Good stuff. Fished north oc today. Waves were rough but after watching your videos I didn't give up. Little heavier sinker on the c rig and ended the day with 7 BSP. Cheers greats videos and information and inspiration. 👊🏻🍻🎣

    👍🏾Nice video!
I fish a lot of the beaches out where I live 🎣
I always check the wave action 🌊….before I cast. But most of the time, the water is pretty darn good. We are lucky where we live

I have an 8’6” MH SST and can cast up to 2oz on it, maybe more (it’s only rated to 1.5oz). What’s the max weight sinker you can throw on your 9’ M? I’m looking for something longer that can cast up to 2oz lures. Right now I’m looking at an SST, Celilo or rockaway SP.

Get the okuma Hawaiian for 2oz it casts further than any other rod
The SST medium 9’ rated to 1oz
The SST medium 10’6” rated to 3/4oz
I still throw 1.5oz with either. But now I’m preferring 1.25oz weight, it’s heavy enough and I can feel
The perch bite and fight better with less weight

Yoooooo Vince! Great video man! Is there any way you could make a quick video on how your smiling those things? They look sooo good!
Also… I fished that same spot today and… Nada!?! Guess I need lessons from a master 🤷
Sooo… lemme know if I can tag along one day. I have lots to learn. Thanks for the epic Videos and gear! Stoked on my 115’s and grubs and those hooks are the BOMB! Super sharp and no signs of rust after 3days of use. Great products! Tight lines amigo!

Yeah come fish with me. Today the waves were probably way to obig. I think 300-500 might be optimal wave energy. Charlie shares a tip about this, in a video I just published. Check out my latest vid “Big Waves. Big Challenge.”
Thanks for discovering Battlestar Tackle! Ya man, I only want to fish with the best and that all I want to offer others too, so I’m glad you picked up the Battlestar 115 Jerkbaits. Some cool new stuff in development now too.

    Hello,
I learn a lot by watching your video. So, thank you
But would you please do not insert your finger into the gill. There is a chance to break their gill specially if you are going to release them.
There are many other way that you can hold them.
Also it is kind of disrespect to these beautiful fish that are giving us fun.
    Thank you

    • @VINCEGOESFISHING
      @VINCEGOESFISHING  9 месяцев назад

That is a great tip. If you intend to release the fish, do not touch the gills. Actually, if I know I will release a fish I won't touch it at all, won't even take it out of the water. I kept these fish for eating. Thanks for sharing that info so people can learn how to properly handle fish for catch and release.
