Look at the romanian videos where the engineers explain how they designed it to be cost-effective. You'll see the same headlights are on any trim level, low and high, simply because it was cheaper than to design and produce multiple versions. Same goes for many bits around the car. It was cheaper to design one size fits all. This is why the difference from lowest to highest tier is just the engine and some heated parts

I was pleasantly surprised by the design of the new generation of the car, both externally and internally. I didn't even expect it. Because the previous ones had an unpleasant design that was too utilitarian, which oozed cheapness and rather scared away buyers, constantly hinting that it is just a means of transportation! But here the body lines are really beautiful, everything looks modern, stylish and pleasing to the eye.
But the icon that says that this plastic is from recycling... well, it's like spit in the soul. Yes, other manufacturers, as in the case of the Prius, have been doing this for a long time, but why remind everyone of this? Maybe not everyone likes it? Or maybe the owner is not a connoisseur of green, just like the car itself is not yet electric or hydrogen. I bet some of your acquaintances, after seeing that icon, will tease you for the rest of their lives with jokes like "when my branded car gets old, they will make you a new one from its remains."

Yes, there is a big improvement over the look of the previous model, but I am interested in: is there a heated windshield, do the mirrors retract by themselves, do the electric windows retract when locked, is there a rain sensor. These are all things available in other cars from 20 years ago. Dacia upgrades and upgrades the look, but the look doesn't make the car.

    • @GabrielGheorghe795

      Heated windshiled: yes
Do the mirrors retract by themselves? No...manual
Do the electric windows retract when locked? Yes. if you press the close button on the key car twice. This is a classic function on newer dacia/renault cars
A rain sensor: Yes, you can see on the windscreen and on the wiper lever that it has a rain sensor
