Whats the next Chappelle’s Show Video Y’all Want?!
Since you mentioned it in the video, his R Kelly song ‘piss on you’. Amazing!!
Charlie Murphy True Hollywood Stories...
Keeping it real goes wrong. There's 2 of them.
It’s gotta be Charlie Murphy True Hollywood Stories. Do Rick James first and Prince second
You've gotta do the charlie murphy rick james one
Their "outrage" is laughable. As soon as Dave enters the sketch all of a sudden everything is hilarious! And then when Dave leaves the sketch it's not funny anymore. Total hypocrites.
Lets be honest , you guys looked terrified until Dave showed up!
Nigga!
It's funny how when Dave Chappelle enters the scene, the mood of their reactions suddenly changes to acceptance of the humour.
@thatescalated quickly ohfercrissakes
They triggered
Yeah it is disgusting to see their hypocrisy and elitist attitude towards this skit.
Exactly! He needed a black guy to justify the comedy. God forbid ( to him ) if white actors ever spoke those words to poke fun racial stereotypes!
Facts, you saw how he was ready to disapprove the video and say it's racist until he saw Dave walk in. It's clearly a Dave Chappelle show skit so why get ready to turn ape wild? Lmfaoo on ape wild
Funny how I could tell you were all sensitive until Dave came in
The shit wasn’t funny till Dave popped in. It was white folks repeating stereotypes. It was all to set up Dave.
The funniest part of the reaction is that he gets bent out of shape when the cast says niggar but when Dave Chapelle says it constantly he laughed his ass off.
EXACTLY what I was thinking! Everything is a double standard in today’s soft world!
Its almost like they forgot the Show is called ‘Chappellle Show’ and Dave is the main writer that came up with this
It's because the chapelle character in the show is almost meta. He would himself in 50s be called nword out of spite. The white cast (in a TV show) and reality are only called it as a name and its treated with respectfully "these are the n***ars that we like". As a black cast member/character, its like he's realised a hack in the game, where he can call these white cast members the nword with impunity and with as much distain that he wouldn't be able to in the real world. It's cathartic. This is why in restaurant scene he's saying "the racism is killing me".
He's playing a 50s black character, and the only one who aware how racist the show is because the white 50s cast are playing it ignorant and unaware.
The moment of how great the sketch is, is when GFs dad hears she's dating the ni@@ar from school, but is happy it's a white guy with the surname.
That's when you see, to white people, nword has only offensive connotations when person is black. When they are white, it's just a name....
Just backs up the truth that the N-word is not the problem, it's about controlling what others say. The pretence at how insulted and offended they are at the utterance of a word from a white person's mouth and then the same word is hilarious from a black person's mouth... yeah, if the word was truly offensive it wouldn't matter who said it.
It's all bollocks and just a control thing.
It’s not supposed to be funny when the whites say it. Dave is the comedian. The whites are there to set him up.
Even though her face is frozen you can tell how hard she was trying not to laugh. She only started laughing once her man started to 😂
Laugh girl! You can clearly see you want to. It’s comedy at its best. Enjoy it. Get entertained. Haha. That beginning when they hold back their laugh. Lmao.
i swear all these young woke reactors need to have two or three drinks before reacting to Dave Chapelle skits . This isn't your politically approved message for sure , this is raw , authentic comedy ( i'm thinking of the skit with Charlie Murphy) , not the type of things they're used to nowadays .
These 2 poor kids were offended. lol. I feel so sorry for this younger generation.
Great show..I miss the older days when everyone wasn't offended by comedy.
what days are those ? people have been complaining about comedy since the 20’s (100 yrs) 😆✌🏽
The Day Ones people don’t understand context and freedom of speech. They also are gullible to made up “new speak” words and phrases like “hate speech” which doesn’t exist. That’s what he meant I believe.
We don't make a big deal about eye color but skin color is important? (not directed towards you). Love the Chappelle show! For the people who don't understand or enjoy Dave and friends, I feel sorry for you, but would never tell you for many reasons.
Yeah I think they still were offended but didn’t have Twitter to tell everyone
Never happened
The good old days when we didn't get offended. We knew it was comedy and it was hilarious!
Todays youngins can’t handle good material… uptight from wearing skinny jeans too much
Young people dont wear skinny jeans anymore
@@Jsd8675 false. Depends on where you are from. The teenagers in my city coming out of school are still wearing skinny jeans. Proof that social media just decides to cancel shit when it’s not even true. I believe the people making these allegations of skinny jeans being old are people from places like California etc. liberal weird states. Not where I come from.
This wasn’t the good ole days, this was the bad ole days whe people were too dumb to be offended. The reason Dave left this show was due to how whites on set were laughing at the use of the N word. He realized he had gone to far & given whites a pass on things. Racism has resurfaced in the nation because our leaders have made it ok to promote racist ideologies & thought patterns. Being offended regarding how you are treated & what is said shows signs of growth. That’s good. Promoting stereotypes & not being offended at backwards thought is bad.
@@stellarhyme3 found the brainwashed sheep :D
Dave is a comedy genius! Lol
…. and his writing team.
Context is everything. The words you say aren't that important, it's what you MEAN by them. People who obsess over "words", and not actual actions and intent are really just ignorant.
Tell that to the cultist larpers going after Joe Rogan
Lenny Bruce the comedian tried to enlighten his audiences exactly this in 1961. Then arrested on stage for doing so - together with a very young George Carlin.
@@Huddle_House56 Obviously you don't know what the keyword "context" means
@@jermainezinnerman7450 yes i do you have no clue what I’m even referring to unless you’re in the woke kult too and think the cancel mob should get him. You’re a baby. And I meant that with my chest. I was calling you a baby. Not referring to the word baby in a different CONTEXT you brainlet.
And yet the both of them are scowling when the white characters say it and busting up when Chappelle says it...
You need to check out his Samuel L Jackson beer commercial skit and Charlie Murphy’s true Hollywood stories on Chappell show, it’s f’n hilarious!
I second all the charlie Murphy stories. Classic
On God!
Blazing Saddles was partially written by Richard Pryor, he pushed the envelope in the 70's
Richard Pryor was supposed to star, but the studio turned him down because he was an unknown and went with Clevon Little. Clevon was so great I can’t say it was a mistake, but I have always wondered what it would have been like with Richard Pryor.
He ripped open that envelope and stepped on through the hole!
@@matthawkins8880 he wrote all of the white folks part. Also Richard Pryor set his self on fire 2 with vodka. Poured it on himself and lit on fire. Pryor was the Goat for sure
@@matthawkins8880 it was actually because of Richard's heavy drug use
@@AUmica01 I can certainly believe that. I just heard my story and it seemed believable. I actually don’t think Richard is much of an actor, but he is the greatest storyteller of all time. I don’t call him a stand-up because he is better than that.
Chappelle's brilliant take is to turn all of the stereotypes and language upside down and apply them to a white family. One of the funniest sketches ever. Also love the Racial Draft episode.
I've been watching this skit for well over 15 years and it still makes me laugh every damn time , infact i STILL qoute this fucking skit on a regular basis when i enter my friends house "You niggz cookin?" XD chapelle had EVERYONE qouting this shit back in the day lmao ; his comedy broke racial and cultural barriers ; this man is the GOAT for real
Best part about Chappelle is that no group is safe-he’s an equal opportunity insulter.
Would love to see you guys react to his sketch about ‘The Real World’. Lysol and Tron characters in it are hilarious.
It was hs standup special on Netflix that caught some heat. Because he was giving his experience with a friend that was Trans, but he also had to make the stories funny. A lot of people took it as him making fun or making light of the issues LGTBQ+ people go through.
Chapelle show held no punches back. Man passed on a 50 million dollar contract because they wanted to controls the narrative of the show. Chappelle said, fuck that, imma dip outta here.
That’s not what they were upset about.
@@micahatkins5286 They're always upset about something. Most of the people who were mad probably didn't even watch the special or understand the story. If anything it was supportive of the trans community, not the other way around.
Some people look for reasons to be offended. Or at least pretend to he offended. They are prudes and puritans who expect everyone else to live by their narrow interpretation of what we can and cannot say.
wait that's why he bailed, i thought they just wanted to supercommercialize his show
@@jesussaldana4558 You mean the original show? I never heard that for the Netflix special, just the other stuff mentioned above for Netflix. The original show I heard was because they wanted control over the material.
Seen this a few years back. Play on words......very clever.
He was messing with the media sensors...what he can get away with.
I think he was messing with racism. “ This racism is killing me inside”- Dave Chapelle
Oh no 😂🤣 this is gonna be good. 🤣
Before memes we would literally walk around and yell Dave Chappelle quotes. I was in college when this was on, amazingly funny!!!
This was so ridiculous that it’s hilarious. 😂 😂 Thx I’ve seen it many times.
The best way to fight something like racism is to parody it. Laughter is a powerful weapon in the hands of a master like Chapelle.
This was one I requested! This is a bit much, but very funny. He did a R. Kelly skit also. It’s called Piss on you. It’s hilarious also.
Lmao yes the Piss on you video and the Remix 💀
@@darklordrowan6152 I agree wholeheartedly
If u don't do this then I don't even know what ur doing here. Lol. Hilarious especially if u lived thru the whole r Kelly sex tape situation.
Sketches like this were part of the reasons Chappelle walked away from the show. At first it was cutting edge satirical racial comedy but eventually he started to feel like the show was attracting the wrong kinds of people who were tuning in simply to laugh at the racist language. The harm started to outweigh the good intentions behind the comedy.
This. Ironically it's still attracting the wrong people. Same people in the comments doing the "world has gone soft" "he would be cancelled now" "he's an equal opportunity offender, everyone takes too much offence". Not getting that it's pointing out the double standards of society and the use of the nword and how its applied.
Instead it's idiots here saying "let's go back to 2005 when you could say n!@@$r and not be cancelled".
The beauty of this sketch is it's multilayered. Chapelles character could be a 50s black actor playing a milkman in a TV show or an actual milkman in suburbia, and the absurdity he experiences would be no different.
....aside from this skit being funny, I was also laughing at your attempts to NOT CRACK UP
Dave Chappelle is King 👑 love all his comedy. Sometimes we just need to laugh at ourselves
"Take care Mr N word" 🤣🤣🤣 awesome reaction 😆
😳😳😳
@@OfficialLifeWithRecklezz 😬... sorry 😅
What’s wrong with saying Niggar? 🤔
Got ya
@@OfficialLifeWithRecklezz Enjoy your reactions. If you haven't seen "Blazing Saddles" yet, I suggest you watch it. It was actually co-written by Richard Pryor. In fact, he gave his blessings to use of the "N" word. The movie actually makes fun of racism.
Oh he laughs when Dave comes in!!!
he should have just shown the dave chapelle parts then , the rest is cringe
They need to make this skit into a series, it's that hilarious 😆🤣
dave is one of the greatest comedians of our times
You need to watch Eddie Murphy: Delirious.
Dave flips the script on everyone! Brings out the truth in what everyone is actually thinking.. Dave is legend
Lmao this show was so popular when i was in middle school back in ‘04. Before everyone was super sensitive lol. Chappelle is a legend!!!!
Cant believe people get triggered over a funny skit like this
He got in trouble with the lettuce, bacon and tomato.
Bill burr has some pretty hilarious controversial comedy too!!🤣🤣🤣
I watched this a few years back. I felt very uneasy at first until I realized it was genius
I love seeing your faces when you discover great music that I discovered myself 40 - 50 yrs ago. Love your reactions. And there’s so much you haven’t found yet. Enjoy!
R. Kelly skit is great, and Charlie Murphy's true Hollywood stories, the Prince skit is hilarious, one of Chappelle's best
Laughin so hard I was crying!!! I never seen that skit! Chappelle is the man!!! 🤣
When I first seen this I almost pissed myself, I said oh my God only Dave Chappelle can do this, I think he said it every way possible and every time I watch it I still want to piss myself oh my God LOL LOL.
Really Jeff? You almost got pissed by word games played by a black man named Dave Chapele LOL funny is funny period
I think I heard that word more times in this video than in all of my 63 years. He is funny as hell.
the lg-tv bbq community trying to cancel dave is hilarious when you realize the first episode he aired was the one where hes the racist blind guy who doesnt know hes black. its brilliant, the only people that hes insulting, are the racists, bigots, and selfish people in the world.
I dont disagree but the logic of "he made of this one group so he couldnt have insulted another" is just...swiss cheese logic
@@unclebobboomergames naw naw what im saying is he's making fun of the racists and also making it so people arent just ignoring the fact that there are real racists out there that genuinely have those beliefs. It raises awareness to it all. Every race religion creed or nationality experience those things in one way or another, and he makes sure to bring awareness to that.
@@E-1337 yeah but his special mostly made him seem bitter at the progress of lgbt advocacy.
@@unclebobboomergames or bitter at a group of people being hateful towards a friend of his that took her own life
@@E-1337 not if i listen to everything. Thatd be a very selective reading. The comparisond with how he views the comparisons with the black community make it cleat
He's a comedian his job is to make you laugh
Chapelle carries on from the works of Richard Pryor, black comedian from the 70s and 80s who wrote and produced very similar content using the concepts of racism to mock racism such as the movie Blazing Saddles and The Toy which are both hilarious movies but probably wouldnt be able to be made today because people dont understand the context or dont want to...either way its all brilliant comedic writing
…. Nonsense. Dave, himself, is proof to this. The truth is, comedy is at an all time high point. We’ve never seen so many successful “edgy” comics , as we do now. They’re more opportunities & platforms than there’s ever been. And, everyone’s getting rich, with or without the major deals. Comedians are our front pushing the idea of out of control censorship because it’s benefits them professionally, in more ways than one. No one’s been censored & no one’s actually been canceled. There will always be a small portion of the population who’ll come out against certain comedians & their material. And, they’re not always wrong. Society is supposed to evolve.
Got to say it the guys a clever writer, he incorporates the WORD constantly and owns it at every corner.
Yo, 100% everything Dave Chapelle is involved in is great. Back when this show was on, EVERYBODY was watching it. Wed all show up to school the next day talking about every single episode. Dudes a genius
There will never be another Chappelle. He has an uncanny way of bringing everyone together
They can get mad at Chappelle all they want. He is the GOAT and nobody will stop being a fan of him.
Chappelle is a damn genius. I hope he stands his ground & never backs down. The show was must see when it was on.
Dave, Bill Burr, and Joey Diaz are the GOATs of this kind of comedy
Two words- Richard Pryor! See the original and funniest "Black" comic.
Hey man, so just to save you some time every episode of Chapelle show is worth a highlight. This man is a legend who needs to be celebrated more.
If you've noticed, when they show the number of the house it's a reference to section 8!
Richard Pryor and Redd Foxx were famous for this type of racial humor.
They were genius’s
Dave is a genius! I am a white guy and I don’t use that word and it doesn’t offend me to hear it in this context. If it is said in a hateful and deliberate way with malice, that is a whole different thing.
"How not to get your ass kicked by the police" was a good one.
I watched this to see her reaction 😂
She looks uncomfortable at times.
Half the time during their reactions she looks like she couldn’t care less.
Dave is a comedy genius. No other human being would ever think of this skit. It's honestly brilliant.
The way he is is what made him Bill Burr such good friends even back when Chappelle show is on…. They’re not afraid to touch the subject, but they do it in like genius, Waze especially when it’s Dave Amy glass and drop my phone and then tear up the things that really hit. What’s up my boy wants to that is pretty much my mental therapy…
When he said the Adams family he wasn't ready for this one
Using the N word is not always bad. Satire is a powerful tool for pointing out what is wrong.
omg chappeles show hes a legend!! watched every episode
This generation simply can't get comedy. This is classic comedy
It ain’t never too much when it comes to Chappelle 😂😂😂
Lenny Bruce was one of Chappelle's biggest influences i think. but since he was a white guy doing it in the 50s the style didn't really pop off back then.
I served in the US army in the early 90's we had every race in the military and when bored we told racists' jokes to each other we all laughed our asses off. No one was offended we were a team.
The GOAT!!! Made everyone laugh together.
Nobody wants to say this, but……… The success of this show & Dave’s career since, is actually proof that comedy was never in any real danger. Business is better than ever, especially for the edgiest comedians. They promote an idea of society becoming hypersensitive out of self interest. It very beneficial to the profession, ….meaning financially. It’s not in their best interest to admit how good things actually are in comedy. All one has to do is look around. Opportunities are everywhere, different platform options are now available & the diversity of comedians is growing everyday. Dave Chappelle will go down as one of the greats, which is well deserved. But, he’s still extremely loyal to the club. It’s kind funny. Dave has already claimed to be the victim of canceling, TWICE. And yet, he’s dropped numerous award winning specials, as part of another major deal. That’s literally, the opposite of being canceled. Today, he’s treated as a God. Go figure. So, he’ll continue to push the same BS narratives in unison with the rest of the Brotherhood of Comedians. And they’ll keep on doing it as long as people are so willing to believe …..
For me personally, I feel as if he’s telling less jokes, which of course translates to being less funny. Hopefully that pattern will change….
A lot of people and groups have been trying to cancel Dave. That’s why he stopped doing his show and dropped out of the public eye for a while. My thing is, everybody knows who Dave is and what he does, so I don’t care what color you are or what group you belong to, he’s going to roast everyone and if you don’t like it don’t watch his stuff! Dave Chapelle is the funniest comedian out there!
He didnt stop his 2003 show because ppl wanted to cancel him, it was the other way around acutally ; he was loved TOO Much ; people woudl hassel him everywhere he went to say qoutes from the show ; ppl would call him Nigger to his face and shit ..........he had enough and went to africa to step out of the spotlight ; there was many other reasons ;) Look up the interview wwhere he talks about it with James Lipton if you wanna know the real reason
They only been trying to cancel him recently cause of his standup ; not because of his Skitshow
Dave has always been an equal opportunity offender and I’m here for it😂😂😂
@@Makaveli13Xroy actually, it stems from dave feeling like he wasn't in control of his show. and he was right. we learned a while ago that CC offered him the show but he didn't own it. but he was young, a new father and he needed the money. between that and the "pixie sketch", dave had to get away. so he turned down millions of dollars with his new contract because he felt like he'd be a slave to the networks.
and now, he's at a point in his life where he's uncancelable. so he's "cancelled" on twitter. so what? he'll go back to his farm and smoke weed and work when he wants to.
Actually Dave quit his show because he felt like his comedy was heading in the wrong direction. He felt everybody was laughing with him in the beginning. But, once the producers started to push for more stereotypical characters & racial content, he began to have second thoughts. So, it turns out that even Dave knows there’s limits in comedy.
I just imagine dave chappelle being like no you gotta say it to the white actors bahahahahahah
You have my permission to laugh as much as you want at the "wetback" joke.
I'm mexican and I always laugh my ass off at that part xD.
All Ima say is... "BLACK BUSH"
The sketch is probably the best skit you’ll see on how one word has been used by different colours. Basically put together in a way where you can’t laugh at one without the other
Glad I grew up when laughing was still ok, no need to self regulate.
The older generation gets it. These young people cant quit get it.

So funny honestly we all need this kinda humor.
this is one of those several things where I've said "this is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life"..
This is the Snowflake generation that is offended by everything. This is. Funny skit because it's COMEDY!!!! I'm so glad I grew up in the previous generation where we could laugh at each other and not always be offended.
Imagine it in the 60’s? They kind of did this in the 70’s with Archie Bunker in the sitcom “All in the Family”. He was a white bigot that hated everyone else. Then they did a flip side spin-off with his black neighbor George Jefferson in “The Jefferson’s”. He hated everybody that wasn’t black. There were sooo many slurs in both shows. They were both very popular and ran for seasons.
