Tara, I love the confidence you demonstrated in tackling the bannister on the deck. And certainly, John should try his hand at making an apple crumble. Great to see John taking care of other business that doesn’t threaten his neck and shoulder injury. I think you are on the verge of having two toddlers chasing around the farm. Sawyer seems like such a happy boy who watches Crusoe’s every move. These are the precious fleeting times with your boys, they are so fortunate to have such adventurous dedicated parents!

  • @Ecuador4Life

John's look of horror when Tara said she was going to make a surprise in the outdoor kitchen was priceless.

The vlogs don't have to be about hard work and projects, we, the viewers, enjoy seeing you enjoy your land. Loved seeing you pick an apple and enjoy it on the way to letting out the chickens and watching Crusoe help you.

  • @mariagillinson8527

John so happy to see you feeling emotionally in a better place. Managing your injury! Empowering Tara! So proud of you! You’ll both get through this guys!

  • @peterwhite9261

Well done, Tara. Picking apples with the boys was so precious. Sawyer learning his environment. Precious!❤

Tara, I am so PROUD of the process you followed to quiet the voices in your head telling you what you couldn’t do by reminding yourself of things you’d done in the past and how this was no different. And then, you found the Holy Grail: a large portion of woodworking is simply problem solving (and Moms are great problem solvers). I was jumping for joy when you went for it and made your own spacer (guys call them “jigs” or things that help you do the same thing over and over exactly). You are correct that “it takes as long as it takes” without the added pressure on you and John of where you SHOULD be in the process (it took me a while to learn this while learning woodworking). Just know that in no time the family will be enjoying the outdoor kitchen and laughing about events on the journey. Well done!!

Well done Tara and how lovely to see Sawyer following in his big brother’s footsteps by being helpful!

  • @sarahhansen762

I definitely think it would be great content for some episodes where John joins Tara in the garden, kitchen, and with the kids.

  • @joyhursey1480

You live in a wonderful place and it’s lovely to see the children growing up so free and happy.

  • @KitKat-tl7zv

Tara, you’re a rockstar! You handled the building flawlessly!

  • @barbraw-backtoeden7419

The end brought me to tears…you are such great role models …showing the world how children should be raised…surrounded by nature, eating fruit from the trees and barefoot grounding on our precious earth…absolutely beautiful ❤❤❤❤

  • @educationiskeytoallthings6976

Sawyer so wants to crawl up and get his own apple...lol. He is so ready to talk away. I can't wait. I hope he is a great match for a playmate for Crusoe. This is going to be exciting to watch them growing up together. :)

i liked and appreciated a lot how you Tara were tacking the wood work relaxed, taking your time, with no stress and, as well, how john accepted that he needs to give his body time to heal. no stress, perseverance and bravery facing what life presents us. congratulations to both of you.

  • @judyherman1249

I love all your videos, but I especially love the ones where Crusoe is picking the fresh foods and eating them. Such a joyous time in a child's life to remember for the rest of their life's, and such a precious memory to know you, as parents, you have provided the best life possible for your children.

  • @rebeccalomax8861

Tara, nice work on the banister - I loved the look on John’s face when you said you were going down to build by yourself, he looked like he did not know which way was up.

  • @MeganSalkeld-cn3tf

Such a beautiful little family picking their own apples...such joy to watch. And well done with the banister Tara...great job ❤

  • @sissilia449

Brilliant work Tara. John's face when you wouldn't tell him what you'd be working on...GOLD! Apple harvest with the boys was so very lovely to see, they are beautiful, fortunate boys x
