So honored to have funded this project, I can't wait to get my copy!
As an Everett native who’s always felt a huge relation to Margaret, how did I not know about this??? I’d love to see a recording of this show if it’s available?
As someone who attended the original tour and bought the album onsite, I've got to say, I really wish they'd make this story public by releasing a recording of one of the shows, or at least Jason and Chicken John's story... It's so beautiful! More people should have the experience!
there are some live recordings from audience members on youtube, I have a playlist of some of them on my channel
@@JuliaRoseGreen I’ll definitely check them out!!
@@indiemacabre9777 the digital album is on Bandcamp. Unfortunately the physical book and CD is sold out. I saw Webley before the pandemic, so maybe late 2016 or 2018. He performed Margaret, and gave an explanation of the song before hand. So if you happen to be somewhere he's touring, that's an option.
My best friend and I smoked cigarettes at the time, so after the show we hung out and had a beer with other smokers in the smoking area outside the venue. Jason came out and talked to everyone, and then took out his guitar and played several songs.
So if you can attend one of his shows, I recommend hanging around to see if he hangs around too. If he does, or even if you talk to him in the merch line, I'm confident he'll share at least a little bit more about Margaret's story and the project.
i wish this was on spotify :((
Leave me in my pyramid.
HYPE
Do ya 'splain why a pyramid?
I don't really know if anybody knows why they built a pyramid, of all things, just that two sons, pioneers of Everett, Washington, and one of them being Margaret's father, built the monument for their mother after she died.
