Tony See you truly are awesome. I have a friend of mine that just got a new dog puppy, her name is Missy. When Missy grows up this is what she will get.
In this build the buckle will sit on the throat of the dog because it is on the opposite side of the d-ring where the leash is connected to the collar. I think that this is not good or comfortable for the dog. I would recommend to change it so that the buckle sits on the side of the dogs neck. To achive that you have to put the part where the d-ring is connected to the collar near one end of the collar. That way it is more comfortable for the dog.
Wow that rivet setter thingy is some simple genius. I've been avoiding using "real" rivets in any of my little projects so far, but when the time comes I'll be hunting down one of those bad boys.
I bought the pattern and trying to do it right now. There is the part when you saw the red "flower" around the rivets. Unfortunately that part has been completely cut out of the video therefore I don't know how to sew that part. Could you please help? Thanks
Beautiful pattern as always, Professor. My only issue is, I have trouble trusting the D ring in that position with the way my dog pulls. For me, it feels sturdier to put it down by the buckle.... I may try to mod this one a little for that. But an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL design for the.... ahemmm..... Adult community.
I have two large and 5 small dogs that need collars so this pattern is perfect! love the design..not the plain old strap collar.... I was wondering where the small clamp you use came from..ice been looking for a smaller stitching helper for a little while and that one looks like just what I need!
Great, thank you for this. I am going to try adjusting the pattern for my English Mastiff. He weights 100Kgs and collar size is 85cm but I would love to make him one.
Tony Awesome job! Really appreciate the pattern looks great. Just FYI there’s small mistake with the 35-39cm portion the folding leather piece doesn’t really align with the belt piece. I was able to fix it by cutting both piece a little short.
I experienced that too. But on a worse note, I didn't think to turn the flesh side out before riveting and stitching the bottom strip to the upper strip. What a mess I made! Had to take it all apart. But like they say, if you're not making mistakes, you aren't learning.
Hi Tony. I haven't been able to get a clear picture of my makers mark. Could I possibly send you a sketch of it. It's pretty simple, I think. Do you make them out of brass? Thank you very much
Hi Tony. Thank you for another pattern, its beautiful. What rivets are you using? I have not seen those before? Are they strong? I love your work. Cheers from Cape Town, South Africa x
Holy Moses Tony, that Sinabrooks stitching punch is like $140. 1.5mm/6mm-6 holes. Now the $140 question is was it worth it? Does it punch holes better then other methods? What about going around a radius? Do you then just use single punch?
Hi Tony, Thank you so much for the fantastic pattern. I was able to use a larger version for my Cocker Spaniel, now my dachshund is offended and also wants a new collar. Unfortunately, I can't find decent buckles and D-rings in 18mm anywhere. Not even with Leather Republic. Will 20mm also work with the smaller sizes?
I always enjoy watching your videos and your skill. I always learn something from you and I've grateful! Did you make the small stitching pony yourself? I can see that coming in handy for smaller items.
Beautiful collar! What software are you using for creating the PDFs? I'm currently using PowerPoint when I make patterns but it is (obviously) not the best software... I've also tried some free CAD-software but I was not impressed..
Asdfghjk... Damnit mate! I was already in the place where I get the leather today! Oh welp... I can wait until I can go there again X_D Great video and great tutorial. PD: I'm stuck with one of your plague doctor masks bc I got methacrylate circles but I need to find how to put some color in them.
I love watching your vids... but have to mention one thing... your background music (which is excellent) is so loud that a person has to turn their volume down..... you might want to drop the sound level of the music... done bitching... I love your stuff man... keep doing things... you're an inspiration for a lot of us...
Tony See you truly are awesome. I have a friend of mine that just got a new dog puppy, her name is Missy. When Missy grows up this is what she will get.
This was a easy build. I love the way its sits on my dogs
My boys are going to be such well dressed gentlemen🐾🐶🐾
I love that you are selling this pattern in a bundle with the pattern for cuffs (and the pin cushin). :D
Love that stitching pony, do you have a video that shows that in more detail? New subscriber, love the collar
This is the best looking dog collar I"ve seen a tutorial for. It really shows off leatherworking. I'm actively working on mine now!!!

Cool collar ! Your cute pup has become a beautiful dog.
Thank you
I'm sitting here making my third wallet in the past two weeks (I mean ones that have buyers) and watching. Always great work, Tony
Tony,
You have no idea how timely this is. My puppy just outgrew her collar and I need to make her one.
Lmao
Wow that rivet setter thingy is some simple genius. I've been avoiding using "real" rivets in any of my little projects so far, but when the time comes I'll be hunting down one of those bad boys.
Yay! warming up the printer! Thanks Tony! And the link to the video is a GREAT idea!
Tony, looks good buddy, thanks for the pattern. Do something for cats next!
@TheThoughtPalace i want to see him do something cool like cat armor. Or a steam punk cat helmet... Lol
Tony your dog is absolutely beautiful.. thanks again for the pattern... Ill have to get to work on 3 of them (for all my little fur babies)
Just an idea for a future patten... Maybe a pack for a doggo?
thank you
Thanks!
BTW, that dimple on your setter is for smoothing the top of the post.
Printed out the pattern and looking forward to making collars for my dogs.
awesome stuff now i need to buy the harness pattern and make a set for my dogs

I like the editing. Nice build, nice video too.

Thank you so much! A very useful thing, I will make a gift to a friend! More precisely to my friend's little pet!

Thank you so much!!! I'm so excited to get started on this, I may just set aside the birthday gift I've got started. It'll be late anyways...
Thank you Tony, love your work.
I usually praise your builds.. but now I got to praise the doggo.

Skip Hinton It happens, that’s good way to look at it for sure.
@@AZAZALEX I'm starting my second one. Hopefully it's gonna turn out better.
Thank you so much Tony, this is awesome and just what I need for our Malamute cross husky :D
U r great Tony.....what's the name of tha tool you use as a stitching pony
I love it 🥰. But I know my dogs would need much larger fittings. They are big. This collar looks so awesome!
how much time would this job take for a beginner and what is the thickness of leather suggested? thanks
It can be done as a bracelet as well!
Hi Tony. I haven't been able to get a clear picture of my makers mark. Could I possibly send you a sketch of it. It's pretty simple, I think. Do you make them out of brass? Thank you very much

You're the man, as usual! 👍
Sooo... where can I find that Bessey bench clamp/stitching pony? Not seeing it on Bessey's site and it would be perfect for my leather shop-in-box.
THANK YOU SO MUCH TONY
is the brown leather also water buffalo 8 to 10 oz?

This collar looks awesome. That stitching pony looks great. Where could I get a similar one?
hello, I loved the video, but I had a doubt, if I live in another country (Brazil) can I print with the information in Portuguese ?!
How about your stitching clamp you used?
It´s a Bessey HKL
Where do you get the clear lenses from
what do you mean?
Please what is the thickness? Thanks
Gracias! Excelente trabajo.

Wonderful ! I don't have thick enough leather to make one for the labrador dog of my parents (max 2mm thickness) ! too sad
Why don’t you just double or triple stack the leather then?? Just a suggestion 👍🏼👍🏼
@@deanbriggs5058 why not, i will try it, don't think about it ! thank you for the suggestion ;)
Great design Tony, I will need to try this pattern next.
Anyway you can start accepting folks into your Facebook page?????
Thanks tony 👍👊🏻
Very good collar. Shame I haven't got a dog.
save this

Muito bonito seu trabalho amigo..abraço...
Yeap, the music style video, like
🐶💗
Something tells me that there is some way to make a nice looking bracelet from this pattern (hint, hint Tony).
I think my dog will try to eat it - he REALLY likes the smell of my leather closet.
👏👏👏
Morning

Lol one dislike. Must be the other not so good Etsy pattern seller
