You are working out in the BIG BAY! I do that all the time just not in the snow as it is no fun anymore. I have a set of those PHONE DIALS laying around too. Here in Canada, we call that tire OLD AGE and WEATHER-CRACKING!
They did for a minute. Production ceased again a few years back. What I showed in my video from TireRack are the 6 left from production and they couldn't even validate the date code for me. They said they aren't Old Stock ..."yet"
Throw those shocks out!!! They are garbage !!!! To correct you. The shocks weren’t lowered to 5” from stock …… the lowering springs you are using are the only thing making the shocks ride lower than what they are meant. The DJM lower spring buckets are lower than a stock control arms. I just relocates the spring location in the control arm doesn’t shorten the travel / ride height of the shock. I’m going to assume your running a 2” drop spring and no isos (1/2” drop)
Yes 2" lowering spring and no ISO's + The lowering control arms... So yes you are correct about the lowering control arm not having an impact on suspension geometry.
So glad you found the problem and nothing bad happen... Great looking truck
that lightning is gorgeous, take good care of her
Good job Chris, yes we must keep up with maintence but you have such a inventory of cars, you can't take of everything bud. Good choice on the tires.
Loving the podcast with Kasl sounds like you had a fun night driving the vert in the snow storm good god what a horror show ..
Hey, two in less than a week! He's baaaaaaack! LOL 👏
