe?
From under 20,000 euros.
Yes
Building a Dacia does not have to be particularly difficult. On the contrary, you are aiming at a vehicle which is supposed to be basic thus exempt from various unnecessary “luxury” surplus items. The main problem when building a Dacia is the parts bin of Renault - Nissan. The have a range of very poor engineering solutions among them the ill-fated JATCO gearboxes, Renault - Nissan engines etc.
Stigao novi Dunster!
Demise of the Duster. Just ordered a new diesel 4x4 while they’re still available.
5:53 fantastic not rocket science MG!!! 😅😂 take note
I want a diesel
I really don’t get it. Why should I know about the platform and the name of it. Renault is the only company that brags about that. And if you are talking about the platform that means you just read their PR material.
It will be priced above 20 lac if hybrid powertrain is the option ....No money
WHERE IS SUNROOF !!?
:) no sun roof. It is a Dacia. No unnecessary stuff
Diesel ( it was the best engine for it
Dacia/Renault 🇫🇷🗽 Proud French cars
No diesel so no purchase for me...☹️☹️
We Indians are waiting for the launch
Y Y to many Ys 😊
Renault India please launch in india
What is this ridiculous nub of a gear selector design VW, Skoda, Porsche, BMW, Dacia have adopted its ridiculous looking. Shame they’ve dropped the diesel, as EV plateaus I still think there’s a place for diesel
Volvo also favour the stupid little stubby gear selector, with a separate push button to put it into Park.
Toto není nový model, spíš facelift. Je mi líto ale toto bude prodejní propadák. Bye Bye Duster....
Decided to write some comments on youtube while waiting for new crayons to eat?
Best to save your money and buy a real car. If you look closely, there's a stray wire or something hanging under the car! :))) Romanians... :))))
Ermmm… That’s the trickle charger to keep the battery topped up while the car’s systems are run for filming purposes.
Go into most car showrooms and you’ll see a similar ‘stray wire’ under the cars on display.
The new Dacia Whatever..
